Twice in a row I owned the free game :(

Either way, maybe it'll FINALLY get my friends to play Borderlands, i want to try to platinum it before 2 comes
 
I shouldn't be complaining about PS+ which, at least for me, has been more than worth it so far, but is there anyone who has been interested in Borderlands that hasn't gotten it by this point?
 
Am I remembering incorrectly or was there no PS3 games for PLUS in August? All we got was 2 eps of walking dead and Outland and Bloodrayne, all PSN titles? Were we 'supposed' to get a PS3 game or no, I can't remember what they promised.

I did start playing Outland and it's pretty fun, great design style. Haven't gotten into Bloodrayne yet, it seems a lot like Shank though.

I feel the same way. If you don't own Borderlands by now, you don't want it. Disappointed this month.

On the other hand, there were months where all we got was a single PSN game that had previously been on sale like Mushroom Wars, so this is still better. But I wish that they'd bring back some of their other freebies like minis, PSOne Classics and free dynamic themes. Those have been few and far between since the "Instant Game Collection" was announced at E3.
 
I've never played Borderlands or had any interest in getting it So this is good for me.

Also i hope they drop the price on the Jak collection

And can't wait to play Castlevania Symphony of the night on my Vita
 
Nice, I never played Space Channel 5 but heard good things, so I'll be picking up Space Channel 5: Part 2 for sure. Might as well grab Daytona USA too at that price.
 
Heads up if want to try Borderlands online. The community is filled with hackers, and while you may think it shouldn't affect you, it did to me. For some reason now my save file/main character quest log is all fucked up. Luckily the 2nd/3rd playthrough quest log was still intact.

Here. I've been a bit curious. Not really a FPS fan, but I'm interested in the RPG elements. Could be interesting.
 
already have greed corp and borderlands. I'm hoping I get something i don't own in the next few months, but i still love ps+, it's my own fault for buying these games already.

yeah play borderlands offline or with friends you trust. I had the game since release but just started playing it this past week and already got the 'Keep Your Insides Inside' Mission glitch twice, so just backup your saves in case something bad happens. Hit me up if you wanna play legit tho, im just at level 5 at nine toes, im a siren and my grrl is a soldier.
 
I've avoided Borderlands because of the hacking / glitch issues. None of my friends play it, so I'd be at the mercy of random intern00bs if I did online co-op. I wasn't going to shell out for it as a single player experience, but I'll definitely try it out now.

Seriously? That sucks.....I guess I'll have to be sure to backup my saves. Then again, I pretty much only played with people on my friends list before. I hate playing Co-Op games with randoms
 
Borderlands is awesome as a single player game. It is one of the few FPS's that actually feels kinda like an open RPG with many quests and loot to find while leveling up all along the way. You could easily drop 30-50 hrs. This is one that is not MW'd up meaning it's actually worth playing the single player and not only worth it for the online play.

I agree with this. I ran through the campaign twice solo and a few times with friends, I had just as much fun both ways.
 
Looks like Sony won't be offering a bundle for the Ratchet & Clank Collection at launch, so you're looking at paying 50% more if you want it digitally at launch. I don't get the point of doing that and denying people the opportunity to get the bundle at the same time as it's released in retail.
 
i was hoping there would be a bonus like deadlocked or full frontal assault or something with a preorder, but seems that is out of the question. I saw a friend playing ffa, and asked how it was but he said non-disclosure agreement. lame, lol.

also looking for a berserker (brick) and hunter (mordecai) for borderlands co-op once it goes down and a few of you get it. peace

also i love the strategy of ps+ releasing free games to help promote upcoming games. id rather have day 1 free games like stacked and rock of ages and awesomenauts, cuz it doesnt give me a chance to buy it yet, but still no complaints.

- yeah iv got all bl dlc also. // also anyone with cs go... i just need to snipe a sniper and then i got my plat... any takers for helpn a bro out?

hey velo, I'll jump on BL with ya. I'm rocking Lilth now on the PS3 but Mordecai was my shit on the xbox. I wouldnt mind starting him up on the ps3 as well (I also have all the DLC)
 
I traded for a copy of Space Channel 5 pt 2 on xbox and actually kind of hated it - odd, since I normally kind of like rhythm games.

And crap, Spelunker for $5 with $1 per DLC? I'm running low on PSN credit (need to save $15 for Dark Souls DLC in Oct, and another $15 for Virtua Fighter when my brother ever decides to come back - no desire to get it before then), but I am tempted...

Wow, thats a horrible selection....

Only have 2 of those, and i never even play them lol. Looks like i'll be waiting a while to transfer Tomba and a few other games
 
Should be added that Tomba, Arc The Lad 2, Vanguard Bandits, & Alundra will also be playable on Vita tomorrow.

...or rather, right now, as firmware 1.80 is now available for download.
 
Something tells me that posting is maybe referring to titles you can download on the Vita. The reason I say this is because SCEE's list is like, a lot more.
 
Yeah, from how its worded, it sounds like those can be directly downloaded onto the Vita via PS Store, while more will be added. If you have others via PS3, then maybe you can transfer them over.

Hey Daz & Velo I still need to play Borderlands. I got the disc version GOTY and still haven't got to it. Sucks to hear about online being hacked. I'm down to play legit maybe catch you guys this weekend online.

I'm gonna laugh if its really this slow. Its like a huge advertisement to drop your Vita and get a psp while they are cheap.

I need to do the DLC's, and if you guys want to do the arenas, I heard they base the enemies on the person with the lowest level. I got a level 50 guy (the soldier dude).

I also have all the DLC

And lol, i dont mind playing with people from forums like this or Gamefaqs or something, i just hate playing random matchmaking. Too much shenanigans and other crap going on.

I don't know what class to pick? I also don't know much about gameplay since I still haven't played it. When it comes to getting co-op done I always play with friends or people here. Add me BumslieOG if you want just put your CAG name in message.

There is a much bigger list of Vita compatible PS1 games being compiled on Gaf. Perhaps these are the ones you can buy from the store, and the others are transfer from ps3 only.

Siren is pretty good; My GF played her. I played Mordecai, who I think is overpowered. Crazy fast and accurate, with high damage revolvers that can zoom.
 
I might as well ask considering we're still kind of talking about the Vita update, but on the change log while accepting the terms of services and such on the Vita, did anyone catch anything about being able to customize thumbnails for videos or something about thumbnails? I don't have anyway of going back & checking and I'm not finding anything on Google.
