anyone know if Port Royale 3: Pirates & Merchants is any good? i remember being very interested in it, then reviews turned me off from it... but at $15 maybe it's worthwhile?

FYI avoid White Knight Chronicles 1; just buy White Knight Chronicles 2 for a few dollars more and get WKC 1&2 on the same disk.

Or don't buy either of them because they are pretty awful games. I finished 1 and it is seriously mind-numbingly boring. 2 is nearly the same game and recycles a lot of areas. AVOID. And this is coming from a JRPG fan.
 
I'm playing Port Royale 3 on the xbox right now and am enjoying it. If you enjoy buying and selling, setting up trade routes, and games where you have to manage build queues, happiness, and the odd military battle then I think you'll get $15 out of it for sure.
