Others pictured include Zombie Apolcalypse, Hard Corps Uprising, Choplifter HD, Sideway, Just Cause 2, Warhammer Space Marine, Lara Croft GOL, I think virtual fighter 5, and 2 more I can't make out.

Also, my power just went out. Haha fuck my life.

Thanks, wondering when the rest will be revealed. Will ultimately decide if I buy into 3 months or 12. Was close to signing up a few days ago just to buy the infamous 2 bundle sale but that doesn't seem necessary now. Also have my eye on the Mortal Kombat Ultimate

Thanks! The stream I was watching was too small to make out what those were. Kinda irked I already own the 3 big releases they mentioned (though LBP2 and Infamous 2 were free through the PS House Party) but if VF5 and Hard Corps Uprising are in there I'm satisfied. Sideways New York was a cool demo but didn't seem worth a purchase. Cool stuff.

Also, for those that haven't played Lara Croft GOL it's pretty damned good imho. Really wish they'd make a sequel or something with similar gameplay.
 
I'm seriously tantalized.

That being said, I should probably pick that 3 month up tonight rather than wait until tomorrow so that I can grab all the May free games really quickly, right?
 
Now I'm glad I waited on buying Just Cause 2. I already have SR2 from when I got Saints Row: The Third. But I'm excited for Infamous 2, LBP 2 and Virtua Fighter 5.

Yeah, sounds like they'll be bringing them over in waves like they're doing with the PSP games. Kinda sucks, but FFVII should last me awhile.

Haha, I have inFamous 2, LBP2, Sideway, Tomb Raider, and I just bought Just Cause 2 but I'm sure there will be at least a few games I want. I'm just sick of people complaining about every single thing. No matter what happens, someone's here complaining.

Most people in the thread rebought JC2 last week anyways. So chances are, they'll be more than happy to, you know, have it available even after they cancel Plus. Just saying.

Just curious, doesnt Infamous 2 have a different trophy set from the retail version? I'd love to plat it twice :p

Also, anyone figure out whether that Virtua Fighter 5 is the new one releasing for 14.99 tomorrow, or the old one? Because the pic they showed matches the old one, yet the old one isnt even on the PSN Store.

Yeah, I think this may just be a big "grab customers" month for PS+. I'm actually happy, as I was worried a revamp would make things a lot worse.

Well if you buy 3 month cards it's $6 a month and if you buy the year card it comes out to about $4 a month.

Maybe they are decreasing the value per month but keeping the yearly package the same? I don't know. All I do know is I get more free goodies which makes me happy.
 
Not to be the one to look a gift horse in the mouth but I'm not impressed. From what I gathered they were going to unveil something huge for PS+. Most people that have Plus are probably pretty big fans that have probably played most of these games already if they haven't already bought them during a previous Plus sale.

This reminds me of the welcome back program. If you're going to make a big deal about how generous you're being, be fucking generous and give something that nobody has (early betas like Starhawk), and not something that your loyal customers probably already own.
 
I'm fine with it. I didn't want them to really change PS+, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I'm a subscriber for the next year and will pull in a nice haul despite me owning Infamous 2, LBP2, Guardian of Light, and Hard Corps Uprising. Not mad about it, got those games all on sale anyway so no big loss. Pretty glad I held off on Just Cause 2 though, ha...
 
Although I have Choplifter HD ( buy the $1.00 DLC choppers if you want to keep your hair), Sideway.NY (meh), and Just Cause 2, I don't own any of the others, so that's fantastic.

I was looking at getting Lara Croft GOL and LBP2 a couple of months back, glad I didn't.
And I still have the Infamous2 full game trial from the hack that I never fully downloaded when I saw the giggage involved.
Thank god I put in a 500gb recently.

I'm off to download the infamous 2 trial now and let it run overnight.
Might as well tack on the Lara Croft demo and Zombie Apocolypse demo too, just so by the time the store updates I'll only need the key to unlock them.

BTW Beyond: Two Souls , AC IIi and Watch Dogs look pretty amazing don't they?

I understand where you're coming from, but people like me couldn't give a flying fuck about about Starhawk betas, or any betas for that point.

Moral of the story, no way to please everyone.
 
Wow. I may have to start shopping for a new hard drive! I almost picked up Space Marine a couple times in Steam sales. Really glad I held back now.

that Watch Dogs gameplay demo looked amazing, its got sort of a deus ex vibe to it, the last of us was incredible as well

Whew I almost bought Infamous 2 yesterday, glad I waited. I had also considered JC2.

I wonder if just June will be this big, or what. It'd be cool to see more full PS3 games offered, even if they're older ones.

Also, I find it funny that they could announce that everything on PSN is free tomorrow, and there would be people ready to complain about it. Entitlement issues, much?
 
From the PS Blog, this is how they describe PS+:

We strengthened our offering for you tonight by announcing a free new library of games for PlayStation Plus members. PS Plus members now have immediate and instant access to an ever-expanding lineup of great titles that can be downloaded anytime. At launch, the game collection will feature 12 games, including inFAMOUS 2, LittleBigPlanet 2 and Saints Row 2. All of these games will be available to members starting tomorrow, and new games will be rotated in all the time.

It kind of sounds like these 12 games are going to be permanent mainstays to PS+, that's how I'm understanding it anyway.
 
Eh already have that whole list except for rachet, choplifter, and sideway new York. Oh well can't win them all. Better start trading in my retail copies tomorrow
 
just cause 2 will be free now?

last week i bought just cause 2 with a buy 2 get 1 free coupon at gamestop, with just cause 2 being the free game

i still have the receipt, i wonder if i can get store credit if i return just cause 2, or if i'm stuck with it since it was the free game out of the 3 i got

anybody know if gamestop will let me return the free just cause 2 so i can get something else?

I noticed that the CE for God of War Ascension, which is $80, includes a DLC pass that gives you all future DLC for that game. I like that idea a lot for CEs because the physical stuff is usually a bit underwhelming.
