Yep.. this is the reason why.

I love the self checkout at the grocery store assuming there is nobody there. That is because I know I can operate it and get the hell out. If all of them are taken, it is a roll of the dice to see if there is at least one person on the right side of the intelligence bell curve so that there will be an open slot in the next 5 minutes. If people can't scan a bar code and put an item in a bag how in the fuck are they going to be able to order food.

 
Pizzeria Uno locations around us have a little thing on your table that let's you order food, drinks, and pay your bill right there. There just needs to be someone to bring it out to you. And they have a register at the front for people who use cash. At most stores now, you can do self checkout. Other restaurants you can just order online and pick it up. I understand we have people who need jobs, but the idiots need to wake up and realize we're very very close to just letting robots and machines do all this stupid shit for us. I wouldn't be surprised if some company like Mcdonalds has already found a way to automate their restaurants 100%, but won't do it simply because of the bad PR they'd get.
 
Sublime pack for Rocksmith is pretty sweet. This will be the first DLC I've bought for that in like a year.  Now I just need to stop sucking at guitar and I should be all set.

Let Obama make min wage 15/hr and see if those dont start magically appearing at Mcdonalds overnight.

They might cost too much now, but not when you all of a sudden double your employee expense.

I, for one, welcome our new robot overloads.

thats exactly why I want them on PS3. I've been waiting for a PS4 remaster announcement, but that doesnt seem to be coming anytime soon. And I did just get 2 PSN cards for half off with that Kongregate coupon frezny...

 
Tried to download Velocity 2x at lunch but the wi-fi wasn't cutting it. Feel like I'm already behind the 8 ball.

I played some "The Amazing Spider-Man" on the Vita. I know it's a direct port and it has some issues but it's still pretty impressive they jammed it on the handheld, makes me long for the bizarro alternate reality where we get triple AAA Vita game releases.

 
I think the skill level needed for this game is above my level. This is some serious 2bit runner stuff going on here to multitask. I played twewy and all but that was years ago ;)

Did you buy that digital? I have never seen a cart version. Surprised Gamefly does not even have it.

 
A friend asked if I was interested in playing Army of Two: Devil's Cartel with him so I pulled the trigger on that.  I thought it was a FPS for some reason.  The videos I watched make it look like it should be worth the ~$5 for some co-op fun.

Thoughts on American McGee's Alice? I've got MR for PC but haven't played the original. Not sure if it's cool to skip straight to MR or if I'll be missing much.

Yeah I bought it when it was on sale at $20. It's much more than I usually spend on anything digital but it was kind of splurge, I have a soft spot for Spidey, and I'm behind on my Spidey games in general so I said fuck it and bought it. I haven't run into the sound glitches or any of that yet but I just finished the first chapter so far.

I think I'm skipping all sales this week. I want to start putting a better dent in my PS3 backlog so at some point I may have a chance of being exclusive to the PS4. Concerning games like Manhunt, Bully, and the like why aren't PS2 games on Vita? Come on Sony stop bitch slapping us!

 
Part of the reason lower paying service industry jobs like restaurants, bank tellers, etc. are so insidious is they very often do not offer set schedules. You are basically on call whenever the employer schedules you with one week or two week notice (depending how far in advance they publish schedules) which makes it impossible to take up a secondary part time job to supplement income. Then you have those asshole companies who cut all the employees hours to under 30/week to circumvent ACA contribution requirements while ALSO not having set schedules which squeezes income even more. Either offer set schedules so that they can supplement their income with another job or pay them more for their on-call status.

Okay? Which is why you should only work there if you are in high school or as a temporary job until you get something you really want etc.

 
Alice and DP are tempting for me, but will definitely hold off. Surprised no one mentioned SSX, that's a pretty fun game especially for the price.
