I just bought Injustice on PS4 for 79.98...too much? That was with the GCU discount of course.

I'm in the .9% for PJ Shooter Ultimate and the 3.1% for Shadow of Mordor.

I used to look at the playstation site a little more, but the interface is not good. PSNTrophyLeaders has the Sony rarity on their site, just hover over the rarity icon and it'll tell you the percent.
That site is pretty decent, I had never really checked it out before.

And I'll sell you my copy of Injustice PS4 for the low price of $30 shipped.

Do any of you guys ever view your trophies on the Playstation website? I never go there, but I went there now to see if they show the rarities online (they dont).

But I do keep getting pop-ups from my platinums that say something like "You're the top 7.1% elite platinum for Guacamelee" or whatever. It's actually pretty cool.

I think they sent out a few emails to people with the Last of Us plat with something like this, but it looks like they do it for a lot of platinum trophies. I've had Portal 2 and Minecraft pop up as well. It's kinda fun.
I just got an email about 5-10 minutes ago for the CoD:Ghosts platinum. I am the 0.1%.

That is a really dumb subtitle, I don't remember Yoda saying anything about the Force hibernating.
*shrug* Anything beats Attack of the Clones. I'll reserve judgement until after seeing the movie. Could be appropriate depending on the plot. The Phantom Menace is a cool sounding subtitle, but is hardly a good description of what the movie is about.

Yeah, I used to look at that site pretty much exclusively, but now I stick to psnprofiles for the most part just because everyone's trophy cards are from there. PSNTL is good though even though they just added a bunch of new features behind a paywall which instantly makes me feel bleh about it.

How much ball sweat is included in your copy?

The Phantom Menace is the boringness of intergalactic trade laws.

Actually, the real phantom menace of that movie is Jake Lloyd. The last time I watched it, I mentally prepared myself to be annoyed by Jar Jar, but I completely forgot how absolutely terrible lil ani is in it.

Was it for doing cold calls?
Sorta. I don't know if you've ever have had someone come to your place of business selling packages of tickets to sporting events but I think that's pretty much what it is. They said they're not looking for pushy sales people though.

However, they were also talking about fast tracking some people to management in like six months because they're growing fast so that's a plus.

I don't know, there's a second interview tomorrow if I get the call later today. If I get hired at In-N-Out though, I'll probably just go with them.

um, what's the name of the company? That sounds like a pyramid scheme. Have you googled the company? I would recommend skipping the second interview..

Found a link talking about that exact job and why it's a scam, don't waist your time.

I know about those scams and I've Googled the company and it seems legit. It's not door to door sales like that, it's all businesses. They had an office and they work with the Padres and AT&T.

Also, the second round is a two hour deal so I don't think I'll just be selling tickets like in that article. It's worth a shot, but it's all moot if I get In-N-Out.

I would honestly be careful... the one I went through out of college was one easy interview... second one was a simple interview with a couple other people. That was just an example, but honestly door to door or even business sales like that are terrible... they are a waste of time and they will do nothing for you resume when you leave, shoot for In N Out or keep looking, trust me you will regret going for a job like that.

I'll keep that in mind, good looking out.

Price matched a 440g at Best Buy to get GCU for five bucks. Probably won't even use it, since the last game I bought in the past five years on or near release day was Dark Souls 2. It's impossible to pass up for five bucks though.

Also, got the two LeBron challenge trophies. The 99 Stars one has 81 people on PSNProfiles who have gotten it, it's my new rarest trophy at .15%, edging out my Fight Night Round 4 plat. It also knocked out my 2k11 plat from my top 5. Just need to finish the myplayer HoF and the plat is mine.

For my next grind, I'll do Gran Turismo 5 and then Star Ocean.

I'm kidding.

Probably not about GT5, since I've already started it. But yeah. Autism confirmed.
Got caught up over the last couple days of the thread, but man, I've said it before when you have posted about the 2K plat, you're crazy, haha. I was just glad to get 50% of the trophies. Well done.

BioShock Infinite: The Complete Edition
Sweet! Should be about $10 by the time I get around to starting/finishing the first two.

Anyone else get a beta key for The Crew?
Got one, glad to know I'm in the EXCLUSIVE club.

"Interviewed" with that type of place during one of my college summers. If it's the same deal, which it sounds like it is. The second "interview" will consist of you going out with one of their sales people from like 8a-5p going door-to-door trying to sell those coupons (Papa Johns coupons, in my case). The worst part is that I wore a suit and dress shoes, it was the middle of the summer, and the guy's "territory" was way the fuck away from the office. Since you ride with them, you pretty much have no choice but to suffer through. When I got back, the guy's like, you did well, come back tomorrow and we'll get you started. I smiled and said "yup, sounds like a plan". Never went back and ignored all their calls. Yeah, fuck those places.

Oh i thought 2006 was old at this point?

DOCSIS 3.0 Released August 2006, the specification was revised to significantly increase transmission bandwidth (this time both upstream and downstream) and introduce support for Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6).

Modem I have.

On amazon

3 years old tech is new now?

Maybe the crap lease modems comcast has are just really old, no idea, but docsis 3 is not really new. I still stand by my opinion that the stupid free wifi is dumb. Doesnt work half the time ive tried to connect to them around where I live.
Yeah DOCIS 3.0 is pretty comon now. We had one here at work till about a year ago and they just showed up to upgrade us. I have had Cablevision for 7 or 8 years on and off. Last 3+ years they only deploy DOCIS 3.0.

I wasn't thrilled when we recently switched from FiOS to Cablevision they brought one of those public Wifi modems. More in principal then anything else. Too lazy to swap it out for my own though (and cheap we don't pay for cablemodems).

Switch back to FiOS probably 2 years in a few weeks so no more being a public hotspot. But now the bastards at Verizon charge a rental fee for their modem so probably end up buying my own.

Chiming in on this crap, I did one with Quill which is office supplies. Basically was cold calling on businesses trying to get them to order stuff. Kinda reputable business as its backed by staples, but same deal. Phone interview then spent a whole day with a guy going on sales calls.

F that noise.

I get cold sales calls fairly frequently at work (particularly to provide working capitol or sell us stocks), to the point I can usually sniff them out in the first few words via their tone. I don't know if it just attracts a certain kind of personality or if the trainers beat it into them, but it's the same slightly manic, cheerful, faux-friendly "please Ron Howard, I'm being friendly, I'm being nice, see, see; please don't put me in the cornfield!" tone.

So one thing I learned by researching how to set a FiOS "modem" to bridge mode, is that it isn't a modem all. It's just a router, but a router that can take Coax instead of ethernet as input. The modem is elsewhere and is fed to the house via coax. In fact you can call Verizon and have them switch out the coax cable with an ethernet cable. That makes it dead simple to use another wireless access point - you don't need their router at all. BUT you can't get TV if you do that. It's pure internet. This doesn't matter if you are cutting the cord.

Anyway, it sounds like I should be able to set the thing up as a bridge, but last time I tried this it was painful. I'll probably give it another shot this weekend, though. If that fails maybe I'll have them switch the coax to ethernet.

Nope, it was a "field interview".
Those companies are all actually owned by a parent company called sydcorp (the people that also own the toronto raptors and samsonite). There are a bunch of them here in MD. I am in sales and have definitely come into contact with a few of them trying to get me to work there and have met a few people that have worked for them as well. Totally a multi-level setup designed to make money for the branch "owner". They usually will sell things like coupons, phone service, office supplies door to door.

Almost any job that offers quick movement to management to young out of college kids is most likely a pyramid sales type scam job...

The two girls working the front desk are so fine though. They also said the next step is just a two hour ordeal so I don't think it's quite like the scam you guys are talking about.

I interviewed at a place like that when I was outta high school. Guy tried to hold me hostage in the video room. I realized what crap the company was like 5 minutes in and he tried to tell me
I couldn't leave til they were finished. fuck that! I pushed that sucker out of the way!

I saw a video that started this exact way. But the girl wanted the job and would do anything to get it.

I only watched the first 5 minutes or so though, but I'm sure the ending was messy and didn't go like your situation.
