One thing that is beyond irritating is that I can't customize the keyboard controls. Seriously? These guys are PC centric devs and they don't even give some basic customization to their users? It's a good thing that this game massively appeals to my child like intellect so much that I will overlook slights like this, refusals to give us release dates for console versions and it not having the word Madden anywhere in the title.

This should be interesting. I wonder if it'll have the same list as what's available on PS3 now. I haven't actually looked at that list in months, though, because my PS Now experience was pretty mediocre.

 
Man I can't get past level 21 in the main area in Pix. Let alone these fancy labs and desserts and nostalgia lands. Yall some good players.
 
I am not too good at Pix. Haven't even unlocked Desert. It's fun, though.

The Vita d-pad works well.

*whew* I think that's enough Pix for tonight. I'm up to Lab 40 (still can't figure that one out) with all but 3 or so of them Bonus-ed, and I've gotten the Flower Bonus for the first 22 Nostalgia levels (holy crap, are those cute). It seems incredibly difficult to get 2 million points in Arcade (the highest I've gotten is just under 1.5 million), but I'll keep trying.

5 more nostalgia levels to perfect and then I'm done with those. My fingers are dead though so I think that's all for tonight. Really surprised by how much I am enjoying Pix

It was cheesy but fun. I dislike Danielle Panabaker in everything, so I'm hoping she's not as unappealing as she usually is. The whole secrets thing (the "sister" dating the partner, the Flash keeping his flashiness secret from the "sister") is also worrying because that's just about the shittiest thing to have in a show and always ruins things. It completely ruined Smallville because of the constant shit they had to pull to keep his secret, and the secret caused tons of stupid drama and problems and Lex Luther's downfall and enmity as a result.

I found a coupon in my Gamestop account this morning that I don't plan on using, but I don't know if anyone here would be interested: Get a PS4, digital copy of The Last of Us (I assume this is Remastered), and 6 months of PS+ for $399.99.

Isn't "superhero hides super stuff from loved ones except for maybe one best friend" what the whole superhero world is mostly built on? That and fancy powers. But the hiding bit has been around forever. Smallville didn't invent it.
 
Finally got my trade in done. Hopefully drive club is up when I get home later.

Forgot about pix needing leaderboards, probably shouldn't play that without a connection. Same reason I don't play pinball. Both would be perfect games to play on break too.

Unless you really want to be on the leaderboards for everything, don't worry about being connected until you play the daily mode.
 
I played the Daily Challenge on PS4 last night and I saw some graphical glitches. Sometimes spelunky guy was invisible until I moved slightly. I then played a few rounds of regular play and didn't see it again. Did anyone else run into that? Also, I did awful, but it was worth it, seeing Tyler's ghost… killed by a skeleton. I watched Tyler's replay afterward (I hope you can't watch DC replays until after you've played it, but I didn't think to check that ahead of time) and it was kind of hilarious - I could imagine where he probably was ranting at the game. I guess I should have watched that stream….

Also, I was playing with the controller that has a sticky right bumper. I should really mark this one somehow so I don't accidentally use it. I'd sometimes end up running when I didn't mean to.

Right now, I'd rate Pix the Cat 4.5/5--the gameplay is crazy addictive and fun, but I'm not sure I like how some of the Nostalgia levels can be Flower Bonus-ed by pure chance (if eggs pop up in a certain way) rather than by skill. There also seems to be a very brief delay between when I hit a direction on the D-Pad (playing on Vita) and when Pix actually turns, so I have to hit the direction earlier than I normally would.

EDIT: Never mind on the second sentence. I'm just rusty on my Pac-Man.

I'm not great at it, but like Pac-Man, you do want to hit the direction you want to go early. I don't see any delay, it's just fast paced. You can press in the direction you want to turn before you get there and you'll make the turn when you get to the corner. What I mean is you don't even have to hold it down. Press and release, then when you get to the corner you'll turn.

Has anyone tried plugging a USB mic (not headset, a mic) into the PS4? Does that work for picking up audio for the stream? We have a Rock Band USB mic. Was wondering if we could use that to pick up all of our voices for streaming.

 
No baseball until Friday sucks. I think this Orioles vs. KC series is going to be close. KC's speed is going to give the Orioles a challenge. I have tickets for game 7, so I both want it to go 7 games and want the Orioles to sweep in 4. Conflicted.

With Singstar coming out and it being compatible with USB mics, I don't see why you couldn't use it as a mic for streaming.

I had seen it when it leaked over the summer, but went ahead and watched it again. It's fun in an age where superheroes are so morose, it's nice to see they are trying to nudge back a little more toward the light. I do think it will be hard to regularly give villains that in reality wouldn't be a push over. Oliver Queen is a mortal man so you can put almost anyone up against him and it not feel one-sided, but Flash can move fast enough that he can take out anyone before they even know what happened.

One thing I didn't notice in the first viewing is Panabaker's character who was so sullen and made a point about "there's not much to smile about" had a big grin when Flash saved the day at the end of the episode so I imagine she will loosen up as the season progresses.
