I bought Silent Hill last year during a sale because I heard it was 'diabloesque'.... and it is, sort of. But it just didn't hold my interest whatsoever. Something just felt off... like they had a good idea but didn't quite implement it right or something. Still, worth a sale price to find out if you dig it or not.

Right on, I think I know what you mean. I just played the demo, and it didn't really have the loot-hunting thrill that Diablo brings. Still an okay game that I'll probably buy anyway if it hits $5.

I would be furious if Injustice was the free game of the month, considering I just bought a copy. Honestly with only that and Infamous First Light as my only two games ill take whatever I can get at this point.

Remember when the box first came out and it was actually a really good deal? You used to get three good food items, a large drink, plus the cinnamon twists.

I passed on Freedom Cry but ended up grabbing the Borderlands 5 headhunters.

I want Freedom Cry but won't play it for months at least. Hopefully it will be on sale again by then.

Yeah, I bought this for both Xbox 360 and Vita already. Don't really need it as a PS Plus game on top of that.

Aw, Injustice is cool as far as the game itself goes..... what REALLY pisses me off is that they have the audacity to lock DLC, including several skins, on the "Ultimate" version behind their fucking shitty ios game and/or sell it to you as paid DLC. I bought the fucking Ultimate version because I thought it had all the DLC..... and it's not like this shit wasn't released Day 1 with the vanilla copy.

Thankfully I have a buddy who unlocked everything and gave me his WBID name/password so I could unlock the skins..... but man I was pissed when I found out Terry McGuinness's Batman and New 52 Green Lantern were both still being sold as DLC in the Ultimate edition. Had I known that, I never would've bought it. fucking inexcusable.

EDIT: Watermelon games replied to Colin Moriarty's tweet last night and said it will absolutely come to Vita.

I've got the game on Vita, and the crappy thing about Batman Beyond is that it's just a reskin of Batman... you don't get the Will Friedle voice to go along with it. That's in contrast to John Stewart Green Lantern, who DOES have Phil LaMarr's voice.

I was able to earn them during the last free trial for the PS3. I almost had the platinum as well. They all popped for me. Rented it from Redbox to grab the last couple of trophies in less than 30 minutes after the trial was over.

 
The Konami sale is new this week right? I want SIlent Hill but if it's going to be gone in 2-3 hours I'm not going to jump through hoops to get the PSN funds for it.

wow thought it was just an older type tablet game but guess its new everywhere. I highly doubt i would pay 15 for it even if it was on vita

3.5GB that sounds awful awful big for that type of game isnt it

is little king story worth 9

I am glad on Suikoden and Castlevania, two more games to cross off my PS1go list. 

Now if we could have a flash sale with Cool Boarders 2, Jumping Flash, Vanguard Bandits, Darkstalkers 3, and Parasite Eve 2, I would shut up... For awhile.


As an aside, I've never played Symphony of the Night! I'm happy to be booting it up and giving it a go today!

Pier Solar was that JRPG that they developed for Sega Genesis in 2010. (yes, genesis, yes 2010).

New Little Kings Story --

it's... sort of worth it? I plat'd it. I played a bit of the original version on wii and liked it enough to try it on vita. vita version has a different art style. there is slowdown in specific areas (in towns with a full army) but it never bothered me and isn't present most of the time (since you're outside the towns).

combat is similar to Army Corps of Hell on vita -- you have a pile of soliders attached to your dude, and you 'shoot' them at enemies or obstacles. For example, you switch to your diggers and shoot them at a rock, then switch to soldiers and shoot them at an enemy. There are some tactics involved, but not nearly as much as I'd hoped for. Still, it's fun enough.

Anyway, you go through the world, and by getting new unit types (and improving them) you unlock new areas metroid style (so you need super diggers to get through a massive boulder, etc) or lvl 1 ax men to get through some branches.

You can marry your servants together to get offspring, though i never paid attention to this (you can spam an army at the chapel and it'll auto-find the matches for you).

There's also a fairly good equipment system - you might get a gift like a good sword or ax or bow from doing something or other, and you give it to your favorite soldier. There's a small crafting system too but it's fairly easy.

Same with armor and stuff -- so you end up with some goofy looking servants as you give them, say, a chicken suit (+2 something or other), a frog helmet, and a magic halberd.

I don't remember the story, but i didn't exactly pay attention. You're a king trying to save the world or something.

All in all, it's a fun little game that never quite reaches its potential. If any of the above sounds appealing to you, I'd say it's worth the sale price but it's not 'best of vita' or anything. The plat is relatively easy though you'll need to rubberband your vita for the last trophy (getting some princesses to love you, which requires spending time with them, which means running in circles for 10 hours).

Damn, I bought Dracula X for PSP for full price about a month ago :(  Oh well, I have gotten my monies worth from it at least so far.

 
Anyone planning to get Futuridium EP Deluxe for Vita?  I'm very interested in it, but afraid it might be brutally hard as you progress.  Plus the flashing lights and stuff look pretty seizure-inducing.  :shock:

 
Why does Activision never put the Call of Duty base games on  sale? Seems like they always include DLC in order to jack up the price. games on

This is correct there is no Vita support or even support for downloading psp or ps1 games at all on the PS4.

It will be patched in eventually unless they decide to just say "screw it" to continuing vita suppory

There were a number of vanilla versions on sale in the last COD sale, though the newer games are only available with an added map pack at some point after the launch.

Can anybody recommend the Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 - Revelations DLC?

Or how about Castlevania: Harmony of Despair and its DLC levels?
