Q is in My Little Pony. Also, Breaking Bad. But MY LITTLE PONY!!!!

I tell people that the TOS is best Star Trek but I know in my heart that DS9 is.

On a related note, I bought the BluRay STTOS on Amazon for 65 or 70 during Black Friday.  So happy.

Serious question. Can someone tell me when the last time Music Unlimited was on sale? I think it was $40 for Plus members? Is that still going on? I got the sub last year during that epic $12 sale, and my wife actually uses it just about every day so I wouldn't mind paying $40 for it. I'm not sure if hashes worth full price though.

Sometimes I can't tell who's joking around here. Surely you're joking, or just haven't seen DS9. I mean, Voyager?
Voyager is the one with the chick captain, right? You're going to tell me in the future they let chicks be captains? As a captain myself, that's not something I would stand for.

Judging from the image, it looks to be an import. Also, still not listed on the PS store, which is somewhat frustrating, because she doesn't need another Wonderbook, but certainly better than not being able to find it. Thanks again!
I took the liberty of contacting the seller of the one selling at MSRP. They responded, saying that while the picture shows the UK version, it is in fact the US version. Maybe breaking street date or something; dunno.

Some sarcasm but Voyager is still the only series I've ever gotten into with Star Trek enough to tune in every week. DS9 I just never saw the appeal in and could barely ever make it through an episode.

It got way better as it went on, especially after Ronald D Moore came on board.

Voyager was Gilligan's Island in Space.

And Paris and Mrs. Columbo had future lizard creature sex. Squick!

DS9 had Garak and backstabbing and espionage and death and genocide.

Also Hawk as Sisko!

Forgive me, William Shatner but Avery Brooks made a more badass captain than you.

Also, I LOVE Ni No Kuni!

Haha that is them singing that song? Man, what a terrible song. Thanks for reminding me of its existence.
Wow... keeping in mind the feel of the game and taking into consideration some of the songs that have been made for video games, I think it was pretty damn good. Not really my taste, but still not bad.

They abandoned their core consumer to focus on casual gamers and now that chicken has come home to roost, so no I won't shed a single tear.
This is the way I feel. By not adapting and branching out the games on their consoles to their aging and developing customers' tastes, they basically said "see ya later, tell your kids about us". Yes, they have some unique games that are great for all ages, but why would you ignore the requests (and sometimes downright pleas) of your customers? People begged for an online service and they resisted it for awhile. When they finally did, it was a watered down system that was more of a bother than it was worth.

Ugh... its like remembering a great girlfriend that you had to break up with because as you grew into an adult they just kept being a kid...

I also got it back when it was $12 and I like it a lot. I actually tried to buy another year when they had the sale you're referring to and it wouldn't let me because it said I had already purchased it. I'm not sure if it was just a glitch in the store or if it was a deal restricted to new members only, but I didn't push it to find out.

They recently offered me 3 additional months for $1 a piece in an email offer, so keep a lookout for that. I think I got it around a month ago though....

Did you purchase the special One Year offer for Music Unlimited? Add 3 more months for only $3 or just $1 a month! Learn more here: http://bit.ly/HuICi8

I posted about this a while back, so I don't know if it's still active or not.

Bought NHL 14, and on the fence for MLB 13. I already own 09, 10, and 12. Don't really need another roster update.
I was going to but get it after buying and trading it at least a half dozen times over the summer but 14 comes out in like three months.

Uhhh.. I consider myself a Geek.  But yeah, I guess nerd covers it...

BTW I didn't care for Janeway.

Awww, don't get offended.  I'm a nerd too.  Granted, I'm a super fly ass nerd while you guys are some nerdy ass nerds, but it's cool.  We're all family.

Any opinions on Spelunky? I hear such great things but the Vita demo isn't wowing me so far in the tutorial.

Debating paying full price (shiver) for Ys I & II and Felghana to play before I open this Memories of Celceta... anyone have opinions? It's $15 per so $30. It ain't the half price they were last week but they never go on sale.
Not sure if you do PC gaming, but the Ys games typically go on sale at least once during the seasonals on Steam. Something to consider.

Spelunky doesn't really change all that much.  If you don't like the demo, it'll only get harder.

@Thermo I do Steam games.. but lately I've been on a PS Vita rip and I like it's portability.

NHL 14 probably won't change your mind, but saying "I hated it." says absolutely nothing about what you didn't like about it that may or may not have changed since then.

I just said I disliked how the game felt. It was like two years ago, do you want me to go in depth with a late critique two years after the fact?

If I remember correctly, the skating felt very loose and it seemed like I had very little control over where I was going. I'm an old fashioned guy and the right analog shooting was too complicated to me, but switching to the button press shooting method wasn't allowing me to deliver the shots I needed. Sometimes the ice was really cold and it almost gave me frost bite on my toesie wosies. It seemed as if the opponent AI was very hard, even with sliders adjusted, but my team AI was skating into walls and fornicating in the penalty box. Sometimes the coach would yell out line change, and we would all start line dancing instead. There was this one kid who would turn the puck on it's side and hit a slapshot that defied the laws of physics and made the hardest of goaltenders weep. Then they won the junior Olympics, but no one gave a shit when they went to that lame prep school and Emilio left. I was drafted very low in the career mode, which unfortunately resulted in poor self esteem ratings for my player. Often, instead of practicing, I would be almost forced to choose the option to spend the afternoons with a bottle of booze and a couple of cheap floozies. This led to a stint in rehab and ended my career far too early. What followed was joining a site called CAG and posting two years later about everything that happened and why I hated the game.

Or we could just leave it at what I said originally. I hated how the game felt.

I tried one hockey game a few years ago. NHL 11 I want to say. I hated it. I don't dislike hockey, just hated how the game felt. Is 14 more of the same?
If it was controls, know there is an option to use only two buttons instead of the complicated regular controls.

On another note, I just finally finished Walking Dead Episode 5. Holy shit. Not gonna lie, it got a little misty in the video dome. I really want to watch the show now.

Yeah, it's kind of hard to know what it means when you say you didn't like how it "felt." Just saying you didn't like the right stick controls and the simplified button controls weren't much better for you is more helpful to those that want to offer some help. You don't have to write some long-winded critique, just add an extra sentence without snark or sarcasm that explains what exactly you mean. It's not that hard.

I'd say to skip it based on that extra bit of info. I don't think they've done much to improve the controls for those that can't wiggle their sticks effectively.

Not sure where you picked up on snark and sarcasm in my post. But here's some for ya:

I don't think they've done much to improve the controls for those that can't wiggle their sticks effectively.
I'm not good at wiggling a stick because I got a lady to do that for me, nerd.

next week this lil game is coming out on ps3/vita and its only $9.99 and cross-buy and play ^_^
This game is hard as fuck, and I only played the demo. The 3D effect was actually pretty cool, but...cross-buy seems a tad cooler, AMIRITE.

I don't think they've done much to improve the controls for those that can't wiggle their sticks effectively.

I didn't say you did use sarcasm/snark, but your response was full of it and you have a long, storied history of it.

PS4 FW 1.52 fixes the trophy sync issue that Sound Shapes' cloud sync caused.

:tells someone not to use sarcasm/snark:

:ends with sarcasm/snark:

Caught the occasional TNG episode during it's initial run, and seen most of ToS and TNG movies, but I recently started watching DS9 proper for the first time (Aka Star Trek: Babylon 5), and am up to the start of Season 4. If one is interested in getting into the series' I would highly recommend getting Amazon prime, as it has all ToS, TNG, DS9, voyager, Enterprise, and a few of the movies for streaming for free as a part of that service.

I believe it's all on Netflix, as well.
