Back when NPE still worked you could get $6 off by placing two orders.

You can still use other codes for 5% off on separate orders too. I think it ends up being <$2 difference to order them separately.
The 5% off codes will work on multiple items--I got $1.75 off each of these latest Vita releases in one order (couldn't find a $5 off code from my packages and didn't want to risk either game selling out).

Well I guess I should loose my CAG license. Forgot about the $5 off $60 and had no luck with the 5% coupons. What code are you using? I tried NPE and mypsvita and neither worked so I just checked out. Did not want to miss them, but I guess it was not an issue since they are still available.

VITAFR still works ($1.75 off). I used it on both games in separate orders. Dagnabbit, I didn't think to use a $5 off coupon by ordering both together. I will have to remember to do that next time, as Play Asia seems to be releasing Vita games in pairs recently. They sure are putting out a lot of Vita stuff.

Stick drift is sadly common in my experience. I’ve replaced several on my Vitas (I have 5 now). I do travel with them but always in a case. Guess I need to baby them more
How many of your Vitas have been 2000s instead of 1000? It doesn't usually happen with the 1000 - those are built like a tank. People prefer the 2000 since it's slim, but slim models are always cost-cutting measures for the manufacturer.

I have 2 black slims (both have had stick drift issues). I have a red slim, but never took it out of the box. I bought all of them new.

I also have 1 OG white and 1 OG black. Both were used when I bought them a few months back, but they don't appear to have any stick drift issues.

FWIW, I usually just download and play Geometry Wars to check the sticks. But any twin stick shooter would work.

I have a 1000 I bought in 2013 that has well over a thousand of hours on it, probably over 2,000, but hard to say. Put a ton of hours into Destiny of Spirits early on. I have not noticed any drift. I thought I was having an issue with Raymond Legends load screen, but I think he just walks without drift. As soon as you hit any action button he stops. Geometry was would be a good test.
I do have some OLED screen blotches that can only be seen on a dark screen, but those are the only issues.
Have a 2000 still in the box I bought when I was worried about the oled screen lifespan. Also have a second 1000 from a pawnshop that was $35 because there was no charger, but came with a 16gb and batman. Seems to work fine. At some point I plan to hack it to play Phantasy Star PSP rather than using my UMDs.

I've been using CENSOED as my 5% off code.

I also have always ordered the game pairs separate from Play-Asia. A while back (before their exclusives, even) I ordered a bunch of stuff together and they weren't able to fulfill the order because one item sold out while they were waiting for stock of another. Since title quantity is limited in their system I find it really hard to imagine the same thing could happen today with only their exclusives in your order, but I'd rather not be the one who finds out differently.

I had a 2000 go bad after about five years of regular play, had issues with reading memory cards. On my second Slim and no issues with it so far.

I also don't play a lot of fast action games, more RPGs, VNs, and indies. So I'mprobably not as prone to stick issues as someone playing Ninja Gaiden or other similarly-intense games.

If I live in the States, can I get a shipment from Singapore with all that’s going on right now or is like all international shipping down right now?

Looking to get a vita game from Singapore is why I’m asking (none in the States).

I have had a few things show up from Play Asia in the past few weeks, so yes international shipping is still going. it may take a little longer, but it should be fine. What are you importing?

I find that interesting as they both look like decent games. I figured they would be gone within an hour since the print run is so low.

well Guard Duty has sold out but then it only had a 1,000 copy run the other game Demon’s Tier+ has a 1,500 copy run so maybe by the end of today or by the end of the weekend it will be sold out

I was going to try and get Soul Sacrifice Delta (Asia English version) but the buyer ended up taking it down and is now listed as “Seller is Away”. I asked him before that if he could ship it here and he recommended not doing it as it could be a few months until it could ship with what’s going on.

I have an order that playasia shipped on 2/24/20 its taking a bit more time to get to me then it usually does usually I get stuff from playasia in about 2 weeks time I see from my delivery confirmation that the package is moving just very slowly

most likely because he doesnt want to ship it during this quarantine or some personal / medical reasons. i had to close all my auctions down because of this. my post office isnt closeby.

Hack your Vita and use SD card.
Just recently did this... It's a game changer. After my 64gb failed, I'm enjoying my 200gb without any concerns.
I was lucky enough to never have any of my past cards go south on me, but using that 64GB cap was a HUGE pain the the A$$ to say the least. On my long and short list of reasons to hacks one's Vita, changing out the Sony memory for SD cards is tops of both lists. LOL

How does the sd card even work? Is there finally an adapter or is it doing it so the card slot for games works for memory?
So the standard game slot is used, as it takes an adapter shaped like a standard cart, and the SD fits in that, so the card slot is always used for memory after the fact. I did my hack with a 2000 unit, and that seemed slightly easier, since the 2000 has that 1GB of on board memory. It still works for the 1000, you just need to do a few more steps I believe than if you had a 2000.

I also sold my Sony brand 64GB card, and it covered my adapter and 400GB SD card, and I still put a few bucks in my pocket. Now I have as much memory as I ever need, and can put most of my past Sony libraries on one device. I added CFW to my unit probably about a year ago actually, and I just finally added some emulators last week, and I've been having good fun with those. I've been grabbing some "hacked" versions of GB, SNES, MD and Master System games and it's been really cool, as the Vita's screen is pretty good for those past systems.

How does that work if I want to use one of my physical games? I thought the adapters went into the game card slot.
Technically, once you've hacked your system anyways, you could just back those games up, and run them off your new memory card set up. As it's just taking your physical, and making a digital back up, which saves wear and tear on the cart, as well as the cart slot.

Even when it's hacked?
To answer your question, yes, on PSN even after being hacked, but if you inquiring about avenues for games, hacks, or modded apps after the fact, you'll need to use Google. As such matters aren't open to discussion on this site, or any site for that matter, unless they are set up specifically for those matters.

Did anyone else get a shipping notification for War Theatre/the other game from Luc Bernard recently, but the items haven't actually shipped? I received a tracking number on 4/16 and it still hasn't been sent.

Considering grabbing a second vita specifically to use an SD card with all of my digital games, keeping my OG 1000 for my physical items  How difficult is it to set things up for SD2Vita?  Is the process easier on a particular model, or pretty straightforward overall?

Realized that with Sony ignoring the Vita, I'd like to be able to have my full digital library backed up and playable rather than just a handful on a few proprietary cards.

I'm still waiting on an actual shipping notice.

I hope everyone got most of the physical copies of games they wanted for the system. I’m not sure if it’s because of the pandemic, but a lot of the Vita games are becoming more and more expensive.

Persona 4 Golden for instance, is generally running for $50+ on eBay. I could have sworn about a month ago I saw a few under $40. Killzone Mercenary as well seems to be going up a bit.

I noticed this too. I've been trying to get a copy of Silent Hill for vita and the prices seem way up. Probably just going to wait in hopes the prices drop but damn if it isn't frustrating

I’m guessing it’s because of the popularity of the systems (and their supplies they had during their run) but it’s weird seeing PSP games that are so old being so dirt cheap on places like eBay in comparison to how expensive Vita games are. A lot of the PSP games can still be found brand new at a reasonable price but if I want to buy a second hand copy of the God of War collection (with a case) on Vita it’s $40+ lol.

I’ve been wanting to get Gravity Rush but at this point I’ll probably go digital or nothing at all. There’s barely any copies and those are trending around $50 for a copy with a case. Ridiculous lol.

PSP sold 80 million systems Vita sold 16 million. There were lots more copies produced of the average PSP game. Most game sales were also physical as digital really just became an option towards the end of the PSP life cycle.
Many of the top Vita titles i.e. Gravity Rush and Uncharted were free through PS PLUS for an extended period (they did not switch each month). This definately undercut physical sales. I actually think PS Plus free games were a major reason for the systems "failure" because many of the games that could have moved 1 million units were "free" and studios did not want to chase sales where even top AAA titles could not hit the 1 million sales mark.

There is simply not the same supply of physical Vita games in the wild as there are for PSP. Prices for complete copies always creep up as GameStop stops carrying a system (I know they still take them, but most stores only have a few games).

It's crazy that the PSP launched 15 years ago. It seems like some of them are starting to suffer from drive failure. I am actually amazed at how well the price has held up on good condition PSPs given how many were made. Vita console and game prices don't shock me that much simply because of the relatively low volume that was produced relative to the fact that the Vita is newer and better tech. And, Vita stuff would be even higher if the Switch never happened, maybe not by much, but some. Sony sure did botch things up for a fantastic handheld system. Misstep after misstep.

If I buy the base game of Soul Sacrifice, can I just buy the Delta dlc separately to go with it, or are they 2 different versions of the game?

I’d just like to have some form of the physical version, but if I’d have to buy the whole digital version of Delta to get that dlc, I’d just buy that then.

As far as I know, Delta doesn't exist as DLC. It's a stand alone expanded version of the game (think like Street Fighter IV vs Super Street Fighter IV). Your save data from the original can transfer to Delta.

So you could buy a physical copy of Soul Sacrifice (just to have) and then buy Delta on PSN OR there is an Asian English physical release of Delta. But Playstation saves are region specific, so that will not be compatible with save data from the North American OG Soul Sacrifice. But if you just want one physical copy and just want to play the better version (Delta) then that would get you sorted.

Thanks for the info, yeah I can’t find the English Delta version really, there is one on eBay but it’s over $200 which I highly doubt anybody will buy lol. There were some that were $70 that were brand new, in hindsight, I probably would have jumped on that.

Set up an ebay saved search and keep an eye out. You should be able to find a used physical English Delta for $30-40 if you keep an eye out.

Man, do the PSP Persona games ever go on sale?  I already have them all physically, but I don't even know where my PSP is and I'd rather play them on my Vita...  thinking about buying them digital but I don't really want to pay $20 each.

PSP and PSVita PSN games don't really go on sale anymore. Sony doesn't care about the legacy systems (PS3 really doesn't have stuff go on sale either). So yeah if we ever get lucky we'll see some sales, but yeah you may be out of luck for a long while.
