I wonder if they'll do one more flash sale before this promo ends...still have about $30 left to spend after the PS Protection Plan and Transistor - which is pretty fun for the first few hours I sunk into it.

 
The promotion ends just after this weekend and we're coming fresh off a flash sale the previous week. Why don't they just make everything in the store free? All they have is money.

Also hoping for one last good sale on the 28th.  Might have to get Freedom Wars or Pre order Bloodborne digitally to hit the $100 mark.

Still debating whether it's worth it for the $15 back.

 
All of these digital sales are pushing me to finally upgrade my PS3's hard drive, but I'm having trouble deciding which one to get. Looking over Newegg & Amazon I found a few options that look decent:

Those are all 5400 rpm drives, anyone got recommendations for 7200 rpm? edit meant to quote the links to the hard drives.

Does purchasing a year of PS+ count towards the deal?  I can't find anything on whether it is or not.  If so, I should be pretty close.

Long as you buy it off the SEN store and don't redeem a pre-paid PS+ card. I wouldn't go that route though unless you're desperate to get to $100 since last year everyone and their mother had year subs discounted to $30 on BF.

Yes, if you purchase it through PSN. If you buy a card at a store and enter a code it would not.

Not much point in getting a 7200 rpm HDD. I would try to keep it to 5400 for heat. When i was doing research the WD blue's were the most recommended. I cant find the link to the one i ordered a year or so ago ut any of their 5400 rpm ones should work good. Get whtevers on sale. I wouldn't recommend seagate at all

Any news about Driveclub? Is it safe to assume it won't be related to october's ps+ instant games collection but to a ps+ subscription in general? (if it eventually is available)

I'm not totally sure what you're asking, but it'll definitely be available at some point. Once it goes live, my guess is just like any other ps+ release you'll require a ps+ sub. If you're asking if they're going to see if you had an Oct sub to get access to it, I seriously doubt it.

Guacamelee Super Turbo Championship edition is only for PS4, correct? I've been wanting to get it and that edition is on sale next week.

I hope Walking Dead goes on sale.

I have Persona 4 Golden, is Personal 4 worth it on sale?

Is it a price drop or a perminant sale?

 
I'd like to try the first Costume Quest before jumping into the second game but it's listed as full price on the store. Maybe I'll check out the demo or wait for a sale down the road.
 
Note to self: finish costume quest.

I somehow have it on PS3 maybe it was a ps+ title at one point

I wouldn't get Persona 4 if you have Golden. Golden improves on everything and really obsoletes the old game.

Costume Quest 1 is 33% off on Amazon, but you need the On ice DLC for the full story.. since the DLC leads into the story.

Really really really tempted to get Tekken 6 for my Vita. I've never been a huge fan of the series, but the price is so low and there are so many characters!

 
Well, Ridge Racer PSP is still at $14.99, and there have been no replies from Sony on the blog to commenters pointing it out either.

yea sorry think some other people were talking about 7200rpm. I actually think the 500gb version of that one may be what i have been using for a while now. Ony thing is if your not in a hurry i would wait for a bit of a sale. They dip below $50 quite often i think. Its actually a couple bucks cheaper over on amazon right now.
