OK I'm in for Rogue Galaxy and Fat Princess Adventures.  Trying to decide on the following:

Curses 'N Chaos - $2-3 would be an easier decision but seems fun

Not a Hero - Seems interesting but cheaper currently in Humble Bundle and not sure if PC or PS4 plays better

Hard Corps Uprising - Again cheaper would be better but hear it's good

If I didn't have more expensive and unopened copies of LBP3 ($40 plush edition) and Tearaway (only $12 a month ago) I would get those too. :wall:

Edit- And as predicted I just bought all five because it's late and I wasn't getting anywhere.

I skipped Not a Hero for the reason you mentioned. I paid $5 for the Humble Bundle and got that game plus a few other Devolver Digital games, so I decided to skip it on PS4.

I'm trying to decide between Sleeping Dogs and Metro Redux. I've played Sleeping Dogs on PS3 and it's one of my favorite games, so I wouldn't mind playing it again (and the DLC, which I haven't played yet), but it also doesn't seem like there was a huge upgrade on the PS4.

I know next to nothing about Metro except its general aesthetic and the fact that the games are widely acclaimed, but it does seem like a good deal for two well-received games at that price point. I'm a little concerned that they won't be good examples of PS4 graphics (I usually don't care much about graphics but I just bought a PS4 about a month ago so I still want to be wowed). What games are comparable?

I only want to buy one game right now, since I have a large PS3 backlog, I have limited gaming time, and Uncharted 4 is coming out soon.

Both Metro games graphics are very good. For a while Metro 2033 was considered one of the more taxing PC games

Sleeping Dogs Definitive should be played on the PC if you have a decent rig. The performance on the consoles is not great. 20-30fps. Ouch.

I had the physical copy and all of the DLC for L.A. Noire, but I eventually sold it a few years ago. I kinda want to buy it again on PSN, but I don't know how I feel about paying $10 for the complete version when I already have the DLC on my console. Weird that the vanilla version is listed at $30.

I might buy Beyond Two Souls, can't decide. I played it before, and don't think it deserved the bad rap it got.

I really don't need any other games, as I'm gonna be buying Alienation and Severed tomorrow.

I ended up putting about 220$ into the flash sale and the weekly deals

NO REGRATS

the one thing I didn't end up getting is evil within

I just refuse to pay that much this far in. Hoping xbox throws it up for a better price this week

I ended up getting Beyond and Alien Complete for that sweet Ripley DLC.

I'm still thinking about Bully and Rogue Legacy but I really have no time for any gaming. Just need to feed that sweet backlog baby.

$220? Pretty sure that exceeds my lifetime digital purchases by quite a lot (not counting subscriptions).

Isn't it on sale for around $5 every other week? I'm pretty sure there was a bundle with that and another game for around $7 just a week or two ago. LA Noire is constantly on sales lists in one form or another from what I recall, so i'd hold off for a better deal.

Yeah, the funny thing is I could've swore I bought the game at some point in the past 6 months when it was on sale.

I had 110 in wallet I bought 100 more and then 20 more for a few last games

The last few flash sales I've enjoyed and since I recently upgraded my ps3 to 1.5tb I am no longer restricted by space

I am pretty tired of buying ps3 titles though so I am hoping to snag the last 4 or 5 things I want and then focus on current gen

I used to never buy digital because I was kind of worried about it and preferred that physical collection but now I am the opposite I love being able to be lazy and not put a disc in and not having any clutter at all. Sure there are risks with digital but there are risks with physical too (fire, theft)

Same here. And as I've gotten older and accumulated more stuff around my house, accumulating less stuff is a nice benefit of digital too. I still get to feel like I have a collection, but it doesn't have to take over a room or end up in boxes. Sounds trivial, but I used to have a horde of well over 3k games in box in my house. That takes some serious space. Almost all of them are gone now in favor of Steam, PSN, XBLA, and even [the shitty] eShop. Feels liberating.

The only PS4 game I own is Destiny. Any must buys on the list?

I was interested in The Order when it was first announced, any good?

It's ok. I'd say it's worth it at the price. Just remember it's super short, and can be beaten in one sitting. Damn. Where were you a few weeks ago when the last of us was on sale. If you own a ps4 but not a copy of the last of us, you're doing it wrong. ;) I'd say go for alien and tomb raider as well. Definitely worth those prices.

I just got my PS4, I own TLOU on PS3 at least though? haha

I'll check those out, thanks!

I bought:

Tomb Raider

Alien: Collection

Metro Redux

Castlevania (Vita)

Lone Survivor

I have a feeling a few of those might end up on PSN+ soon but oh well, they were cheap.

I was excited to see Max Payne and was going to grab at $5 until I realized it's the PS2 port, which was awful.  I was hoping for a port of the PC or at least Xbox version.  I'll just replay on PC.

TLOU looks better and plays smoother but if you don't plan on going through it again not sure it's worth it. If you haven't been through the expansion, maybe it's worth it for that since it's included...but I'd wait for a sale.

Max Payne isn't as bad of a port as you think. I bought it and it is def worth $5. $15 though is a negative.

I grabbed Littlebigplanet 3 and Tearaway just a few minutes ago. Both were still $7.99, but some of the other flash sale prices have already changed back to the regular price.

I wound up getting it because I have Shadow Warrior already and Dropsy looks quite unappealing to me. Of course now they'll add something I can't live without to the BTA.

Almost forgot about this sale over the weekend. Great prices all around but just ended up getting :ps4: Rouge Galaxy. Already have it complete for :ps2:. Re-buying games seems like the CAG thing to do.

I have a motto with money

as long as it isn't heroin or whores

no regrets

Picked up:

Dishonered DE

Valiant Hearts

Rogue Galaxy.

They will all now be free next week in some bizarre flash giveaway sale.

Anyone think Tearaway for PS4 will eventually make its way onto PS Plus?
Let me just my crystal ball. . . . . It's a fun game, especially if you have kids who play games. It's cheap enough to just buy it now rather than wait for who knows how long if it may or may not come to Plus.

Just Alien: Isolation Complete for me, and since I still haven't gotten to Vicar Amelia in Bloodborne, it's going to be a while until I touch it anyway.

Rogue Galaxy PS4
Beyond Two Souls PS4
LittlePigPlanet 3 PS4

Rogue Galaxy was an awesome game I couldn't finish because ps2 had broke. It has aged very well for being 10 years.

Damn, I'm dumb. Missed out on what I wanted. I forgot this yesterday, and instead of doing it first thing this morning I put it off to tonight. Thought this went until midnight. Really wanted Rogue Galaxy for $5.99, oh well. You snooze you lose. That is the type of game that might not go on sale for awhile. I'm sure some of the others will.

This thread can officially be moved to deal graveyard.
