PS1 DDR Konamix $20 and Adaptec 1400 $2.90 @ frys.com
May I ask why this game is so "rare"?
Didn't sell well and wasn't printed in large quantities. A lot of fans weren't too happy with the song selection.

Thanks in for one. I just wish shipping wasn't triple item price. Even though Got in I wanted to try it for the hell of it.
Is this the higher model or the lower end? I remember there being two types.
The 1400 is called the "GameBridge" and is the lower end. The 1410 is the "GameBridge TV" and comes with an IR remote and RF cable. The lowest I got the 1410 for was $9.90.
Is the 1410 in stock? I'm having trouble finding it.
Last time I checked, the 1410 was OOS online, but my local Frys had them in-store.

It had a re-print and had went Greatest Hits (I think it's the last PS1 game to become a Greatest Hits too). I was one of those fans not happy with the song selection. Dancemania songs are my favorite DDR songs and no Dancemania songs made the mix something I had no interest in playing

So because it wasnt well liked, so its now considered rare, but somehow, I cant see this game appreciating in value...

Thanks OP, I picked up 2. why 2? For when I need another console hooked up. I mean, at that price, who knows when you would need it? VERY awesome!!

It's a USB 2.0 tuner..There's a pretty lengthy topic about it floating around somewhere in the boards
I bought one for 13 dollars in a woot off a half a year ago, and it didn't work with the only computer I had with USB 2.0 at the time. After installing the drivers, the device was not detected by both the bundled software and dscaler. This problem presisted even after a clean install of windows xp. While the light on the unit lit up fine, and the device was detected by the installer (it asks for you to plug it in at some point of the installation), I just assumed it was a hardware defect or hardware incompatibility, and I ended up paying 40 dollars for a dedicated PCI TV Tuner
This also brings up another point: Support for this device is pretty weak, hence the huge discounts on this item. Adaptec pretty much removed any trace of the product from the website, and the device never seemed that popular until the price went down.
I might buy this again just to keep around, although I'm a bit wary after being burned once.

Obviously since Konamix became a greatest hit that it did sell well. The original DDR wasn't released again because that was the one that fans were not happy about and konamix was a big step up for a game despite having no licensed songs. DDR disney mix is very rare and worth money though.

So I ordered on late Friday night. Everything seemed to ship out fine from DHL.

...Though I'm terribly confused as to why it's not here (set up for two-day shipping). Checked the tracking on DHL's site and here's what I've got.

I'm in Deerfield Beach. Not Ft. Lauderdale. Should I be worried that they may have fucked up and shipped somewhere else?

Nevermind, turns out they dropped it off at the leasing office at my apartment.

Can't get this damn thing to work though. The screen is always blank and the damn audio is blasting this fuzzy noise. Anyone know of ANY way to fix this? I can't seem to find any solutions to this.

Fixed it. But now the video looks REALLY dark.

Konamix is definitely available in B&M stores at the same price and has been for a while. My local store even got a whole stack of them after I had picked one up at the other local Fry's (and it's one of only around three PS1 games they still carry).

... heck. Several Gamestop stores have brand new copies of the game (GH version) in their USED bins. Seriously, I picked up several copies that were never sold for eBay selling and trading. They cost me two bucks or so due to the clearance sale. They're opened, but are new. Heck, some still had the security sticker on them, intact. They just weren't shrinkwrapped.

The software that comes with it is horrible. And using this device in DScaler, the sound goes out of sync by itself after 20 minutes. Does anyone know of any good software similar to DSCaler but wont go out of sync?

Thanks, OP. Picked up 2x1400's. At under 13$ shipped for two, i couldn't resist. I am sure my wife will understand.....maybe.
