I love how we are so used to people being nose deep in their phones that everyone does this during meetings now. I have meetings every day even in conference rooms where anyone who isnt talking is looking at their phones.

Which is great for people like Tyler to goof off instead of doing actual work.

Anyone here pick up the original Silent Hill while it was on sale? If so, I have a few questions:

Is it playable on the Vita by downloading to PS3 and transferring over?

Is the game complete shit these days and best left in the past, where I can remember it fondly?

I'm getting awfully tempted to use part of the Amazon gift card I got last Xmas for the Lords of Shadow Collection package. Seems a decent deal and I have been jonesing for some hack n slash monster action. Too maaaany gaaaaames

Yes, you can play SH1 on Vita using the PS3 transfer method.

I've not played the game so can't comment. I've read that the controls have not aged well, though.

It doesn't give you any extra games. It just unlocks the ability for other games that you already own. Besides, once you play the PS4, your backlog will get shorter even if you dont play the PS3 backlog. So it is a win-win.

I vaguely remembered talk of it being a disappointing sequel at release so I didn't work too hard to get a copy in the sale, especially since I still don't have the first game yet.

One Problem with this... Vig is a tin foil hat wearing type. Will he avoid giving them his contact info?

Yeah, I love how using your phones/tablets during meetings has basically become acceptable, it's a wonderful thing. I mean, it's possible all those people on their phones are responding to emails or doing other work. But I'm 99% sure they're all just looking at cat pictures on the internet.

I was on mine a lot more in today's meeting than I normally would have been because the PixDev being here was really cool.

Wow, screw gamefly. Just jumped 5 games down my queue to send sacred 3. Somehow skipped over a game that's supposed to be available now, and a game with medium availability. Might just send this right back to see what they send me next.

About those daily trophies, you indeed only need to be in that top 10 / 100 at the end of one of your runs, you do not need to hold the spot for any amount of time!

That happens on rare occasion. I think they try to turn around games that come back in, and if it is close enough to the top of your list and just came in, they send that out to you. You can play tricks with it and do the hold for my top game thing if your top game is available now. Just realize if you leave it as that and it isnt available, you will be waiting longer than usual.

Where in 13 are you stuck? That's a tough one with the fight in the beginning, and then the boats in the open, and then the fight in the storm.

 
Wait, did the pix the cat devs really refer to our thread as a gold mine? If they are at our level of fuck ed up and twisted, they will have my full support if they release any DLC or future games that I'll get on day one.
