hate to interrupt all this womanizing talk, but i made one of those epic grilled cheeses gator posted yesterday

picture doesn't really do it justice, but it was delicious. i added pepperoni to mine and bacon to my wife's. she loved it. i'll report back later about my "treat". no videos though, she's camera shy :(

Thanks man but it's a personal choice. I'v got such a wild backlog on ps3 that I don't want to abandon at this point. I got the next gen system last time around and have tons of gamecube/ps2 games I never played. I am trying to burn down this backlog til it is respectable enough to move on to a ps4, hopefully with price cuts and years of ps+ freebies waiting for me. My cod clan is gonna abandon me when CoD AW comes out, but that will only help necessitate my playing of trophy games/backlog.

But my wife says, yeah go for it, ps4 fundraiser, lol.

and im totally down for free show/etc if any cags are ever on, we had ranges from 100-1500 people watching last night but we kept doing ticket shows. It was our first 3way with this chic so it was mostly just chilln anyway. We were eating toasted ravs naked for like 20 mins at 3am cuz we got hungry, lol. n yeah we do shows crazy late when kids are asleep, last nite she texted us at 1am with 'wyd?' n we chilled from 1-6am. Then i had to wake kids up for school.

I would have helped out with the streaming, but I have a Vita game to play instead of something on the PS4.  Glad Derek is helping out.

As far as black licorice, it is disgusting just like anything else with anise in it.  Quite a few breweries seem to want to put that shit in their Imperial Stouts now.

I've been bad that way with the past 2 generations, slowly acquiring all the games I am interested in at a low price, and then moving onto the next generation leaving a 1/3rd of them unplayed. Like an athlete who keeps eating the same amount of food and gets fat because they aren't working out anymore, I've never really recalibrated my game buying pace since I left college and don't have as much time to play. It's even worse this past generation since you don't even have to go to the effort to go to a store and rummage around for deals, they drop in your lap from newegg, amazon, etc. and PSN digital deals, and that's on top of the PS+ games.

I just found a brand new factory sealed Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 for the Xbox 360 I didn't know I had.  Trying to decide if I should sell it or not.

I need to get a memo when these things go live, probably would make insomnia not so bad.

Bad lead in, but....in regard to the whole womaninzing thing having effects on people's real life. I find this very similar to the violence in video games argument. I think blaming video games for violence or sexual deviance is an easy way out and using games as a scapegoat. I mean, it would be nice to see stronger female leads, but in worlds where men are the heroes, everything is going to be idealized around what a classic hetero male would want (women, money, fame, etc.). Video games are a creative art and as a result are products of the ideas of the creator. I think the only way around this will be having more female game developers/creative directors that can get their ideas into a playable form that can be properly created from their "idealized" perspective.

I think games are games and can't be taken too seriously.

And black licorice is disgusting.

 
If you guys wants some streaming Im always open to stream some TLOU MP on PS4 for yall. Or Destiny when that comes out. Streaming is kinda fun. Just let me know when yall are bored. Tyler already does that well.

Here's a poll idea,: "Have you ever actually won anything by taking the survey at the bottom of a receipt?" I think in at least half the stores its a false carrot and they never actually have a drawing for the prizes.

I always assume any drug that rots you to a serious degree (this one, meth, heroin generally, coke sometimes, others) are simply 'that' good. As in, the high is so solid and so addictive, that as long as you're on it you don't really give a fuck about this world. And then as your real world life falls apart, and your body rots, it's all the more reason to keep pumping shit into your body... keep the high till you die, because at some point rehab isn't much of an option.

I mean, essentially, that's what all addictive substances do, even tv and gaming. The addiction, by its very nature, causes people to forgo other elements of their life (health, family, whatever). Obviously, in moderation most things aren't an issue. But I remember hearing people losing their families over Evercrack, and obviously some gamers have given up on their physique and/or social life. So people just turn more inward, get depressed, spend even more time with their addiction... it's a vicious cycle.

clearly not all gamers have this issue... it's just the same cycle with most bad addictions. Once you're swept up in it, it seems better than the alternative (living a more normal, healthy life). I mean, heck, once a drug has eaten off your cheek and your right arm... does getting sober really sound like a good idea?
