They'll both be on Vita today at some point. Just wait until the store is completely updated. I'm waiting as well.

It's the PS3 port of the Vita game that has a number of enhancements, which they call the Deluxe version:

Me too, but this is the first time that it's been on sale and I want to play it before Arkham Knight in June, so I'm not going to wait around and expect a better price and/or PS+ giveaway in the next six months.

Other than that, Valiant Hearts and Entwined are tempting, but nothing else for me. It's amazing how the back of my brain tells me "But when are you actually going to play this?" or "But it might be free on PS+ or cheaper by the time you actually play it!" when I consider buying almost any PSN game now.

 
Was this close to buying both Tales of Symphonia. Even got to the point of checking out, but I held off on pulling the trigger. Glad I did as I wound up buying the physical version from Best Buy with their B2G1. Did wind up picking up Contrast and Castle Storm. 

Unfortunately, tomorrow is my final day of being a PS+ member. Knowing my luck, January will be an amazing month, lol. Well, I am about to have a crap load of hard drive space freed up. In fact, I don't think I will even need an external hard drive on my PS3 anymore. I really hope Sony turns things around with PS+ and gets back to releasing high quality titles through the service. The 9 month period from June 2013 through February 2014 was simply mind blowing. It was just one amazing month after another. Unfortunately, it been all downhill since then. The only game I have really played the last 8 months has been Dragon's Crown. Oh well, what will be will be and only time will tell. I will definitely jump back on board if things improve. 

 
For those considering Trials Fusion, Red Lynx is adding online multiplayer to that game early next year:

Online Multiplayer, coming to all Trials Fusion players as a free update in early 2015, will allow four players per race on the Xbox 360 games and entertainment system from Microsoft and up to eight players on the Xbox One games and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system and Windows PC. PC players will have a chance to test out the Online Multiplayer in beta starting today.

Three Online Multiplayer modes will be available including:

  • Online X-Supercross- up to eight players race on three random tracks, after which a winner is announced based on an accumulative best score.
  • Private Game- up to eight players select which tracks to race and customize race parameters such as gravity of the track, modifying bike speed, or inverting the bike’s controls.
  • Private Game with Spectator- Players looking to watch online multiplayer select the tracks and parameters for the race and invite eight other players to ride so they can kick-back and watch the race. These matches can also be broadcast using streaming platforms.
Multiplayer will also host a global leaderboard that tracks the experience players have earned from the Online X-Supercross mode.

As mentioned the old version is PS3 only, the new version is PS4 only. PS3 version is upto 720P, PS4 version is upto 1080P resolution.

Also best I could tell the PS3 version has 23 levels the PS4 version has 33. It appears the PS4 version includes the levels from the dlc/sequel "Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams - Rise of the Owlverlord" along with a Halloween bonus level.

As noted Suikoden II is live. It shows PS3/Vita/PSP as supported platforms. So no having to go around the world to get it on a Vita. Suikoden I still shows just PS3/PSP. I know folks want this on Vita but it's cool my PSP Go still has some life left in it for new releases.

In for Trials for sure. Valiant Hearts and Octodad are also looking appealing at that price. I am having a game overload right now with my huge backlog of recent purchases, but the prices are too sweet to not bite!

Ugh. I had Suikoden II in my cart a few hours ago through the site but it wouldn't let me check out. It was $5.99 and I'm pretty sure that was an error. I think they pulled the game to change it to $9.99 since you can't purchase it now and it's not showing a price. Oh well, I'll still gladly buy it. Would've been nice to get it for almost half price though.

I'll grab Valiant Hearts for $7.50 or whatever it is too. Seems like a nice deal.

 
Probably in for Entwined and Another World. Was hoping for a better discount on the former but I think it's enough to get my hipster arty game appreciation on. Another World is cross buy so it's worth the pickup on yet another platform. Crimsonland needs to go way lower to earn my money. I can get it on indiegala right now for $2.49 with 5 other games. Also wanting to snag Valiant Heats sometime, but I'll wait for lower on that as well. Kind of surprised we haven't seen as many of the really low markdowns we have seen in previous years so far. Too early yet? I assume they are saving most of the best for last.

I just tried it and was able to put Suikoden II in my cart (US Store) and it had no issues. I went to check out and it brought me to the correct screen and then I confirmed the purchase and it brought up my password box (as I require the password to check out). Not sure what the issue is, worked flawlessly for me.

Still waiting on Strider PS3 to drop in price. Not that I have to buy today... but I want to lock in my purchases today if possible so I don't have to think much about sales until next tuesday.

Damn, I wanted Valiant Hearts but I only have $6.xx and I really don't want put more money in my account right now.

Interested in AC Freedom Cry because of the character but I haven't even played Black Flag yet.

Intercept is just the co-op expansion for Killzone. It's free if you have the Season Pass which is $20. I didn't care for it too much but i'm not a huge Killzone fan. It's fun, but basically just a horde mode that didn't feel like it had a lot of depth or options. I'm sure it can be fun enough with the right people, though.

Crimsonland was about half that price at launch. You guys missed out on a great launch PS+ deal.

 
Blue Estate Is a fun, on-rails arcade shooter for the PS4.  Regular price is $19.99, so it's a steal at $4.  The game has some clever uses of the PS4 gamepad.

Wait, it was $1.25 at launch (half of the price I said I can get it for on PC)? Or do you mean half normal price, ie ~$7? I remember seeing a launch deal for it but I don't remember what it was.

If you use PC pricing as a basis for wether or not you will buy something on a console.....well, you will never wind up buying anything for your console. 95% of the time, games can be found for SIGNIFICANTLY less on the PC side and this is especially true on the indie side. Even if your lucky to see a 75% off sale, it still won't compete with paying $2-$3 for game bundles that include anywhere from 5-10 games.

They are 2 completely different markets with 2 completely different pricing structures. If you enjoy gaming on a PC then you really have no reason to ever buy indies on consoles as your always going to pay significant more for them. The only people that should ever even consider buying indies on consoles are gamers who dislike PC gaming in general, or people who just like wasting a lot of money.

 
It says its being discounted but when i got to check out it shows full price?  Anyone else having this issue?  Am i doing something wrong????

I don't normally, believe me I'm aware that the two ecosystems have very different economies. Have you ever used mobile gaming devices? I haven't had to pay for a game on my iPhone in nearly two years thanks to games dropping to free randomly all the time. I only brought it up because of the timing of the two sales and the great disparity. I greatly prefer console gaming and am willing to pay the necessary premiums for the same content with the better experience. However, my buy prices for console games are usually $5-$10 tops depending on how much I feel the game is really worth and with PS+ discounts being so deep in the past I have trouble paying more than $5 for anything I don't absolutely have to have. I passed on Raiden last week at $10 even though I have no doubt it's worth it, especially as a fan of the franchise, but for me that's just too much still so I'll wait for lower. I will surely do the same for Crimsonland.

It looks to be. It says in the description on the product page: "For one price, get this content for your PS4™, PS3™ and PlayStation®Vita systems. Purchase it on one system and it will automatically appear for download on the other systems at no additional cost."
