I started playing Binding of Issac last night. Didn't realize how creepy and disturbing the game is. Am I to assume  that there  100s or 1000s of dead kids that "mama" threw down there? :shudder:

The game play isn't really anything compelling to me. Do you just run and around and circle strafe everyone? That shit was done back in Robotron 2084 man.

I wish PSNP took the actual trophy statistics from PSN rather than generating their own. The trophy is really at 2.6%. Still...  :D/

Edit: Playtime: 62h13m, if anybody was curious on that. I'd say it took 10-15 hours to finish up the content after the main story boss (two additional dungeons and bosses and two rare collectibles.)

P.S. I managed a 1million+ run in Race the Sun last night. Trophy unlocked. 5mill+ in my sites. Kind of. Trying to get to the 4th level in Apocalypse mode, though... I just don't know. That seems impossible.

And to you and everyone, PRACTICE INTERVIEW QUESTIONS. I know it feels so fucking cheesy when you do it, especially when you do it with someone else. But would you ever act in a play without rehearsing your lines over and over again?

I was surprised how simple the gameplay was after how lauded the game has been. Pretty much the answer to every single enemy is Strafe, Shoot, Repeat.

I actually prefer the PSNP stats. Gives a moderately better reflection of people who actually go for trophies to tell how hard a trophy is to get.

 
I wish Nintendo would put Mario on vacation for a year or 2, meaning not even a golf, a tennis, a kart, etc. and focus on some of their other franchises. How is there no 2D\3D awesome sauce Metroid on the 3DS yet?

Nah, this was for a marketing firm. After hearing what it's about though, I'm not too sure about that. In-N-Out is later today, I'm not worried about that one.

Like tyler said I prefer this better than the actual PSN stats as if that were the case then most plats would be less than 5%.

And the only reason they're so popular is because they take so long to put new versions of those games out, in the main series of them anyway.

It's kind of like a double-edged sword for Nintendo. If they start churning out more versions of the few games they actually have to create some kind of consistent revenue then the games will lose their luster and fans will get burnt out. It's kind of nice being a PS4 owner that I can get my annual fix of games like CoD and Assassin's Creed if I want while also enjoying games that get more time in the oven (like Uncharted, God of War, Arkham series, etc.)

 
Do any of you guys ever view your trophies on the Playstation website?  I never go there, but I went there now to see if they show the rarities online (they dont).  

But I do keep getting pop-ups from my platinums that say something like "You're the top 7.1% elite platinum for Guacamelee" or whatever.  It's actually pretty cool.

I think they sent out a few emails to people with the Last of Us plat with something like this, but it looks like they do it for a lot of platinum trophies.  I've had Portal 2 and Minecraft pop up as well.  It's kinda fun.

Haven't used that in forever. The main thing I have found that site is good for is comparing trophies. I used it when I would be looking for a boosting partner to stalk all the people who posted in the threads at PS3T. I think it is the only way to compare trophies with someone that is not on your friends list. At least it is the only way I know ho to do it.

Demon Gaze has a .5% plat on PSN, which is what prompted the comment. I do see the value in having a site run its own statistics, but those can be pretty skewed because they do show trophy hunters rather than the average gamer. I doubt, for example, that 76% of gamers really got 100% on Virtua Fighter 2. It would be fine if all the trophy sites used the same pool of data as well, but if you go from PSNP to TT then you'll see a completely different set of stats. The stats are very dependent upon the specific site and the gaming tendencies of its members, so have less concrete meaning as a result IMO.

weird, I just keep getting a pop up that says 'thanks for being one of the 0.5% that plays a vita'
 
So Meijer has that GTAV/TLOU PS4 bundle too, so it should be a Sony-specific bundle, not just a store bundle.  It's still going to sell out within minutes everywhere.  I think it dwarves the Assassin's Creed and CoD Bundles Xboner, even with the $50 price cut.

Looks like there might be a family PS4 bundle too with LBP3 and Lego Batman 3 for $400.

I'm in the .9% for PJ Shooter Ultimate and the 3.1% for Shadow of Mordor.

I used to look at the playstation site a little more, but the interface is not good. PSNTrophyLeaders has the Sony rarity on their site, just hover over the rarity icon and it'll tell you the percent.
