When I finish Second Son I will probably move on to Merc Kings.  Unless Tyler or someone else wants to play Dead Nation.  Everyone will probably be playing Destiny then though.

For someone fast, it's possible to complete in a sub 40 hour run. I clocked in about 44, but that was after helping friends with their own playthroughs.

Yeah I'll be out of the game for like 3 weeks (2 weeks without a PS4 and then probably a week on Destiny) but if you haven't played Dead Nation by then I'm definitely down.

 
Looks like the PS+ list will be announced tomorrow, in EU at least.  NA and EU have been synced up pretty nicely at this point so I assume we'll be hearing tomorrow as well.

Gotta thing Velocity 2X is a shoe-in, right?  They had another post last week that had no mention of price...

If it is Velocity 2X I'll be able to play it on my Vita at least. Other game will probably be from the back catalog. Maybe Awesomenauts or Stealth Inc?

But I hope it isn't Velocity. It doesn't seem like a heck of a lot changed from the first game based on what we've seen so far.
 
Martin Freeman is in Fargo?  I love that dude, maybe I should watch that show.  The movie never did anything for me.

Also, damn the Emmy's love Allison Janney.  Six Emmys?!??!  I mean, she probably deserved all of them for her time on the West Wing but she's gotten 2 more since then!

Well I hope YOU step on a rusty nail too. And i hope it's black.

The only thing that makes me think Velocity 2X isn't going to be on plus at launch is that they seem to be doing a lot to try to promote it. I wouldn't think they'd try so hard if they were going to be giving it away. But I do hope it is free.

I wouldn't mind awesomenauts (even though I have it on ps4) or stealth inc, but that would be kind of lame since the ps3 versions of both of them have been free in the past, I think. Maybe we'll finally get flower!

The entrant decides what category they want to enter, True Detective took their shot to go for the more prestigious drama category, and lost. I think people must have just been caught up in the hype of True Detective as there was nothing else good on at the time it aired. I rented it when it came out on DVD and was pretty disappointed, the acting was good, but the writing was pretty weak (and apparently borderline plagiarized). Given that I think S2 can only be a disappointment, much like every season of American Horror Story has been worse than the previous season. It's also why I am prepared for the inevitable disappointment of Fargo S2.

At first it doesn't seem like a heck of a lot changed, but once you're into it a little, you see that it's changed a damn good amount for the better.
 
I only made it about 3 or 4 episodes into Breaking Bad. I'm wondering if I should just skip season 1 and start with season 2. It started out promising, but after a few more episodes it just seemed OK. Maybe it gets better later?

Ugh that first season.

I really did like most of Breaking Bad, but it's not a show I'll ever need to watch through again. Especially having to get through that first season again. Jesus.

Opening sucks. It's all about Walt's shit life. Season one has a few badass scenes, but a lot of it is he and Jessie fucking up in really stupid but realistic ways. It's just setting the stage for what happens later and the character progression from there.

I watched the movie for the first time just before the show premiered in case I needed to know anything from it (there are a few small connections), it didn't do anything for me either, but the show was great. Come into the show as blind as possible for max enjoyment.
