I haven't turned mine on in awhile either. My ps3 got moved to the bedroom to be a Netflix machine since there hasn't been anything on sale of interest in awhile and now that I have a 360 again I tend to go with it.

And I picked up a cheap wii u a couple weeks back. Mario Kart 8 is so much fun. I haven't had fun with MK since the N64 days and MK7 didn't really do much for me. And I never got to play MKDD much. Then there's wind waker HD and Mario 3D World.

Same here. The last game I played on the PS4 was Infamous: Second Son. I got Watch_Dogs but after watching my cousin play, it didn't appeal to me. I might go back and play the Evil part in Infamous to get that platinum and try out Strider. I just took my Vita back out and started Dragon's Crown.

I was waiting for either a game or price drop that would make me get the Wii U. MK 8 was that game. I never had this much fun with Mario Kart since the Wii version. My son loves it.

You don't need to be in the Dark World for the event. You need to make sure you sign in to PSN before you go in to No Heroes Allowed. I went in to the store, let my Vita sign in to my PSN, then launched No Heroes Allowed. It also seemed like it needed to download the information for the event. I launched and went right to single player, and it wasn't there, backed out to the main menu, went back to single player, and the event was on the normal map. Unfortunately, there isn't any kind of progress bar or notification that it is downloading or accessing event information, it just shows up when you enter the map, and then you get a message about a new event.

You need top 250 for the best rewards in this event, don't think I have a shot at that, especially starting this late.

i was afraid they would drop the number on the top tier. i finished in the 600s on the last one, but that was with only my initial run of it. i'll see what happens this time.

So yesterday, I put a 500 GB hard drive in my PS3. I saved all of my game saves to the cloud, but Demon's Souls, Dark Souls II, and Assassin's Creed IV couldn't be saved to the cloud. When I hit select all the check box was greyed out for those games. Is there any way to get those saves on my new hard drive?

I've saved my Dark Souls II save to the cloud so I know it's possible, the other poster is probably right that copy-protected saves have to be uploaded one at a time. Though you won't be able to pull them back down from the server for 24 hours.

It will be interesting to see if releasing the whole load of PS+ games at the start of the month depresses digital sales for the first few weeks of the month.

That doesn't surprise me in the least. The Japanese market has moved away from console gaming for years now. Mobile gaming is their mainstream platform now, with smart phones leading the charge. I'm not surprised that the Vita is outselling the PS4. Hopefully, that will lead to more support for the Vita platform from the developers, leading to more top quality games.

With regards to the PSN weekly sales, I think it was a bad idea for Sony to move away from their weekly Plus release schedule to their once a month release schedule. The weekly release schedule allows Sony to advertise and have weekly sales to promote more titles that otherwise no one would ever buy. Now if Sony comes out and still have those weekly sales events, this argument would be rendered moot.

What Sony PSN misshap? The lack of a great sale is not a misshap. Sony has had some great deals, sales and free games in the past and there is nothing to indicate that won't happen again. There can't be blockbuster deals and announcements every week. You have to have lows to appreciate the highs. I'm sure Sony will have a similar sale as MS in a few weeks and people in the Xbox forums will be talking about how MS doesn't care about it's customers and how Sony is eating their lunch.

Years ago I made a list of RPGs I wanted to buy on the cheap (usually B2G1 from GS or EB), using Gamerankings scores. Stella Deus made the cut but I never got around to buying it before I ran out of time to play RPGs. Would probably pick it up if it were playable on Vita, as that's basically the only platform where I've actually finished RPGs lately, but doubt anyone would bother making a port. Same goes for the SMT games on PSN (I regret buying the reprints for DDS 1 and Nocturne, then letting them sit on the shelf).

So my suspicions about the Terraria bug have been confirmed. Don't know why I didn't think to try this before but I have the PS3 version (thanks @yanks) which supports cross-save. Literally 5 seconds after loading it on PS3 the NPC pops up (along with the trophy). Don't know what the deal is with the vita version, but again, the Truffle spawn is very much glitched. Otherwise it's a flawless port so I wouldn't allow it to stop you from playing.

And holy hell at the cost of the Truffle's wares. All this time stressing over him not spawning and I wouldn't have been able to afford any of the shit anyway.

If you select one, that should be all you need to do. So if you select the PS3 version on PC, you should see it in your download list on the Vita.

Thats been my experience with a similar error message when using the store online
