I'd like to know this as well. I'm in the market for a camera and that price is really good, but TRU is not close enough for me to just drive out there and check. Is this YMMV or a TRU sale? Online showing 59.99 still.
that is an understatement. i sold one on amazon for $91 in march. now i can buy 3 with that money! The price of this thing has dropped like a brick.
Where are you in CA?Sorry for the lag I got it in California and it wasn't advertised so I think it was in store only.

Can confirm $29.99 in store only. Went to two different TRU (looking for certain Amiibos).I'd like to know this as well. I'm in the market for a camera and that price is really good, but TRU is not close enough for me to just drive out there and check.
Also, was this in the U.S.?
Try $140 in Feb.that is an understatement. i sold one on amazon for $91 in march. now i can buy 3 with that money!
Are you going to stream on Twitch, play Just Dance, or scan your face for the 2K sports games (NBA/WWE?)Is this worth it?
Lol I used the PS3 Eye camera on my guinea pigs and put them in LittleBigPlanethmmmmm at this price my guinea pigs may get a stream lol
It has multiple ways to play. Camera, move, or phone app.Anyone know if Just Dance 2015 (Just Dance Now) works with only the camera or do you need the PS Move accessories with it?
Did this work for you?I`d suggest price matching this @ Bestbuy using the pic of the shelf tag from this thread.
It`s my primary goto move for pm`s outside of the receipt trick.Did this work for you?
I went to my bestbuy just after and they said that they only price matched prices, and not deals so I got screwed over twice.I`d suggest price matching this @ Bestbuy using the pic of the shelf tag from this thread.
Not sure what you mean the pic in post #21 of this thread only shows the sale price so what "deal" did you attempt?I went to my bestbuy just after and they said that they only price matched prices, and not deals so I got screwed over twice.
I'm a new CAGer, could you explain what the receipt method is?Not sure what you mean the pic in post #21 of this thread only shows the sale price so what "deal" did you attempt?
Per policy they shouldn`t match deals however savvy customers using the receipt method can indeed secure YMMV pm`s including b2g1 and instant giftcard deals.
TRU/Target/Walmart are the normal stores I pm at BB for these deals.
She was lazy the first ? usually asked is do you have proof? Store signage that verifies all the pm requirements should work.I'm a new CAGer, could you explain what the receipt method is?
Went to one Best Buy today, the cashier said we don't price match like that (referring to the picture of the sign from earlier)... She just seemed lazy.
She refused to look at my phone and I asked if she could check the price match policy that says stores are indeed PMed. She declined so I just went ahead with my Sears DS4 PM.She was lazy the first ? usually asked is do you have proof? Store signage that verifies all the pm requirements should work.
The receipt method is generally best for complex and/or non policy price matches. Because the receipt actually shows the final price paid along with whatever other promo was offered it's easier to show them vs explaining it to them.
So say TRU is having a sale " Buy, any 2 $60 games get a $50 instant giftcard". BB should not match it but do the deal at TRU then bring the TRU receipt to BB and request a price match. It's hard for them to generate a "free" gift card so they generally take $25 off each game and "sell" you a $50 BB gift card.
So the end result is 2 games for $45 each($90) w/$50 credit vs $120 w/$50 credit.
YMMV can already be complex(not to mention stupid staff) so knowing exactly what to ask for and how to go about it makes it somewhat simple. She refused to look at my phone and I asked if she could check the price match policy that says stores are indeed PMed. She declined so I just went ahead with my Sears DS4 PM.
For some reason, thought that receipt method was more complicated than the name sounds, but its exactly what I thought, super straight forward.
On another note, successfully PMed in San Francisco, manager was lax. Thanks OP and especially Absofruitly for the post of the price tags.
