I love beer, especially high-gravs, btw. I usually don't just drink a 6-pack or anything, though--I'm more into picking up mixed singles or going to a bar where I can go from one draft to another based on what kind of taste I'm looking for. I also really like scotch. I just haven't been drinking much lately while I'm being a bit more strict on my diet. Looking forward to picking it back up, though.
Rank your beers from highest to lowest number of Therms please.

I had a few issues with Apple iPhones. iTunes, didn't work on Verizon (at the time), and the closed eco system. So I switched to Verizon and an Android phone. I am due for an upgrade and 99% sure I am sticking with Android. I really like the new Moto X even though the battery isn't removable.
Verizon blows for just about everything there is but their network. My god their network is the tits.

currently on a htc one (m7 gpe) that i use on att currently via pre-paid.

Been meaning to give tmobile a try but just havent taken the time to mess with switching.

iOS is intuitive and it works. Syncs with nearly everything from my car to receiver to PS3 etc. That may sound gimmicky but it be awesome doe. I also think the hardware is very durable. Never had to replace one prematurely. Picking mine up later. :)

Also, removable storage is slower than onboard for anything sizable and many apps won't use it without some rooting and fiddling. Apps want their content encrypted and on the device...so SD cards are pointless in this regard. With cloud storage and streaming I don't see the need for inordinate amounts of space anymore. And who the heck replaces their phone battery?? Just my opinion doe. #nobait Like what you like. Co-exist. Go Android.

Eh. I don't really keep track of stuff like that. I just always go for new stuff and will try just about anything. Typically stouts I'm least interested in, though.

For scotch I really like Laphroaig. I'm a big fan of the peaty flavor of Islay scotches.

I've noticed a number of Android phones of different models with battery issues. Replaceable batteries are definitely a need there. I'm sure iPhones have the issue at least to some extent but I've never come across it myself or even heard of somebody I know having battery issues.

Have you had Oban?

Got a bottle as a gift, not cracked yet.

From KY which means I drink bourbon and nothing else for liquor.

I have never had a bad trip. It's all about setting and pre gaming. If you are in a bad mood or prone to psychological issues or whatev, then yeah you def shouldn't trip. and only bad rolls we have ever had was my girl twice has taken something at a rave and it's not pure mdma, it's prob methy or some other crap, but that's only because it wasn't pure molly. and she just felt shitty and agitated. Mush/Acid/Molly have always been kind to me when I know in advance im gonna be having a party and when they are the real deal. We did molly every week one summer and it was fantastic. The people who say not to have sex on molly have probly never done it. We used to hear about oh if you do it then it will be amazing but you will never enjoy sex again, that is false information. Best acid we ever took was some starbursts this waitress chic gave us at pasta house on her birthday. I was hard for 6 hours tower of power and it was a great time. Too each their own tho.

n yeah, i guess wine/beer isn't too bad on chix, but usually it's girls that are chugging rum/vodka and then get all drama and want to fight, lol.

Iv been making some mush/weed tea every fri/sat night for the past few weeks and it hits me like a train. It is fantastic. Boil 3 cups water and 2 table spoons butter and stir in some herb for 30+ mins then quit boiling and toss in some mush and after sitting for 5 mins you pour through a coffee strainer. We drink it straight like that but you can even toss a teabag in for flavor. We go and hop in the shower after 45 mins and at that 1hour mark you go whoa. I am trying to stop smoking so much cuz I know that isn't healthy for you, so tea has been great lately. and I don't need to keep toking or have a mouth full of mush crap, just a few swigs of this warm brew and im good for a few hours.

tmi peace all. also got 2-3 new girls coming over this weekend. 18y/os. omg
I'm too scared to smoke now but that tea recipe sounds awesome, saving it for the future, thanks!

No, I've been really tempted to grab a bottle quite a few times. Always get something cheaper, though. Once I'm ready to start drinking again I'll probably grab a bottle.

Bourbon I find to be too sweet.

Yeah iphones never have battery problems. :whistle2:?

https://www.apple.com/support/iphone5-battery/
A specific run of batteries in one of their models doesn't invalidate that the iPhone line in general, in addition to the iPod Touch and iPod Classic lines all have very good battery life and longevity. Apple computers and tablets also have great battery life as well. There have been OS issues that cause the batteries to drain faster and that has required patches, but I'm talking hardware here.

Yea apparently its like 75 plus I think, havent went to a store to price it out.

Agree with that, cant argue the fact that iphones generally get great battery life for the normal user.

where the battery swap comes in is for real power users. Real estate agent for example who is constantly on their phone, on the move. Very easy to just swap a precharged battery when yours is low.

If there wasnt a need for batter swapping, iphones wouldnt have all those mophie pack things that people use.

Zodiac looks amazing. Was mad at square for putting type-0 on ps4(mainly cause I didn't have one at the time), but this makes up for it. Glad they're interested in the vita too. Reminds me a lot of fft which makes it an easy day one.

Kinda bummed the vendor has the same stuff as last week, but I'm still gonna buy a bunch of stuff. Now I can get my equips from the vanguard, too. Hopefully I can get to at least 27 while I'm off tomorrow.

Then you probably should stop using the term high-gravity beers. I know bars and even stores use that to mean high ABV beers, but it is not really the same thing. You can have a beer start out as high gravity and finish as high gravity as well, but then the ABV is likely not very high and it still has a lot of residual sugars.

High-gravity really tells you nothing about a beer except that it is likely expensive due to a large amount of malt used in the process. That is just a bit of a pet peeve of mine.

Well you didn't really give any examples by posting this:

"I've noticed a number of Android phones of different models with battery issues."

At least I can point to an apple phone having battery issues. I would think if apple only had a specific run of batteries go bad the same could be said for some of the android models as well.

Apple computers do have great battery life as well as their tablets, but my current phone goes for a full 2 days of heavy use without charging so I'm good. I like Apple products as I said I own both a macbook air and a mac mini but in the phone department they are lacking and over-rated. They make you pay way too much for little things that should be standard now starting with 32GB of memory for the base model based on the IOS8 upgrade alone. Not to mention a great program like garageband for iphone or ipad taking up a sizeable chunk of space and that's before actually creating with it.

Uh...I'm not sure why you're equating a beer being high-grav with having the taste of a stout. It's the stout taste I'm not a fan of. I don't give a shit what's in the beer itself.

All stouts would be high gravity beers, and you said you like high gravity beers but then said you do not like stouts.  Not all will have the same taste since some will be fermented out more than others and be less sweet, but they would all be considered high gravity since they start out as that.

...why do I need to give specific examples for a general statement?

But sure, here are the phones that my family and I have needed replacement batteries for:

Galaxy S3

EVO 4G

EVO Shift 4G

LG Spectrum

I'm really not sure why you're trying to argue why I'm wrong about the experiences I've had with phone and computer batteries in my personal life.

Ok but you COULD replace them right? apple battery takes a shit you are SOL as you cant replace it by simply opening it up and putting in a new one...

I'm not arguing you had bad experiences I'm arguing that iphones never have problems. I've had a lot of people tell me their battery life sucks. My 4s was awful before I moved on, and I couldn't simply replace it with a new one.

...I was commenting on the style of beer as a matter of taste. I don't know much about the mechanics of how beer is made, but you can't tell me that a high-grav stout has anywhere close to the same taste of a high-grav IPA, for example. That stouts are high-grav by default is completely irrelevant. Saying I must like stouts because I like high-gravs is like saying "Because ducks are a type of bird, all birds must be ducks!" which clearly is not true.

Yeah, not...really sure what to make of that. :whistle2:k
Kind of interesting that they mention Guild Wars style multiplayer. I play GW2 pretty regularly, but it doesn't seem like that would be a good system for multiplayer in a portable game? Unless the battles are pretty frequent it sounds like multiplayer could be kinda boring...

I'm saying you should say I like high ABV IPAs (or just say Double or Imperial IPAs) instead of saying you like high gravity beers. That is all. One is descriptive and the other is way too wide open to mean anything. I was using the stout example merely as a type of high gravity beer you said you do not like to point out how useless the term high gravity is.

Bars tend to use it and I think it causes confusion among many people getting into good beer, so I like to point out its uselessness in hopes more people will stop using the term. That is all.

So I just got home from getting my wisdom tooth pulled. No pain killers yet since I got this gauze soaking up all the blood.  I'm a little uncomfortable from getting it pulled but it was nothing like others told me.

Good, your not a pussy. I had all 4 of mine pulled at once. I only had a couple percs that I took over many days.

fun fact - same leak from tgs that showed re:rev2 on vita showed ff type 0 on vita also. I can't believe they'd make the same mistake twice, but I guess if one ends up being true maybe both will be.

Damn Tyler for making a poll that gets people arguing about beer for the millionth time.  Why don't you just make "Which is the best football team?" the next poll?

Even if they are on Vita, do not be surprised if they are Japan only and are not localized. There is a much stronger Vita market there.

I'd much rather have a glass of wine or a well made cocktail than a beer.

There's such a huge craft beer scene down here, I've just never gotten a taste for it.

I don't see that flash sale live on the web store.

I had all mine pulled at the same time too when I was 19 or so. I apparently didn't handle waking up from the gas very well since I smacked a nurse and said something like 'leave me alone mom'.
