Tomba!!!! Woooo! Time to get a 32GB card.
$72 at Amazon right now. ;)
The new PS Blogcast is out now, so here are next week's releases:

...

Games
Bioshock
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
The House of the Dead Overkill Extended Cut
Zen Pinball 2 - Free - Compatible with all Zen/Marvel Pinball Tables

...
I don't know when this started, but there are now PSN previews on the official PS forums. It only lists games and isn't as detailed as the blogcast.

Modern Warfare 3 will be $59.99, while Bioshock and The House of the Dead Overkill Extended Cut will be $19.99 each.
On one hand, I really want the card. On the other hand, I shouldn't be spending money like that, ugggh. I did say I'd buy one as soon as they made Tomba! available for the Vita though.
Just stick with a 16gb, it's easy enough to transfer content back and forth between your Vita and PS3/pc.

Keep an eye out for AWD deals!

I'm been super waiting for Zen Pinball 2 to show up. Maybe I'll even buy all the tables...nah.
I'll get Greed Corp too, I guess. Its 2.50 with Plus...worth a try
Any deals on PS+ these days? I'm gonna need to renew really soon.
I get mine off eBay. I usually can get them for $35 - just have to keep trying.

I'm thinking of getting Hydrophobia: Prophecy (75% off) and Space Channel 5 Part 2 (70% off)... any thoughts on those two games?

Also, how likely might it be for a special edition Move Bundle to come out at the same time as or soon after Okami HD? Of course it's going to be a PSN game so there will be just a code, and not a disc, but I wouldn't mind buying an Okami Move Bundle. Hell, if it was Okami-themed, I would even get it full price. *GASP*

I'd say extremely unlikely.

Hydrophobia is an okay game for that price, but it has been this price for a long time for a reason. It is not a good game. Its just a time waster if you really dont have anything else to do in my opinion.

Agreed. I played it for free through PS+ and I want my money back.
I'd say extremely unlikely.
Thanks. I'll be looking for deals on the existing bundles then.

LOL That tells me what I need to know. Well played, sir. :applause:

Damn you RPG!!!!! Haha ninja'd by 2 mins.

And nice to see we're getting Double Dragon. Would have rather had Retro/Grade, and still really REALLY hope we get Hell Yeah, but better than getting nothin'
Any deals on PS+ these days? I'm gonna need to renew really soon.
I haven't seen any lately, but remember you can also buy a $50 PS Card and renew through the store if you can find a deal on those instead. I'm hoping they offer something extra soon so I can add another year to my sub.
I'm hoping they offer something extra soon so I can add another year to my sub.
I can't recall exactly when it was... sometime around August of last year, there was a promo to get an additional 3 months of PS+ if you redeemed a 1-year subscription. I'm good until March 2013 but would totally go for another year right away if Sony decided to bring that back.

i got 100% on hydrophobia and i don't know what happened.
i got the highscore on arena mode by just splashing the water/controller back and forth for a few seconds. lol

I haven't kept up with the thread the past couple weeks. Is Borderlands going to be free for PS+ members? I didn't know if Frisky just forgot to add the price or what.

Anything listed under Games is free, as stuff they charge for is listed under Deals.
Yeah, it'll be free.
Thanks! I'll probably trade in my copy when I go to Best Buy later today.

The Drop for this week:
PlayStation Network

BioShock – BioShock is a narrative-driven action experience that allows players to do the impossible as they journey through an amazing, immersive and terrifying world. Caught between powerful forces and hunted down by genetically mutated citizens, the player will come to grips with the mysterious and fascinating world of Rapture, a distinct Art Deco underwater utopia gone mad. BioShock not only challenges the players’ capacity to adapt and survive, but brings to question their values and commitment to the inhabitants of Rapture. With smart and adaptive AI, no encounter ever plays out the same, while numerous customization options provide gamers with an experience that adapts to their playing style.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 – Co-developed by Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games, Modern Warfare 3 delivers a full assault on gamers’ senses, including an intense single-player campaign that picks up immediately following the events of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and escalates into World War 3, as well as groundbreaking upgrades to the beloved Special Ops like the all-new Survival Mode. Special Ops serves as the perfect springboard to Modern Warfare 3′s re-imagined multiplayer, featuring the series’ trademark visceral gun-on-gun combat, a revamped pointstreak system with the introduction of “Strike Packages,” devastating new modes like “Kill Confirmed” and other gameplay enhancements, new features and a bevy of new weapons, equipment, and perks.

The House of the Dead: Overkill Extended Cut – It’s survival horror as it’s never been seen before! The House of the Dead: Overkill is a pulp-style take on the classic SEGA light-gun shooter series. The game takes place as Special Agent G — the hero of The House Of The Dead series — is given his first assignment fresh out of the AMS academy. Teamed up with hard-boiled Detective Washington, they are sent to investigate stories of mysterious disappearances in small-town Louisiana. Little do they know what blood-soaked mutant depravity awaits them in the streets and swamps of Bayou City…

The Extended Cut of The House of the Dead: Overkill presents the game for the first time in full HD with 3D support and PlayStation Move compatibility on the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system. With all seven stages of the original re-mastered and two brand new scenarios added to this gruesome shooter, the ‘baddest’ just got bigger!

Zen Pinball 2 (Also on PS Vita) – The sequel to the popular pinball game by Zen Studios, Zen Pinball 2 features an abundance of exciting new features and updates, making it the premiere pinball platform on PS3 and PS Vita.

PlayStation 2 Classic

Suzuki TT Superbikes: Real Road Racing Championship – Suzuki TT Superbikes features more than 50 vehicles from all over the world, and includes the world famous 37.73 mile Isle of Mann racetrack. For the highest level of realism possible, the course itself has been mapped using data supplied by the government and data captured by the development team. In addition to the traditional racing, the game also features a “Mad Sunday” mode that brings riders from all over the world to test their chops on the mountain. Supplementary modes, such as two-player split-screen and sidecar multiplayer are also included, as are bikes from all classes — from 125cc all the way to the F1 1000ccs!

I am so excited for Zen Pinball 2 on the vita. I can't decide what tables to get. The new PvZ table is a must. I will probably also got Sorcerer's Lair and Epic Quest.

Pinball is the perfect game for a handheld. Anyone else looking forward to this?
I really thought Bioshock would already have been on PSN.
Yea when I saw that I assumed the point is its free for ps+

Bioshock 2 has been on store forever, I guess the summer months are slow in terms of new releases anyway

I predict
Bioshock will cost $19.99
The House of the Dead: Overkill Extended Cut $19.99
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will cost $39.99 ha

Really excited for this. It should be about 1 GB for all the tables on the Vita, so I bought a new card in anticipation of this release. I'd recommend the $10 four- table Avengers pack, the Captain America table and Paranormal table as well. You should definitely pick up Epic Quest and I'm sure PvZ will be great.

unlikely as modern warfare 3's MSRP is $59.99

I'm psyched as well. I already have all the Marvel tables, but I think I'll get the PvZ and Epic Quest tables to go with it. With most of the PS1 games working now, and Zen Pinball coming tomorrow, I'll have plenty to play on my Vita.
While not really a deal thing, I've been testing my Elgato Game Capture HD this weekend and my first test for PS3 capture is for Dark Mist on PSN, which is sort of a dual-stick shooter from Game Republic (Folklore and Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom) on the Japanese, Hong Kong, and European PS Stores.

This game looks good. How come it came to the US.

Zen Pinball on Vita? WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
Nice!! Looking forward to them...

...but not as much as I'm looking forward to Jet Set Radio in a week. This is the game that inspired me to pick up aggressive inline skating.
I couldn't agree with you more. But I'm leaning more towards getting the Vita version over the PS3 one. Which sadly means I have to wait yet another month to get the game

I'm hoping against hope for some sort of a deal on Zen DLC tables for PS Plus to coincide with Zen Pinball 2. Not crazy about having to rebuy all those tables I bought for the 360, but with a discount, I might.
They still sometimes throw in surprise discounts along with the Store Updates, right?

Which, correct me if I'm wrong, are playable in Zen Pinball 2 when it releases.

But I too would be interested in some deals on DLC tables.

I'm pretty sure when the Marvel tables went free, there was a PS Plus 50% discount on Captain America but I didn't see the need to rebuy the table then (i.e. pre-Vita)
