I did not buy all those years at that sale. I had bought a couple cards earlier when I found them at a discount and then waited for the buy a year get 3 month promotions to stack with them.

I dont mind even buying plus at the normal $10-15 off. I was really obsessive about pinching every penny for a few years because of this site then I realized that I just need to take it easy and buy what I want if it makes me happy, regardless if its a few bucks extra here and there. This helped me get out of the absolutely ridiculous habit of buying every garbage game just because it was under $10 and actually pick up the games I want to play and enjoy, even day one. GCU has got me buying games day one again and I love it! Eff waiting. Buy, play, be happy. Lifes too short to overly stress bullshit like money. If youre a normal person who has a semblence of sense for money management then throwing some of it at hobbies or interests that give you joy isn't going to be the difference between a bright future and bankruptcy. I guess there are some people who get a rush on saving that extra 5 bucks for jumping through hoops, weirdos.

tldr - Live comfortably, treat yourself and those you love, be happy.

I feel bad for the crew... being wedged in their with Drive Club and Forza... seemed like a cool idea and the videos I have seen have been pretty cool. then again I am not a racing fan overall.

 
So I go to lunch (yes it was delicious, went to Japanese steak house) and I see people talking about my crotch. I knew someone would notice but didn't realize that someone wouldn't be Tyler.

Agreed. I faith in Ubisoft and some of the stuff in The Crew seems pretty solid. I think true fans of the racing genre are pretty lucky and will most likely get their console exclusive and The Crew. The Crew may not be a day one purchase... but still.

Why do they keep making Muramasa DLC? Didn't anyone tell Vanillaware the game isn't that good?

I finished Trine 2 last night, and by finished I mean the main story...didn't even unlock level 20 and no I won't platinum it...I've had my fill of Trine 2. Now I'll be smart and get back to MGS4.

I don't think you played Trine 2 correctly--you're supposed to get the plat and not finish the main story, not the other way around.

 
Finished the lowest priority game in my backlog, which might mean that it was my highest game on my priority list? Not really sure. Anyway, Mahjong Tales: Ancient Wisdom, is now complete and deleted.

The problem is the only two I would really be interested in are GTA 5 and Sleeping Dogs. And I already played them on PS3. I might be tempted to play them again though with shiny new graphics.

I wouldn't have bothered with the plat on the PS4 version either, so I don't blame you there. Takes like 2-3 hours to plat the PS3 version, so that's what I was talking about previously.

Simply saying, there are a lot of games... I am in the same boat though... I have to get my sports fix and am for sure buying Madden and NHL... then I really want GTA 5, Shadow of Mordor, and Sleeping dogs... too many!! Some will have to wait for Christmas!

 
I found a bunch of random games for $5 at Kmart last night on a separate clearance table.

Metal Gear Rising (PS3 & 360)

Diablo III (PS3)

Halo Anniversary (360)

Mass Effect 3 (360)

 
Catching up:

-nice to hear the watch dogs patch as I loved the gang hideouts. Game is back on my radar at sub $20.

-only got 1 year of PS+ on Black Friday. Had 2 years already (one with the PS3 I bought last summer, one from a previous BB deal) and there are gonna plenty of chances to get it at $40.
 
Just got another $5 off my white PS4 controller, Newegg is selling them for $49.99.  CAG Twitter feed coming through!

I'm good on Plus til mid 2016 I believe.  I only got two cards last year.  

No way they'll hit $30 again this year.  Everyone on the net seems so sure it's going to happen.  I can't tell you how many times I've seen some version of "Oh they are $30 every Black Friday, just wait and pick one up then." posted on reddit or elsewhere.

1) They hit $30 ONCE on Black Friday, and that was last year.  Before that they've never been cheaper except for glitches.

2) They're not going to be $30 again on Black Friday.  I'd put money on that.

yeah, with a new console that is established and everyone seemingly buying in, I dont see why plus would be on such a discount again this year either.

 
I bought a bunch of Plus cards when they were $30, I think I'm good until about 2018. Knew it wouldn't go to waste.

I keep hoping they will have another one of those "extra months when you buy or renew PS+ on PSN" promos but they've probably phased those out in favor of just having sales on PS+ cards.

 
Big news guys. Saw my first bear in my area today after a year of tying to lure one into the yard. I went out to the grocery store and he's just standing in the road a little bit from my driveway. Hope he stops by the house later when I'll be able to take a picture.
