Hope you guys start adding DLC and stuff again too. I loved ordering there since you guys has so many things that were under the 5$ mark on PSN. Especially Avatar's and such.

Agreed. And Amazon would even sometimes have cheaper prices than PSN, I remember getting Flock! for $5 when it was $10 on PSN.

What's so good about the digital codes from amazon as opposed to just picking them up on PSN at the same price?

I suppose if I had some amazon credit to spend and wanted something PSN related, it's nice to have the option but I'm not really seeing the incentive especially having to plug in the codes manually.

For me, it is mostly convenience. Amazon psn card is almost instantly displayed. I once order 2 cards from gamestop.com, it took 6 hours for them to send me my codes. I also try to avoid going to a store just to pick up a digital code.

How do I know how much I have spent this month? I am really not sure. Ang good Amazon is selling PSN codes again! I have $80 on gift card credit for trading in books, Does anyone know if it is possible to buy PSN codes using Amazon gift card credit?

Really Simple just go watch your history on :
https://account.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/

Then watch your historic of transactions , and that's about it, it's really simple.

I know myself and other people have problems using our credit or debit card on PSN. Always comes back as an error and its frustrating. So having places online to purchase codes and get them quickly is better than runnin out and purchasing them.

That doesn't make sense. The most convenient way would be to just get your money straight from the psn store though. That's instant and you don't have to type in codes.

Personally, i get mine from speedway. 3 cards nets you 1,000 bonus points and every three months they do the frequent shopper study that nets you 7,000 points. 20,000 points can be redeemed for a $20 psn card. I usually get $60-$80 of free psn credit every year through speedway.

And Amazon, out of all the retailers selling digital codes, is usually the fastest in delivering them.

If I move to the uk and want to carry on using my US account, would I be able to buy US cards from amazon from the UK? If it requires a US credit card, can I keep my US card and use my moms house as the billing address in the US?

Just curious. :) if i do move, I don't want to start over with an EU account!

You know that Amazon didn't just used to sell PSN Money, they used to sell a lot of games that were on PSN. Granted it wasn't as swift with the updates. Not only did they have at least 90% of PSN's catalog they even had sales on them.

Also buying codes on gamestop.com has been the single greatest hassle all my life. Here is a tip, never buy more then one code a day. They will cancel that on you fast. Don't ever expect it to get there in five, ten or and hour. They will get you your codes in MAYBE a day.

So i see this as a step forward, will they bring back the entire catalog. Who knows... I can't stress enough how inefficient gamestop.com is. Amazon is one of the few companies that does digital downloading right.

By the way i totally am going to take credit for incepting this idea into tony, there is proof.

I don't want my credit card on psn.
Using Sony's billing service is a pain in the ass.
I get trade in credit that I can use at Amazon.
Gamestop.com previous experience were I waited ~6 hours for 2 Psn cards
Amazon.com previous experience were I get the codes instantly.
My discover card gives me reward credit at Amazon.
I get 5% cashback from purchases at Amazon with my discover card.

Most important reason: ease and convenience.

Haha shadowkast. Using direct transaction through the psn store is not the easiest way. You must have not used their billing system more than a few times. For some random reason, it sometimes doesn't recognize my billing address. It's not consistent; and after that fiasco with
Psn being hacked, I just don't trust Psn with credit card info.

Back in July, I bought P3P, Kenka bancho and riviera through the store on my credit card.

They just charged my card for that purchase THREE WEEKS ago.

Its that kind of crap made me never want to use my CC on the PSN store again. Being able to get cards through Amazon is really nice.

The sole reason of more potential sales for PSN products makes me happy that Amazon could even consider selling PSN stuff again.

I remember getting all 4 Hot Shot Shorties PSP games for 5 bucks total, what a deal!

Yeah same shit happened to me. I brought Persona 1, 2, Tactics Ogre, and something else.

Out of nowhere I had a charge on my account and nearly overdrafted. Luckily I noticed and deposited some money first.

Does Best Buy do PSN codes by email? I'd rather get Reward Zone points towards them vs Amazon, but I can vouch for Amazon's swiftness in the past with delivering codes pretty instantly, so I'm glad they're selling them again.
No, Best Buy only does them via cards, as I ordered from them a few weeks ago to get funds for Okami HD when it's released. There's a listing for a downloadable $50 code, but it's sold out online.
That's a real bummer. Buying through Best Buy was the easiest way to get "discounted" online PSN cards through Reward Zone.

way late, but i noticed that new copies of nhl 13 have a code for nhl 3 on 3 arcade in them. explains why it was near the top of the chart in september. (didn't notice if anyone else had mentioned this.)

nice to see sales starting on ps2 classics, hopefully it happens more often, and they get more added in. would also be nice to play these on vita somehow, even if via remote play.

I don't think this is what's coming out on Tuesday, but Zen Studios announced a Marvel Civil War table for Zen Pinball 2:
Iron Man and Captain America face off in dramatic fashion in the latest collaboration between pinball masters Zen Studios and entertainment powerhouse Marvel Entertainment. Based on the 2006 six-part comic event Civil War, players must choose to join Iron Man in support of the Superhuman Registration Act or join Captain America in the fight against it.

The choice to support or fight the Superhuman Registration Act provides unique aspects to gameplay. For example, if you pick Captain America, you might get some help from the Punisher; whereas if you choose Iron Man, you may earn help from the Thunderbolts. Both sides contend for the allegiance of heroes still making up their minds, such as Spider-Man, Spider-Woman and Ms. Marvel.

Civil War features amazing slow-motion combat animations Iron Man and Captain America, each battling for what they see is right. The number of followers amassed to each cause determines the difficulty of each fight, as determined by striking the proper targets and ramps, some of which materialize in thin air.

Civil War joins an incredible lineup of Marvel themed tables, and will release on a multitude of platforms as standalone DLC:

  • Pinball FX2 on Xbox Live® Arcade and Windows 8
[*]Zen Pinball 2 as Cross Buy entitled content for PlayStation®3 and PlayStation®Vita
    [*]Marvel Pinball for PlayStation®3
  • Zen Pinball 2 on the Mac®App Store
  • Zen Pinball on the iTunes App®Store
  • Zen Pinball THD on Google®Play.
That it's coming to Marvel Pinball on PS3 lends credence to my claims earlier that Marvel licensing required Zen Studios to keep that game around rather than delist it like ZP1.

No, only the $10, $20, and $50 cards count towards the $100 promotion.
if you can stand him, there's a video of eric lempel showing off the new ps store redesign while hip hop gamer goes crazy over simple things like resident evil director's cut:

lololololololololololololol!

Lost it near the end when the guy couldnt even think of words to describe it.

And I had to stop it on the Resident Evil part, especially after the camera zoomed in. Either way, I REALLY hope they made downloading stuff off your past list easier, would make re-downloading all my stuff to the 500GB I'm getting so much easier.

They already said on the PS Blog that the download list will be unchanged with the upcoming store update, but they're aware we all think it sucks and they will look into fixing it sometime in the future.

Dammit then

So when exactly are the Amazon PSN codes coming back? I ask because I have a $10 promo code I can't find a cheap enough physical game to buy with it, so if they bring back the $10 PSN codes I'd likely grab that with the code. But then that still leaves me with $4 something on my account.:bomb:

not looking forward to this at all. looks like just another way for them to shove videos in my face that i have no interest in. at least before they split up videos/games content. I have no interest in any video content and now its gonna be mixed in? ugh.
i just hope they dont mess anything up and we all lose our current wallets or already purchased/dl'd games, etc. oh wellz

For those that believe the RE5 Gold for PS+ thing is a sign, it's full price in other parts of the store to show that nothing you see there is indicative of anything:
How do I check the expiration date for my ps+ subscription online (rather than on my ps3)?
Click on Media and find the newest piece of PS+ content to see when your sub expires.
Anyone else notice that RE5 gold was listed as PS+ free in that video?
Another section of the store in the video showed RE5 Gold without it saying it was free for PS+.
How do I check the expiration date for my ps+ subscription online (rather than on my ps3)?
Log in here with the PSN account info, then on the front page, click on the Media tab on the top the page. On the media list, anything that you have downloaded for free through PS+ will have an expiration date next to it. That is the same date that PS+ will expire as well.

Hip-hop gamer is an amalgam of black gamer stereotypes- fantastic.

The new UI looks nice but I'm not a big fan of movies being shown while I'm browsing the store for games. I kind of like the fact that they're separate.

Otherwise, it looks very nice and I'm looking forward to it.

$20 and $50 are already up but no mention of a $10 digital code.

I know. I just checked the $10 page earlier and it still said unavailable. I really hope they bring those back too since I don't wanna spend over the amount of the promo code.
