LBP is $39.99? What happened to first party games being $5 cheaper? Had to ignore all the people who got the retail version early, and now I pay full price as well. So glad I paid out my rear for that 32gb card. Also, Tokyo Jungle add-on at release?

And no price listed for FFIII. I hope it's not $40 or $30.

End complaints.

I'm excited for Tokyo Jungle. Everyone should please buy it.
I'm excited for Tokyo Jungle as well. I hate day one add-ons or DLC just as much as the next guy but with Tokyo Jungle I honestly don't mind (unless its crazy expensive). Tokyo Jungle released at full retail price (5000 yen I think is equivalent to $60 here) in Japan so we're getting a pretty nice discount which is probably the only way to get sales here.

wow just spent $20 on rockband songs dlc and could have easily spent another $20. glad it's half price, but wow, still adds up. Peace all Cags. and yeah i have no idea why i post stuff. early adopters? sounds like young people getting kids or something, idk. and all of us on cag probly get 'screwed' less than any consumer, so thats good. idk peace!

Why do you always say peace when you make posts? I'm not tryin to insult you, just wondering. It's not like you're having a personal conversation with any one and you generally come back to the thread later. It's just weird to me, haha.
Why? That makes no sense to me and I look for reasons to recommend signing up to Plus.
I agree.

After a month into my year of PS+, I feel it has been worthwhile. Borderlands has been the big boon, with over 30 hours co-op time with my friend. We don't live close anymore, so it's nice to play this much together. I also adore both Pac-Man CE DX and Outland, and I'm still getting time out of those games. I've played and beaten Walking Dead Ep. 1 and 2, Infamous 2, LBP 2 and Warhammer, and found things to enjoy from each title. I bought Hot Shots Golf and Daytona USA at discount, too. I could lose it today at only 1/12 my allotted time and still feel like I got my money's worth. That's my recommendation.
I don't know the exact price it'll be, but I know it's a $40 retail game, so that's the price I put there.
Woops, sorry. Well I'll still be mad at Sony if its full retail price. :)

I agree $15 is nice for Tokyo Jungle ($60 would be absurd). Does anyone know the UK price? I'll be there the 25th and hope to convince my girlfriend's brother to buy it so we can play it. :) Hope to be able to buy LBP and FFIII from my Vita in England. Pretty sure that's how it works.

It isn't just for Starhawk's single player campaign. It makes perfect sense to me to sign up again with the slightest nudge.

I was thinking about giving my friend my copy of Starhawk.

I have a lot of the free PS+ games in my download history. I want to play some of them like InFamous 2 because I just finished InFamous instead of buying the game.

I don't play online much anyway. More interested in Starhawk's single player campaign or with bots.
Not even sure if there are bots this time. I know Warhawk didn't have bots.

I also like backing up my saves to the cloud storage again for those saves that don't back up to my external hard drive.

To each their own I guess, but just for those reasons alone are enough for me to sign back up. Just waiting for a deal on PS+ memberships.

PS+ is just getting better and better, especially with the new addition of a vita version. I love that it auto-updates and after losing a bunch of saves to my old broken PS3 having the ability to put saved games in the cloud just in case my PS3 ever starts going bad is great. I'll admit that I owned or beat most of the games in the IGC but it's more than payed for itself so far with the discounts and free games.

The Drop for this week:
The guys that publish the drop have to be stupid: the information isn't connected to the blogcast at all I've heard the whole blogcast and the interview with Seth Killian.

On the miscelleaneaous part they talked about Spelunker yet nothing says that Spelunker is coming, also another reason why they are stupid, they don't publish the prices and we have to figure that out by ourselves but since the publishers don't post everone has to speculate which is stupid, many ppl were asking the price for Final fantasy III, but square enix didn't inform neither them on the US.
http://www.ps3trophies.org/game/angry-birds-trilogy/trophies/

Angry Birds gets a plat. wow. and still RE4 no plat. lol. amazing.
angry birds has 3 games tho and Activision says hello $40

RE4 blame capcom for being lazy and quick $$$$$$$
I'm still holding out blind hope that PS+ gets Hell Yeah for free!
i hope they give tokyo jungle instead

Spelunker's been out, unless you're talking about Spelunky.
I may have to pick up Angry Birds for PS3. Could probably come home to a shiny platinum because my girl will play all day, and she is 10x better at the game than I am. Needs a Vita version though.
One of the trophies is to three star every single level.
I'm still holding out blind hope that PS+ gets Hell Yeah for free!
Spelunky doesn't exist for PS3, I am talking of Spelunker HD because there needs to be released right atm still 2 dlcs, EX9 and EX10
One of the trophies is to three star every single level.
You just have to understand that every trophy is doable if not they wouldn't have published that trophy, unless the trophy is glitched but for that they needed to test the game, and that is what QA is for most of the times.

If a trophy doesn't work out they always have a solution patching the game

but you'd have to do the requirements specified on it, and that's about it

What are you talking about? I know it's doable. That doesn't mean it won't still be hard as fuck and take forever.

Although, you are wrong about there always being a solution patching the game if a trophy doesn't work out. If you feel like browsing: http://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/games/170749-unachievable-glitched-trophies.html
One of the trophies is to three star every single level.
I saw the trophy list before. I wouldnt have the endurance to try for 3 stars on all levels. I dont find that fun, I like constant progress in games. My girl would love it. I'll wait for a drop, but its going on my want list.

But some games do require you to persist apples to apples for example you just need to put 2 cards exactly the same one after another, because someone already achieved it.

But most of them if glitched and publishers won't support them then there's nothing that can be done.

Not sure on Tokyo Jungle. Really like weird/unique games, but might wait for a sale, especially since I'm getting MvC Origins & then Okami HD next month, not to mention Nights & SA2 on XBLA. Really hopin' Hell Yeah will either be or at the least discounted.
Thanks! And, I see it's a 2 game pack! Even better!:D Still hope it gets a PS+ discount!
I hope that too.
It would be nice if they add a dynamic theme and some avatars for free.

Playstation blog has released the PS+ update for this week

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2012...yeah-and-tokyo-jungle-release-week-discounts/

Free Starhawk single player (which we knew about) and 20% off day one discounts on Tokyo Jungle and Hell Yeah.

Guess it was too much to hope for a discount on Marvel vs Capcom. I was planning on only getting that, but I've had a passing interest in both Hell Yeah and Tokyo Jungle.. might end up being an expensive update for me.

Between Marvel vs Capcom Origins, Final Fantasy III, and Tokyo Jungle I'm going broke this week.

Although if FF3 is above $30 I won't be partaking.

But we never know if it actually be like that and also if ps+ will get a discount

Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit

ALL OF THEM. Get it with a first week discount through PlayStation Plus.

Tokyo Jungle

20% discount for PlayStation Plus Members (Regular Price: $14.99, PS Plus Price: $11.99)

It’s the experience gaming site Polygon hailed as the game that has “inspired more breathless updates to friends and coworkers than any game in recent memory…”. It’s that crazy, and it’s that good. With more than 50 playable animals to choose from, unleash your inner beast to hunt your way to the top of Tokyo’s post-apocalyptic food chain. Whether in Story or Survival Mode, you never know where your next meal will come from or the dangers you’ll face, so be prepared for anything and everything.

So we get the Starhawk SP for free and then they throw in the multiplayer DLC as well? I guess that gives us an incentive to go ahead and buy the MP as well.
Does everyone think Eps 3, 4 and 5 will be free in the future? Might as well wait.
Just wait for it you never know when they will make you a surprise and give them for free, if you have a good backlog of games just don't spend extra money this site has it's name for a reason.

I normally wait while playing other games
So we get the Starhawk SP for free and then they throw in the multiplayer DLC as well? I guess that gives us an incentive to go ahead and buy the MP as well.
Yes and another surprise which hasn't been revealed is also coming and going to be announced Tuesday if I'm not mistaken, but rest assured that if you get to play the single player campaign and if you like trophies etc, your trophy count will always show the multiplayer part with 0 trophies, making you unable to get the platinum.

This isn't like killzone multiplayer in which they had made a separate trophy list just for that these 2 lists will be shared
If you can wait, wait or for the disc version to go on sale that comes in December but I'm 100% sure the deal was to offer 2 as an enticement to the other 3 with no plans to complete it in the same free manner.
Also one thing worth mentioning you need to have Episode 1 activae as part of your subscription to ps+ otherwise you can't play the add-ons even if they are free, this is all the same for episode games, games for 2 to 5 etc are just add-ons

Thanks guys. Yes, I downloaded 1 and 2, haven't even played them yet. lol. The backlog is huge, so I definitely can wait. It's just something I know I'll eventually want to play through for certain.

Hmm, I'm 1/2 tempted by Hell Yeah being 20% off, but considering it's Sega, I'm sure it'll be on sale for $10 or less soon enough. Really hope there's a demo for Tokyo Jungle so I can try it out.

According to the drop these are the demos tomorrow:
Demos

 • Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit
 • NBA 2K13
 • Realms of Ancient War

Wow, that's crazy. I think I'll just get the UMD from Play-Asia if that's the case.
Was pretty sure I was going to pick up Tokyo Jungle anyway. This definitely seals the deal.
Same here. Thanks everyone for posting the info for the lazy like me

I wonder if the disc version of Walking Dead will overlap with the PSN trophy list. That would save me some hassle, especially if it goes cheap like BttF did.
