Managed to get some gaming time in tonight, woo. Sat down and played the story mode in Injustice. It was good, but I feel like that story was used for one of the animated movies already.

And I suck at fighting games.

Actually yes. She is stacked. And just my type, just a tiny bit curvy but not super chunky. I gotta figure out to transition from boss role to that role in the next 8 days. It also doesn't help that I suck ass with women.

Also she might be mormon which would suck.
Just make that clear to her, and you're in there.

Edit: Ahh, the squirrel beat me to this one.

hey a new poll! I understand why, but it would've been super interesting to have the votes public.

I went to college for like 7 actual attendance years for a bach degree. Really. I'd go for ~3 semesters, completely lose interest, quit going to class and doing my work, drop out for a couple years, then go back somewhere else. Repeat. Changed my major a couple of times. Started at 18, graduated at 31.

You didn't ask during the interview???

I asked a Thai girl out once. That was a weird experience. It was Halloween and she invited me over for her family's party; we went over there and it was a big deal with a ton of people. It was her older brother's place and there was legit Thai food. Everybody was really nice but the girl just drank crazy amounts and ended up puking drunk in the bathroom. She avoided me after that. Unfortunate, because she was crazy hot.

Other than that...I slept with a Japanese prostitute once. She was pretty cute.

As far as attraction...yeah, that's definitely true. We all have types. I love white girls with a bit of curve, generally. Black girls generally don't catch my interest, though a veeery few of them do. Asian and Hispanic and Middle-Eastern girls definitely do it for me, though.

I don't recognize half the names that are sending me requests for the leaderboard, but if they act like they know me or the thread I just go ahead and accept them.  Although there was one dickface yesterday that addressed me as "Professor" in his request, so a big "suck my ass" goes out to him.  I seemed to have misplaced that one.

If the leaderboard starts filling up with names that aren't posting in here any longer, just shoot me a message and I'll delete them.

It's looking like I may end up grabbing Tony Hawk HD and Master Reboot unless someone wants to talk me out of them. I know Stotch played Master Reboot, but I can't remember; did you like it? Any others here else played it?

I don't think he's being racist

He just knows what he is attracted to. While he did say they smell like curry, and this is a stereotype, but so far for me it's held true, they also probably don't fit with what he likes.

It's like me, I've never been attracted to an Asian or Indian person. I have a type and They don't fulfill that type and in the rare occurrence they did I still wouldn't go lit with them because a. I'm sorry Indian accents annoy the fuck out of me and b. most Asians have a body type I don't like. Is it racist? No, I just like something they don't offer.or take my husband, he's not attracted to Asian woman or the majority of white girls. Why? Because he likes long legs and booty, which for the most part those two ethnicities don't have and if they did there are still some things I know he wouldn't like.

It's l just human nature and attraction really.
:) I always say that if they can't use your comb, don't bring 'em home. Nah, but in all seriousness, everyone has preferences. Like/love/fuck who you want. I only think it's problematic when we believe certain types of people can't be attractive or, conversely, fetishize a certain group.

Here's a great Brian Wilson documentary. Also if you never checked out Brian Wilson's "SMILE" than give that a listen and hear a genius.
Glad to see another fan. Thanks for this. Got in 30 minutes and will finish the rest later today. Crazy the stuff you can find on YouTube. And, yeah, I've been meaning to check out Smile.

Paying $20 for anything digital is a big no-no for me. Sets you up for major regret if it does go free. I agree with Breakfuss it seems doubtful that game would go free on PS+, but we've learned not to count anything out when it comes to PS+.

tl;dr $20 digital = NO!
Don't listen to him. There's no real difference in the mindset of buying between digital and physical. If you want two long JRPGs and are ready to play them now, do it. If they're just going to sit in the backlog for months, well, then I am sure they will be cheaper at some point so why not wait.

I had always planned to go straight to graduate school. When I got my undergraduate degree the choices were accepting a very good job offer or get about 50k in debt to get a graduate degree which would likely only mean 5k more per year to start.

That made it an easy decision to skip it at the time. Then laziness meant I did not bother going back to school to get a grad degree even with work willing to pay for it at that point.
I had to make the same decision with law school, glad I decided not to pursue that.

But if he wants to re-sell them later, he can't. So... yeah, real difference.

The Swapper is awesome. Puzzle game bliss. I just hope that this story pays off in some way and isn't some sort of "open for interpretation" garbage (I'm looking at you Braid.. and Limbo... and Transistor... and Journey... I could go on).

Well, with FFX/X-2 you can't resell X-2 really since X-2 is digital for Vita. OTOH sellers on Amazon have just the cart for X on sale for ~$20 used, so picking up the combo at ~$20 physical would give you almost 100% return plus you keep X-2 in the process.

Kinda sucks to be a Vita physical cart collector, though. Prices usually suck.

I don't know why that would stop you though, seriously. I'm white and I've dated a Mexican chick, a Filipino chick, and probably as many Black chicks as I have white chicks.
I have dated all races and colors except for a Indian (from India). That one race is still on my bucket list. I'm like the United Nations for women. I accept all race, creed, color and size. Probaley helps I have low standards and that I was a myspace whore in my youth

I don't know if anyone picked up on this, but road not taken's vita release is delayed with no eta due to technical issues. they're apparently still working on it though.

I'm not a big beatles fan either honestly, but there's a handful of songs that I do enjoy. I actually picked up beatles rock band a couple years back just so I could explore more of their catalog on the cheap to see if there was something I was missing. nope, still don't like a lot of it. yellow submarine and sgt pepper can burn in a hot blaze.

yeah Pete, if the Beatles were just a regular band I wouldnt "hate" them.  I only say that because so many people say they are "like the best evar" and I just dont get it.  I dont hear any of their songs and think, wow, what a great song.  I was eating lunch the other day with a buddy and some Beatles song comes on and he immediately says "wow, I LOVE this song!"  and I just wanted to puke.    I told him I was about to puke on his lunch.

on a side note, after getting to meet the batman arkham origins mp last night I'm curious - is it any fun when you play for real? has anyone played it for real? seems like it'd be kind of awful, but it could be fun in a really chaotic way with a full group.

What the fuck, guys? I never said I didn't like The Beatles. I said I didn't like Paul McCartney. I like The Beatles, but not his solo stuff.

And a big lol to Tyler saying I was trying to be edgy. Yeah because I'm the most edgy person here.

I dunno, I played about an hour and got like 6 of the 11 trophies. Now I'm sitting on top of a mountain for like 20 minutes for one more trophy, then I'll be done with it.

I can't imagine it would take me more than another hour to get the rest of the trophies, but I'm not going to bother with that.
Did you actually get to the end? It actually has one, but it's easy to miss how to get to it.

I didnt read that, but Paul McCartney is certainly one of the biggest douches ever.

I could see them being the best band ever for some people. I think the popularity is a mixture of:
- people genuinely liking their songs
- a lot of their songs being genuinely great/memorable/fun
- contextual greatness (i.e. innovation for the time)
- bandwagoning (people that just like it because everyone else does).

I'm listening to some shit on youtube now and it's pretty rad - I think I'm drawn more to the slow jam stuff than the hippie stuff - yesterday, hey jude, blackbird, let it be, etc.

fun fact - my dad had some weird ass watch from the 70s that played this quasi-chiptune version of hey jude in its entirety. I bet the fuck ing thing would be worth a mint if we could find it now.

nice that Ubisoft gives us 2 days warning for shutting down servers. wtf yo?

I guess that moved Call of Juarez the Cartel to the top of my backlog, at least for mp/online trophies.

Anyone have this and wanna boost later?

I like fool on the hill and Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.

Been there done that (all competitive maps) and lil big horn (win a round) can be done solo online.

If the controls were not so damn finicky, I could see it being fun. As is, I am not sure if I would care for it. If the aiming was tighter and it didn't have the wonky camera changes when you try to run, it might not be so bad. When you are Batman, it seems like it wants to be too smart about what you want to do.

Simmias put it well when we were doing some XP boosting before we all got started last night. He said, "I want it to be Assassin's Creed controls, but it just isn't."

Not only is he racist, he's also sexist.
Im not racist, I have dated/hooked up with a couple of women of color. Even hollered at a few black chicks but nothing ever came of that.

Not sexist, was pointing out that hiring one woman coach in the NBA is some sort of progress, right? (ie good thing. Im all for women being equal to men, hell my wife makes double what I make. Trying for that stay at home dad role.)

Easy dude. Just kidding.

In high school I couldn't stand the Beatles, but a few years ago I gave them another chance and fell in love. Probably my best change of heart about a band I have ever had.

Oh and as far as solo careers, the only one I really cared for was some of George Harrison's stuff, and a couple McCartney songs, but they were much stronger together than separate.

Iv only dated white chics, im boring. I partied with a black chic once during a 6sum, but idk if that counts. Multi Ethnic 3grrl bj with my redhead, a blonde and the black chic.  Partied with a tiny asian punk chic, but that was just one night also, nothing really special. I know lots of dudes crazy for asian girls, but iv never felt the urge. StL is pretty diverse, I should go out more...

Just as long as you reject one if it comes from starshadow aka QuantumMercury :whistle2:

Top added me to the leaderboard and Pete is the person immediately ahead of me in it.  He's 10k TT points ahead of me but 10k of the unweighted points behind me.  Stupid TT.
