PSN Off-Topic - Happy Thanksgiving Chumps and Chumpettes!

I love dancing on Destiny. Also I quit the clan because there is barely any ps3 players, cept maybe rpg and he doesn't have the game yet. There are a few trophies where you need to beat strikes/raids with your full fireteam of clan members. Maybe if we can get some ps3 players on there I can join back up. Peace all

also im tearing it up on crucible but can't seem to get that kill all 3 classes without dieing, argh.

Surprisingly I got the 3 class kills in a game of Rumble. It think it's a bit harder since a majority of players are on Warlock and Hunter. I got the 100 kill trophy for those a while back and I still don't have it for titans.

Just Cause 2: the only game where you can be Spider-Man by "web-slinging" the ground.

30% total completion, 27.5 hours played--I'm finally ahead of the 1%-per-hour curse.

 
Finally plat Rayman Legends, lol. I think it's like a 7-8 month gap since the first trophy. Shoulda got it ages ago but I really did skip a shitload of those daily challenges.

Have you killed any of the generals yet? I think they are the one thing that has a noticeable change on the percentage IIRC.

I just want just cause 3 already. That might be the first day one ps4 game for me. Even though it's probably not out for another year or two.

Ya, I couldn't figure out why it wasn't working either. You click a word, then the share for rewards button. It will ask you to login, then it tells you click the facebook share. But the facebook share isn't clickable on that screen. So you have to click X to back out, and then you see below the earn rewards button which looks exactly like the one pictured on the previous screen, but clicking it does nothing but share it on facebook for "free". You have to click the earn rewards button again, and this time it will bring up a facebook share options. Allow THAT one, and you will get your points.

 
Im not even streaming, im too busy gettin my guy to lvl 20. Besides everyone is streaming Destiny anyway, its not cool to stream it now

I just finished downloading a phantom from rpg, so that's at least 3 of us on ps3 lol.

 
That jack nicolson gif reminds me, has anyone noticed how Leonardo Dicaprio is starting to look like him/turn into him?

Oh and Velo, I'll eventually be on Destiny on PS3. So that'll make 4 of us on PS3.

 
Okay, Destiny is pretty cool, but I'm confused on a couple things.  When I see people wandering around when I choose missions, are they just in that open world mode?  Also, are loot boxes pretty rare?  Should I be exploring for them?  They seem very tiny.  I've only done the first three story missions and some side missions.

Also, how do I see the map in the tower?  I forgot.

You're right, although challenges add a good bit as well. From the trophy guide:

- Challenges add 0.10%
- Completing locations to 100% adds 0.03%
- Finding faction items adds 0.03%
- Resource crates add 0.01%
- Destroying military objects adds 0.005%
- Killing colonels adds 0.14%

 
Update: pharm showed up. He didn't sound like he was under the influence of pills, but maybe he's just good at hiding it after all these years.
 
I have had a lot of, shall we say, practice. 

It was fun, but old man chewy had to go to bed around midnight. 

With kids, wives, headaches and bed times getting in the way we will probably finish Dead Nation in a couple months.

I actually invited you to a party at 10 PM, but you never responded. I think this is another one of these weird PSN things. You were on PS3 and I was on PS4, and so I don't think a party works at all for that, but the PS4 lets me send the invite anyway. I think it's just goes *poof*. I only realized that was what probably happened around 11, and then I sent a message - that went through. So, yeah, we didn't have as much time as I'd hoped.

Yeah, you said you were not going to make it until 1030 or later so I was just "playing" Under Defeat until I saw your message on psn around 1045? or so. Thats when I finished up and shut off the PS3.

Then I had to "reset" my PS4. This has happened twice now where I leave the PS4 on standby like normal, but the next day the system is off completely. I have to unplug the power cable and plug it back in then connect the controller with the USB to the PS4 to turn it on. Then of course the PS4 says it didnt shut down the correct way bla bla bla....

Is this due to power surges possibly? Our power flickers a lot during the summer due to thunderstorms etc.

My TV, PS3 and PS4 are all on the same power strip too...only the PS4 has had this issue. I may need to use the ole google.

I'm getting a kick out of all the current and former athletes that are now "embarrassed" by the NFL. They weren't upset by Ray Rice punching his future wife but they are absolutely appalled at Godell's handling of said incident. Everyone's got to have those internet points for being on the popular side of an issue. The world is really starting to annoy the hell out of me.

I have not had that happen exactly. I have seen the it didn't shut off properly message, but I believe that was do to a power outage (I can't be entirely sure, though). But I haven't needed to unplug/plug back in and connect the controller via cable. That is strange. I was able to power up via the controller like normal.

Of course it will, since it is the first Thursday night (non-holiday) NFL game on a major network. If you are implying more people will be watching due to this scandal, I am not so sure about that. At least I am tired of hearing all the ifs and maybes about what might have happened in New York. I assume others are as well.

 
So based on the fact that the "Happy Birthday Dreamcast" thread is STILL on the front page two days later, I'm going to assume that moderation on this site is officially dead. 

Someone should post a random stupid thread and see how long it lasts.
