Basically premise is market has to drop 25% if you are in the 25% tax bracket (30k-89k) due to the fact that 401k is pretax and therefor drops your tax liability. Unless market drops 25% you havent "lost" any real money yet.

Guys, remember that "investment of a lifetime" I mentioned a couple weeks ago (a lump sum payment on my 3.5% mortgage that I made)? I've just been asked to be President and CEO of Goldman Sachs due to my unmatchable investment prowess.

DS4 does not auto shut off, will just stay on unless you put playstation tv into standby mode or shut off completely, at least all I could figure out.

Did you trying plugging in a headset to the port on the DS4 and if so did it work?

If I take my gold headset and plug cable into it and the ds4 think that would work?

Have the really cheap earpiece thing that came with the ps4 somewhere but finding it might be a pain.

It may or may not be lost inside my recliner.

No experience with the Gold headset but if BB or Amazon has a decent sale on it between now and Christmas I think I am going to grab one finally.  

I have a cheap Rocketfish one that BB was selling. It works ok but nothing great.  

Don't go crazy looking for the cheap earpiece.  Just curious if would work or not I could see me using it this way if I get an Vita TV.

The last several times I've been to this kind of dumpy Mall, where there is a Bass Pro shop (and a casino), there has been a huge pickup, probably with a gun rack installed but maybe I'm imagining that, driving on the wrong side of the road. Next time I see this I will call them Bass Retards.

Define decent? Was on sale qutie a bit in the last few months for around 70ish I think.

Bought mine right after came out from AWD for 70. Well worth the money.

I'm also doing primarily melee and I'm swimming in ammo right now. Even killed the first invisible guy with a hatchet and the fat guy with fists. Hit hit run. Hit hit run.

No chapter select is a steaming slap in the face though. Is it 2005 again?

edit - glad to see that the bomb disarm slivers get smaller. jesus christ what in the ever loving hell.

it's chintzy as hell but doable. granted only when there's one dude, the camera does make it tough AND it looks stupid, but it works. you almost have to start running away during the second hit. it helps that you can survive one hit if it goes south and then kill the dude and stand there and recover health back to where you can tolerate another hit. I imagine that luxury will be gone soon.

a dodge mechanic would've gone a long ways. but from the loading screen tips it seems the goal was to make melee useless except as an escape mechanic. so basically the opposite of re4-6 where it's a crowd control/ammo conservation mechanism.

Yeah melee was intentionally nerfed all to hell. Which makes me shocked that you guys have the patience for it.

I don't even have the patience to shoot them to death sometimes. Seriously, 4+ headshots for some enemies. Almost no enemies go down with just 1 headshot. First thing Stotch pointed out when he watched my stream.

this is something that just has to change as you upgrade. I'm not expecting to plow through everything with one bullet, but eventually they're going to throw more shit at you than you can handle and there's not enough traps to disarm to survive just off the crossbow. I dunno. I think I'm ready to get back to playing and stop analyzing it. simm's right, there's still like 2/3 of the game left to contend with. a LOT is going to change. I've enjoyed chapter 4 the most so far so that's promising.

You guys playing Evil Within will love ch5 and the dynamite assholes, especially trying to beat it without your buddy taking any damage for the trophy. My daughter just saw me do that and I kept yelling cuz those damn tnt jerks. good stuff.

Drive Club has been a car wreck of a release (Did you guys see what I did there?  It's funny because I'm saying a racing game ended up being a car wreck.  Like the cars in the game wrecked each other.  Do you guys get it?)

I was able to set one of them off and kill a guy with it by throwing a bottle near it (I missed actually hitting it but oh well). But I can't say for certain if it was the bottle or the guy just running by it that did it.

I'll return the game today and go back to playing RE6. Probably never go back to TEW. Just not my type of game these days.
