Its Capcom. Be happy for once they actually gave us an awesome game that didnt even need DLC. (Dragon's Dogma is my current GOTY)

I keep hearing the Frontier lands might be added as DLC (Especially considering there appears to be an exit leading to a pretty big area in the Goblin Arena place). Either way, i platinum'd the game already.
 
Wow, its a shame they deactivate PSOne games for PSN. Has this always been going on or is this something new? Also, why the Rtype games?

As far as I know, those are the only PS1 games to be removed from PSN.

& any word on what the P4 Arena add-ons are? Wouldn't be surprised if it was just the DLC colors/glasses and announcers.

Yeah, from what I understand they cut about 2/3rds of the game world so that would be awesome if they did. It's definitely my GOTY, but I'm betting most sites will overlook it because of Diablo.

Sony doesn't publish every single game on their service...they can't just randomly have sales on other peoples games.
 
Hmmm Two Worlds II Velvet Edition for $10. I'm not really interested in that game genre, but that's a retail-to-digital sale done right!

I am so glad they put up a demo for Expendables 2. I was slightly interested in it. Not any more. At least I didn't waste $12 :)

Expendables 2 turned out to be somewhat decent I guess. ~10 hrs to 100%, and I even wrote a guide for it on ps3t.org. I don't like how the auto-aim setting is so high that your bullets go nowhere close to where you're aiming, but I suppose that makes for more streamlined play.

I preordered Sound Shapes, so I guess I technically bought my first Vita game (without owning a Vita).

WfC was indeed good fun, and I usually don't care for shooters.

Only other good TF game was Armada back on PS2. Shocking, because it is based on my least favorite TF toy/show series of all time, but the game was just damned good.
 
If KoF is a decent amount cheaper then the disc version, ill get it. If not then ill just get the disc version.

Also, that day 1 dlc for persona 4 arena better be free lol or something not important to gameplay
 
$10 for Two Worlds Velvet edition sounds great. I wasnt going to buy it but $10? What the hell.

Also played the demos of Fall of Cybertron and Expendables. Fall was okay. Brings back memories from child hood and who doesnt love the voice of Optimus, but otherwise i didnt find it any better than an average shooter. Expendables is rather blah, but I am a sucker for twin stick shooters so I can see buying it down the road, however I also see it being free at some point so no rush there.

If I had to guess it would be alternate anouncer voices, alternate colors, or most likely purchase-to-unlock codes (instead of unlocking through gameplay, just buy the unlockable). This is judging by BlazBlue's dlc.

Probably won't be free (& kind of overpriced, looking at BlazBlue. Seriously, FIVE DOLLARS to change the menu voice?!!), but nothing that'll affect gameplay.
 
The PSN blog has revealed the trophy list for Metal Gear Solid 4.

Ya the list seems kind of odd, since there are only 20 trophies I expected more gold and silvers. But I'm glad they're finally coming.

MGS4 Trophies only use up 810 "points" out of a possible 1230 that most retail games have.

EDIT: Lots of people seem to be saying that this isn't the full trophy set, but just 20 out of the 34 total trophies.

Not a major correction, but most games have about 1,050 points, you're probably looking at games with DLC.

But anyways, there are probably some hidden story related ones. Also, from what I hear, getting all the iPod tracks means getting all the emblems.

Yeah looking over the forums at ps3trophies.org, it sounds like the platinum is gonna be quite difficult and time consuming. I actually haven't played MGS4 yet (or 3 for that matter) so I didn't look over the actual descriptions of the trophies much, for fear of spoilers.

Also, I used this guide and saw a lot of the games had 1230, so that's where I got that number from.

Legasista, as far as I know, is a dungeon crawler RPG. Looks pretty cool, and you can customize your character.

Irem was shut down last year, so their licensing deals and such that got their games on various services have been expiring and forcing them to be pulled since then.

It's for alternate colors and various small things like that.

I've actually owned MGS 4 since it launched and still have never played it. The only MGS game I've played is 1 and a little bit of 2. I got the HD Collection so I'm gonna play them all in order. I'm looking forward to it.

I looked at the points at yourgamercards.net. I think the PS3T guy messed up somewhere.

You know, out of curiosity what happens to people who bought it on PSN and want to redownload it? Is it just pulled at a store level or at a PSN level? I mean, would they even be allowed to distribute it anymore to people who already bought it?

They can redownload it as much as they want/need. It's just that it can no longer be purchased after that point.

Ah, ok. Just seemed like once a license for distribution was up, downloading from that source would be illegal. Good to know it's not that cut and dry.

I have Armada for the PS2 but haven't played it yet. I was never into the Armada show, but I've only heard good things about the game. Maybe I'll finally give it a try this weekend to amp myself up for Fall of Cybertron.

FWIW, on my Windows Phone if I buy a game, it gets de-listed, and then I delete it off my phone, I cannot redownload it and am basically SOL. I don't know how iOS and Android are in this area, but thank goodness that PSN and XBLA at least let you redownload de-listed games that you already own.
 
Well guess I'll get rid of my TW2 I just got from GameStop and grab this one instead. Would have liked to play it on my Xbox but at this price the ps3 will do.

Looking forward to it. Gameplay reminds me of Cladun for the PSP. And its only 30$ (According to one of their reps on the forums)
 
i platted two worlds 2, but i havent even touched these similar games i own; dark souls, skyrim, dragon's dogma and amalur reckoning. i had lots of fun with having batman's voice and having a summoner that could summon an army of wolves that would restore my health. i dont know if i can do that in those other games...

Step 2: Claim the reward!

Its a full retail game, i just dont think it got a retail release due to not having english voicing.

Since I'm still fairly fresh in PS mobile platform, how long have the Ys psp games been $15 each? I thought they were more
