Yea Sunset Overdrive is kinda lame. Its even more repetitive than Saints Row 4. Insomniac is 0-2 now in their last two new ips.

Only one thing Microsoft knows how to do and thats Halo, thats it.

Does anyone watch the Saturday night Fox Animation shows?  (I'm pretty sure it's just co-opted from Adult Swim.)

Do they show the same shit every week?  I've seen this stupid cartoon song "Things I Like When I'm Depressed" at least 3 times now over the last couple months.  

And the last two things that have been on have been that Depressions song and a song about how even though you're an adult you can still play video games.  Depression and Nostalgia, could they be pandering to a specific audience anymore?  It's like they read the top two posts on Reddit and made cartoons out of them.

Yeah I had to quit watching finally. I kind of felt good seeing someone who is obviously pretty damn good having such a hard time by getting paired up with the wrong people. At least we aren't the only ones.

He just finished it. Almost five hours it took him. Eventually he kicked the dude that had never done it and went on a rant before he did it about how he and that other dude weren't ready for hard mode and need to get better. I wish we could hear what the other dudes were saying. He kicked them, brought in a couple of his pals, and finished it in like ten minutes.

Yeah, I thought the Gjallahorn was supposed to be the supreme rocket launcher. At least that's what I keep hearing. Too bad it's only gone on sale once, when hardly anyone had the coins to afford it.

And I finally got Vision of Confluence. Not seeing what the big deal is. But I seem to just prefer guns with a high rate of fire. Hell, at least something automatic.

Somehow I managed to end up with two rewards accounts at some point, so I got two coupons. I used one of them to get GCU for $2 (good to 2018 now), and the other to get the wife a bday present (Orphan Black s1 bluray for $15.)

Does anybody know if the coupons are tied to the account they were issued for? I'm assuming they are, and had them ring it up as two purchases.

 
I love Metallica. Also, thinking you're better than someone because of the music they listen to is the only 10 year old activity I see going on around here.
 
Well I guess my only option is to wipe my drive. Keeps hanging up at 36% doing the file system restore, and telling me it must be formatted. Gonna lose my save in Okami (20 hours in) and a good bit of LEGO Batman 2 progress. I think I have everything else backed up.

You don't have the automatic saves to PS+ set up? That sucks, man.

Your issues are making me think I need to focus more on knocking out my gameshare phantoms. I don't have that many, but if my PS3 went down I'd lose a few things I definitely want to play.

Nah, and it's the main reason I plan on getting a sub in the near future.

I'm probably just gonna pop my old 320 gb drive in and use it since the issue I'm having sounds like a hard drive issue.

does it come all the way to the xmb at all anymore? if so you could get a 30 day ps+ trial, upload saves really quick, swap back to your 320gb and download saves.

Nah, takes me straight to the file system restore. Works fine when I pop in the old drive though. I'm sure my kid will be happy to get to fight all the villains in LEGO Batman again, but I'm pretty upset about that Okami save.

Pretty sure those are the only 13 released games that aren't ports so far this gen.

I knew it would not be easy for me since I am not the greatest at shoot em ups, but it is fun as I expected. It just seems like I keep dying because an enemy will spawn in my flight path. Getting the humans does not appear too bad. I started on experienced due to the trophy guide, but I am not sure why it says to do that for all ships. Looking back at it I think you just have to beat the game with each ship and Veteran with one ship. Oh well, Ill stick with experienced anyway in an attempt to get better. I keep screwing up on the boss on the second level now.
