Just tried demo of ncaa 14 before buying it, holy crap is it ugly

I mean it actually looks like a ps2 game- insanely terrines compared to any last gen madden

Anyone else flabbergasted at how terrible a 2013 sports game can be? No vita or 3dd sports game looks worse imo

If you have any interest in UFC and have played any of them before. I would say yes that it is worth it. I spent full price on the game and then later sold my physical copy to get the download version. Compared to previous UFC games, I think they are getting better with the controls. DO NOT skip the beginning tutorial or you will be lost and angry when you get face rolled.

i only played the demo but i broke it doing... body kicks i think? spam win in like 30 seconds every time. dont know if thats a problem in full version, but it turned me off. 13 is hard to resist though.

 
I turned on my PS3 for the first time in a month, updated the firmware, tried to open the PS Store, which had auto updated before, and now my PS3 has crashed with a flashing red light that won't go away even after I unplug and replug the system back in.

Edit: Never mind about not being able to purchase, just took over 10 minutes for the buy links to show up on my DSL connection.

Any advice on my system? Is my HDD borked? I had bought a 500GB one to replace this now 5-year old 250GB drive last year but just hadn't gotten around to doing all the transfer stuff.

I was all ready to spend $100 on PSN today, but now that it's time, I'm hesitating. I was planning to get the Atelier Plus games but they're $40 each. Last time they were on sale(the only time afaik) was during golden week this past year. Their prices went down by $12 each for Totori and Meruru to $28(not counting PS plus). If they go on sale again for the same price, then it would be better for me to wait. B-but what if they don't? I don't have a vita yet so I'm not really in a hurry.

I'm not sure why everyone was/is banking on a cyber Monday sale I have never remembered there being such a sale and besides the Black Friday sale goes into Monday.

I felt that the demo was kinda broken, it plays a bit different on the full version. A bit more polished.

I'm glad companies are still releasing demos, but bad/broken demos tend to shy people away from the full game.

 
great...I lagged it and now it's OOS everywhere.  Should've just bought it when it was available this morning

oh well...I guess I'll just be responsible and do my homework or something

 
we have until midnight tomorrow to hit the $100 mark, correct?

I waited until the last day in october and still got the $15 back.  just making sure I can assume the same will be true tomorrow

UFC is hot and i am not good at fighters this was easy to pickup and have fun but i hated the demo...

Bought Call of Duty Digital Bundle, Awesomenauts Assemble and Resogun Heroes Expansion.

I loved Resogun so I don't mind paying for the expansion and I've been meaning to try out Awesomenauts and for abotu $5 why not?

I'll trade in my physical copy of Call of Duty for $44...or possibly get a buddy to buy it for $45  :D/

I bit and even as a casual fan, I'm having fun. It's pretty, the create a fighter is pretty deep, and it certainly feels like a UFC game. It's a bit more sim than I'd like and the controls have a steep curve, but it's not impossible to pick up and have fun with.
 
US never does the 12 Days of Christmas sales.  Which is fine because they're usually overpriced full retail games that are still too costly even when they're on sale.

Yup full game was great the demo made me not want to get the full game but a friend nudged me to buy it. 100% Happy

 
well thats kinda fucked up I bought gta5 digitally over the weekend to get in on the $100/15 deal, today I notice there is a GTA5 bundle that includes the 500k GTA online card for free.  I think it just got added today too.  Screw you too, Sony!

I'm glad we're getting four weeks of sales, of course, but I hate when they announce a multi-week sale like this but then only tell us what's going to be on sale one week at a time.  I get why they do it, but with previous sales like this I often don't buy as much the first week or two, hoping the last week or two of the sale will be awesome.  However, if it's not, they lose out on getting money from me during the earlier weeks!

But with my backlog, it's pretty much only their loss, I guess!

Disney sale is shit, a bunch of PS1 classic licensed games based on Disney movies. Lego pirates of the carribean, split/second and tron evolution for PSP

 
Gonna grab Far Cry Classic once the price drop shows.   Thanks for the link to the sale details.

I might cave in and grab the two Tales of Symphonia games.  $8 each isn't bad.

PS+ for the month doesn't look too bad.  I already have Deadly Premonition: Directors on disc, Ultimate version digital and director's cut on steam.  But other than that I think the rest aren't already in my library outside of a couple Hitman games I have on steam.   It'll be good to have them on a console too.
