Yeah, definitely had me thinking Outland too. I don't have a problem with this. That art style looks similar to Outland.

didn't somebody here poop a bit on that neo assault game or did I imagine that?
vita =(Yeah, I noticed that yesterday. If you look on your trophy list the PS4 emblem currently shows up.
Yeah, I have about a half an hour commute in the morning so it passes the time. I listen to music too but sometimes on the way home I need something a little less loud. As for the poop from time to time still. You listen to the CAGcast? Do they still spend 50% of the time talking about snakey's favorite topic - pooping?
Yeah mpaullin said it is short and kinda slow and said he didn't love it. Reviews aren't exactly sparking for it either, but I'll still check it out when it hits the right price.apotheon does look pretty rad, count me in. didn't somebody here poop a bit on that neo assault game or did I imagine that?
Heh, you got 100%? Nice of you to speak up when I asked for help with pets and armor. I see how it is.
Why would I bother buying the PS4 version to do that? I can just do it on PS3 and Vita whenever I want.vita =(
Tyler buy the ps4 version and finish the remaining trophies?
other than them being xbox fanboys, the main reason they like the X1 interface better is because they already have the x1 booted up for using the TV features so its the "hassle" of booting up the PS4 to do something whereas the X1 is already on, IE laziness.I got a $5 amazon GC from Bing today. So I'm only another 79 of those away from a free PS4. I already have a PS4 though. It's awesome. If you don't have one you should get one.
Oh and another CAGcast, more PS4 bashing.![]()

Had a phan and deleted the slot, save.Heh, you got 100%? Nice of you to speak up when I asked for help with pets and armor. I see how it is.
Oh damn, if the emblem is on the PSN trophy lists then it's for sure a shared list. I was hoping PSN Profiles maybe was wrong.Yeah, I noticed that yesterday. If you look on your trophy list the PS4 emblem currently shows up. I thought it might signal cross-buy, but evidently not. They haven't said, but I imagine they'd be screaming it from the rooftops if it was. Terrible move. I'm a huge fan of the game but asking us to buy it 3x (4th for me, as I own it on PC) is dumb. At least offer a discount like Minecraft did.
Edit: actually, vita version was free with PS+. But still...
That does look pretty good, I am surprised, based on that lightning and art style I figured it was made by the Outland Devs, but nope, Dust: An Elysian Tail devs.Apotheon looks pretty sweet!

Minecraft did great in this regard. PS3/PS4/Vita all have separate lists. The PS4 and Vita versions obviously have more updates to the core game so they added a bunch of new trophies that encourage checking out these new updates.Heh, you got 100%? Nice of you to speak up when I asked for help with pets and armor. I see how it is.
Which raises another question about trophy requirements. They're adding a ton of new stuff. Which I'm totally happy about (especially if it's on par with PC). But in respect to trophies it's completely unfair. A new set would have been a nice compromise. But this is me assuming they upped the requirements again. Hopefully that's not the case.
RPG help someone with a game when he gets nothing out of it?Heh, you got 100%? Nice of you to speak up when I asked for help with pets and armor. I see how it is.

Yeah, I think we'll split the points in half (so two winners of this monthly challenge will both get 5 points in the long-running total) since Spelunky is a really unfair game in that it gives a huge advantage to previous players. I hope we have several novices enter.Tyler, if you're going to have a separate winner for novices in the Spelunky Daily Challenge, I might be up for it.![]()
Thanks. Didn't realize that. Removed the caveat at the beginning. Can't vote in only 1 poll option if selecting no so I'll have to do both.
You have to answer both questions.Lol, I answered no to the first question and still answered the second as a joke. I'm guessing Geoffrey did the same, but I legitimately don't think RPG understands that second question.
Too busy with Isaac. Sorry. I wouldn't do well anyways, haven't played in foreverAh, mobile limitation. And Ender not going to play????![]()
With all the contestants that entered, I think it is going to be a close match between Crunchewy and Tyler. 3rd place could be anyone's guess.Look at all those yes votes! This is shaping up to be an exciting tournament!
You start from Basement 1 every time. In Rebirth you can stop in the middle of a run though. It saves at the beginning of every floorI bet two "bosses" last night in Issac and made it down to Caves I.
I know the game is a rouglelike but is the really no checkpoint or place to continue at?
I would still have to stop playing IsaacIt's like riding a bike. You never forget. Anyway, if you do bad it won't take you long to play!
Condolences TAFKAP, but in a lot of ways you are likely better off. Even with a huge salary bump, the cost of living jump to move to the Bay area versus the plain states would likely be even more of a shock than you expect.let it be known that my 'bugles' escapade is finally at an end and I did not succeed. fate has different plans it seems.
spoilered for uninteresting and personal journalness
after starting this whole thing in July and going through (I think) somewhere around a dozen interviews plus a trip to california and a handful of bugles hangouts with fancy managers I think I'm actually glad to be done. I'd rather the whole thing ended differently, but I reckon it just wasn't meant to be.
the process is soooo agonizingly long. the thing that's frustrating is that if it were up to the people I interviewed with and the hiring committee I would've been in. however there's an 'executive committee' made up of VPs that review all this stuff before making an offer and apparently for both jobs they gave the thumbs down, primarily because I've only worked in a smaller environment for the past 14 years (500-600 people, only a couple physical locations) and they didn't think I could hang with the enormity of bugles. while I'm sure I could, it's not a totally unreasonable concern.
so, disappointed but at peace. now to figure out what's next.
I think I'll rub the scalps of some hatsune miku vocaloids for trophies to cheer me up. they're always so damn happy.
Sucks dude, good job stickin through it and the great post-shit tude.let it be known that my 'bugles' escapade is finally at an end and I did not succeed. fate has different plans it seems.
