I know I'm late to the party but I recently picked up a copy of :ps4: Diablo 3.

Encountered my first Nemesis. Those drums, man. Those drums. Didn't really know what was happening until it was too late.

Can't wait to run into one again. Fun stuff.

anyone else have an issue where when they turn on their ps4 all the ps plus games are locked says needs to update license or something. takes like 45 seconds

 
I preordered mordor digitally is that extra content just included with the download because the in game options to download content dont do anything when selected the the store option is just for the season pass

 
in space we brawl looks like something i would be interested in.  hopefully the price is right!

One of the most fun fighting games. You duel with swords and u gotta get to the left side but the other player has to get to the right side. So there's alot of chaos that happens. Your goal is to get eaten by the big Nidhogg creature and then u win. It has cross online play with PS4 and Vita also.

 
I wonder if TWD S1 will run better on the PS4 than it did on PS3 and 360.  I'd probably get it in a few months if there were no framerate drops.

 
I am interested in getting Diablo 3 for the PS4 based off of all the reviews I have read.  This is not a game I have played in the past so I was looking to try a demo before spending my money on it.  The only demo I was able to find is for the PS3 which I have read is not quite as good as the PS4 version.  Is anyone aware of where I can get a demo for the PS4 version or is the PS3 demo close enough to let me know if I will be interested in the game?  Thanks

Diablo 3 may not demo too well depending on how much of the skills and loot you'll be able to see. If it mostly shows off basic gameplay, it may not be too effective of a demo. I bought the PS4 version day one and had never played anything like it before and really enjoyed it. I am currently sidetracked by Destiny, but it feels like a game that will be easy to go back to and mess around with here and there since it's not heavily story driven and because the gameplay is pretty simplistic.

Pick up and play is generally pretty easy. Any current quests you have are displayed to you when you come back to the game. The in-game menu also tells you where you need to go and the map will also show you a general direction as to which way to go towards the quest goal.

While reading reviews can only go so far, the dungeon looter genre is pretty generic so even if you can get a simple gameplay from the demo, it is very representative of what to expect. Skills and equipment though is basically why you play these games. There's a lot of focus with the end game and things to do after that, so there is plenty of gameplay to keep your interest should you like this type of game.

Some solid releases tomorrow. Nidhogg and its glorious soundtrack will be mine. Vita minecraft is a nice treat. Peggle 2 is awesome. And, yeah, hopefully they come through with a better running TWD. I've held off playing season 2 for that reason.

...lol, still no mention of Driveclub, I see.

The is a setting that has to do with power savings. It is confusing. If you can't find it let me know and I will find it later when I am home. I had the same problem too.

Whatever you have 'use wifi in powersave mode' set to, change it and see if that fixes it. It should. If not, try a full powerdown too and reboot with the setting changed. Some people have real issues getting this to work; mine downloads in standby just fine. The setting is worded in such as way that you can interpret it to mean it's opposite.

Edit -- Mine is checked, for the record, and vita dls even in standby.

Several months ago, there was that thing where Final Fantasy XIV showed up as "free" on PS4.  Someone here mentioned it, so I added it to my library, and I'm downloading it now...

For those of you who did that, is it possible to play the game upon buying a subscription?  Or will it still require you to pay $40 for the game?

I ask as I'd be interested in paying $15 to check it out for a month (or, as it'd more likely turn out, a week or two).

You have to pay for a license and a subscription. All you got was the client.

 
This week's .99 movie rental is Freelancers starring Robert De Niro and 50 Cent.

The $5-to-own movies have a decent selection of horror movies including Scream, Last Exorcism, My Bloody Valentine, and Evil Dead 2.

On the PS4 you can hit the Options button and then select Information to see the overall download progress.

 
heres hoping for some vita sales but highly doubt it. Worker at best buy told me they are going to clear out the remaining Vita stuff this black friday (best buy will not longer carry vita games instore) would suck if that is true. Then again they only have what 10 games now

Nobody really carries them anymore. Toys R Us has them bookended at the very bottom of the Ps3 section. Digital is the way to go for Vita nowadays.

I was at a Wal-Mart on Sunday. All their Vita games were at the bottom of the glass case piled together...and you really couldn't see what they had. Man I'm going to hate myself when I jump on the Vita bandwagon late. But I just spent all that money on PSP stuff. In my defense, I bought a PSP and and like two dozen games for the price of a Vita (average AWD price, not retail but not Cowboom).
