After looking at the video and hearing more about how dirt track cars handle etc I have a different view of the Stewart incident.  He may still be at fault but the kid was an idiot for walking out there and I can see how it may have been hard to miss the kid.  fuck ing sucks for everyone involved no doubt.

Same for those people in St Louis.  Awful.  For all involved, the family that lost their son, the police and the idiots looting because they think they have an excuse.

I wanted to like Bryce Harper, I really did. He has tremendous talent, but he's become so arrogant and cocky that I just can't stand him. It was great when Teheran beaned him, then promptly asked him what he was gonna do about it. Good stuff.

 
So from what I can gather, the punk kid who got shot, was basically assaulting the cop and trying to get his gun from him, cop got off a shot in his cruiser, guys run off, he yells stop and then fires. 

Momma was like why didnt taze him etc. Umm you think if he would have actually got the cops gun he would have just knocked the cop out and NOT killed him? 

Basically kid was dead moment he decided to try and get that cops gun. Either he got gun shot cop, then got shot the hell up when other cops found him, or he got shot like he did. Either way punk kid was dead. He's dead because of his dumb decision to assault a cop. 

If what I read was accurate.

Yes, Trout is a monster. I'm looking forward to seeing how much he gets on the free agent market. I think he'll be 28 when his current contract is up, and he should still get a huge contract.

Lone Survivor actually has a plat which surprised me
. It's decent and pretty short. Use a guide for the best way to get all the endings. Fez I've been working on. I liked it a lot, but soon enough I got pretty lost. Other 2 haven't tried.

FEZ is a dream to play on the Vita and my fave of the four listed. So brilliant and happy and awesome.

And I agree with Diamond on Lone Survivor. First playthrough you can do on your own, but others should be played with a guide. The roadmap on PST.org is what I used and it's quite good.
 
Is that fishing game as fun as Infamous 2?  I think the last time I played a fishing game it was on NES.  It was pretty basic but fun for a little kid.  I would probably be bored to death now.

Yeah, this was the game.  I remember playing this a lot with the resident video game nerd in the neighborhood.  The kid had every system and tons of games so we used to go play at his parents house in their garage.

I vote Enslaved. Good shit there. I need one more trophy for the DLC & game 100%. Thought I had collected all of one collectable, but chapter select says I'm missing two. Tried to find last night to no avail so hopefully I can knock that out quick tonight and start playing one of like 4-6 games I've started but not finished yet.

Tournament mode was pretty fun, but it is not near as fun as infamous 2. Now I am going through the challenge stuff, and it is a bit of more of a chore. It would not be so bad if so much of it did not seem luck based.

It probably helped that I went out drinking Friday and Saturday nights, so it was a great game for playing with a hangover.

Right now you have more TT points for that than some games with platinums have. It will be interesting to see how quickly or if it comes back down to a more normal score. If the trophies are so unusual as you said, I guess it could stay pretty high. Vita games always seem to have more points in general. A Vita plus game especially.

Just picked playing a lot more recently due to an injury at soccer that took me to the hospital. Wife said hospital bills are way too crazy to risk it, so Golf it was. I have played 6 times in the last two weeks. Getting a lot better and there is a cheap course near me, $9 for 9 holes! It's not too bad overall, can get frustrating.

I've been told once you start getting stat upgrades all the time, just beat the bosses and go to a new PT again. They'll start popping up again for all the minibosses,etc. I fucked this up when I played, because on NG+ I beat it in like 5 minutes and didn't collect shit...now I'm gonna have to advance again to NG+++ to start getting the remaining BP's (got all the runes)

Having said that...make sure you make a couple deep runs to all the levels first and nail all the minibosses or try to get any of those special chests you can get, just in case.

Pete's post reminded me that I really like what squareenix has done as a publisher.  They have some clunkers and many games I will never play but I love that they saved games like Sleeping Dogs and released Just Cause 2 and the new Tomb Raider along with these smaller games.

EDIT: I guess I should have assumed this but I did not know they were already working on the Sleeping Dogs sequel.  I guess making the original for x1 and ps4 will help them learn the machines and make the second even better right?

Bestiary complete, what a pain, the final boss consists of one boss, that when killed immediately another boss starts. The first boss requires you to periodically cast a spell and you will need to chug at least one blue potion to refil your MP, that means you can hold fewer red potions to refill HP. You have to hit the first boss with the book 50 times, THEN you have to kill it so 1 blue potion and probably a red potion are required. Unlike every other boss that you can save in the middle of it once you get the bestiary entry in case you die and have to start over, you can't save. Then you move on to the final boss and have to hit it with the book 70 times THEN survive long enough to kill him so it will save. If you die you have to do both boss battle over again and hit it with the book all over again.

I am so glad I didn't listen to the trophy guide and save the bestiary for the From Mode playthrough, you receive double damage.

I know, I just finished the play through and some of it was pretty frustrating like the fire temple and the final temple they literally cut and pasted rooms from every other dungeon for each floor with maybe 5% new rooms so it took like 3 hours to get through it, but it's all fresh in my mind now so I would have the best chance of getting through it if I kept playing :wall: .

ME1-3 is on my back log. I played and beat inFamous 2, Brutal Legend and TLOU. Played a bit of Red Dead but not much.

I really enjoyed Brutal Legends and inFamous 2. I am probably going to start up inFamous 2 or inFamous Festival of Blood soon.

Infamous 2 was great and can be 100% pretty easily. I loved Red Dead, but it has a ton to do to 100% (not to mention you need the DLC). God of War 3 was awesome as well. I have to go back and beat it again since I lost my gamesave when my old PS3 died.

BL is pretty bad. I don't recommend it at all. Fun story, starts interesting, but gets dull and really repetitive really fast.

I've only played about half but:
- god of war 3 if you want something fairly straight forward and fun. I imagine you know what to expect.
- 3d dot game heroes if you're willing to put some time in and the art style intrigues you
- red dead is time consuming too but is essentially an aesthetic piece + gta on horses. I loved it, but not everyone would.
- brutal legend, as much as I want to like it, you will probably walk away unsatisfied. It's worth playing if you like rts at all or just because it's such an odd game, but probably one that can wait.
- mass effect 1 literally bored me to tears and made me question my self worth
- portal 2 coop is the best thing you could do IF IT fuck ING WORKED

A simple little thing nearly ruin my enjoyment of Red Dead. To manually target you press and hold a button, but they stupidly made use of the pressure sensitive nature of the trigger rather that making it pressed or not pressed to determine whether you manually target. No matter how hardly depressed the trigger is, as soon as you let up just a little bit (even if the button is still depressed) you will exit manual targeting. Drove me batty at times.

Start 3D Dot Heroes and share my pain at least I would be able to help you if you get stuck. It was pretty enjoyable up until the fire temple (7th temple) started frustrating me. Or if you want to play through the game with characters created by other people you probably don't want to wait too long, as the two big character storage web sties closed and you can only find them in pockets across the internet.

Infamous 2 or God of War 3 since those are 2 of my favorite games. Red Dead is right up there too. The rest I havent played or played little of them. Brutal Legend was not fun to me even though others liked it. It was $5 bargain bin material at Best Buy so long I think they finally had to dump them in the landfill with ET.

I really enjoyed the brief time I spent with Brutal Legend. The soundtrack was fucking awesome. But I apparently only completed the first two sections (so says my trophy count). Makes me sad to hear it goes down hill.

I'm also spending way to much time thinking about what I want my 20th plat to be, since it lodges itself forever in my PSProfile. 10th plat was Trine 2, which looks dumb. Kinda leaning towards inFamous 2 since 1 was my first. Symmetry y'all.

So I'm on NG+ and I'm at the point where when I beat a mini boss, it just gives me coins. Should I be going to another new game then?

No, that happens sometimes. It's only when you consistently get stat upgrades (HP+, MP+, Weight Limit+, etc.) from minibosses and fairy chests that you should consider NG++ (in your case).

I just got done reading a bit more on it, and it says that you randomly have a chance finding anything on any playthrough past the very first. It says most of them are more easily found in the dungeon and that you should find Calypso's compass and hunt down the treasure room when possible. So idk honestly, but it does seem like when you first start a playthrough you get one every time you beat a miniboss, it just gets progressively harder each time.

Mass Effect 1 - only if you plan on playing 2 and 3, which are both great
Kingdom Hearts - fuck no. The game is a mess, both in story and gameplay. Unbelievably overrated.
inFamous 2 - great game
TLOU - another great game.
Red Dead - thought it was good but overrated

EDIT: or Portal 2 co-op - as pete said, broken atm

The others I haven't played. If you're in the mood for some action go with Infamous 2. If you want an engaging story, TLoU.

If you haven't started the Mass Effect series yet, start with 1 and play through it. Probably in my top 5 of favorite game series all-time.

If you have played 2 and/or 3 before, you may be ok skipping it. I played it after 2 and still loved it, but if you don't love Mass Effect as much as I do you may not enjoy it that much. It's a little difficult to go back to after 2 and 3 gameplay-wise.

My favorite game on there is RDR. Infamous 2 is way high up on the list as well. God of War 3 was one of my favorites in that series as well. Brutal Legend was fun until it turned into a RTS game half way through. In case you didn't know, you can't plat that one anymore.

You shouldn't be. They do not stay there forever if you get enough plats. Look at mine. It does not show 10 and 20 anymore. Just 1, 50, 100, 150, etc...

Yeah I was getting blue prints, the stat upgrades, and now I'm getting just coins every time. I'm going to keep rune hunting at least on this play, and then move up to get the last blueprints.
