hey thanks for being a fucking smart ass pillow bitting little bitch instead of just answering my question. I dont have access to my ps3 right now but when i looked last they had a separate listing for the ps3 and vita version. I dont recall any mention of cross buy.

Anyway im glad there isn't an ignore limit on these forums

A valid point except for that I clearly spent enough time with the game where my views ceased to be opinion and became unquestionable fact.

I am just about done with Hotline: Miami, it is so good I think I will play it through a second time right away. Anyone have any tips for a no kill run?

Even if for some reason you doubt the original post (as you stated the two are listed separately in the PSN Store), if you access the PSN store on your computer just click the "Cross Buy" section and cross buys are in there.

People on the net rage man..... I'll never understand it.  You wouldn't say it to your mother.. don't say it on the net.  Simple as that.  If we had our mom's policing us, you know you'd show just a modicum more of respect towards each other.

Reminds me of Jay N Silent Bob at the end of the movie where they go around and beat the crap outta everyone of those forum posters about their movie.  That was hilarious and reflects the way I wish we could solve some of the net issues out there.

What I have not seen was whether or not Terraria is cross buy.  I will go google it myself though.  It'll solve the question without me hitting refresh :)  I will edit my post with the answer if I find one.

 
I've never played a DW game. How do those compare to OP? I see OP is on sale for 12.50 and DW6 is $20. Seems like OP is the better deal if the gameplay and fun factor is reasonably equivalent.

I agree completely.

And my personal opinion is that Terraria is NOT going to be cross buy, partly because they just put the PS3 version on sale dirt cheap. I doubt they'd throw away potential profits by essentially giving away the Vita version. I'll buy the Vita version regardless, because this is one of my favorite games.

Also did you know Starbound is out on Steam (beta)? Done by the same company, same style . . . and its supposedly coming to the Vita in the future too. Plus I hear they're working on Terraria 2. Good times!

 
I've spent so much time on Terraria on Steam.. it's ridiculous.  They've been planning the additional games for a while.  When they release it, I'll probably buy it.  That's my relax game.

On that note, my original post got modded into the controversy so I'll just say thanks for the info.  I couldn't find specifics on Cross-buy but the Cross-play is rather nice.  I didn't buy it on the PS3 (since I have the PC version).  Shame though, I traded my PS3/X360 when I upgraded... you'd think these companies would be receptive to us early adopt types.

I doubt that Terraria would've been on sale if it were Cross Buy.

Starbound isn't the same studio, but the lead for SB worked on Terraria and they've obviously built something of a sequel to Terraria. Starbound is Chucklefish and Terraria was Re-Logic.

IF you do Call sony every day to make sure they got your recept and payment. I did this with my vita. Send in the copy of amazon thing and thought everything was good. 2 months later i get a refund on my credit card and sony says they never got my recept after waiting 2 months and they just cancelled my warranty

I know you need a save sphere. But when going to settings and memory utility. It doesn't let me save

Touch the screen for a few seconds and you should get the emulator menu where you create a virtual memory card to save to.

Are you holding it down or just tapping it? Holding it down should bring up the emulator menu.

Edit: Nevermind. I forgot that they changed that. Hold down the PS button and click on the settings button next to the game and it should ask you to create a virtual memory card in the Memory Card Utility.

Also of note: the costume DLC for UMVC3 can actually be accessed through a button-input glitch if you have the unpatched version, since it was Disc-Locked-Content and not Downloadable. For those wanting to use the now-blocked, House of M Magneto costume, this is currently the only way to use it.

You lose online play, since you can't install any of the patches afaik, but if all you play are couch matches w/ friends....well....

I never got the $5 credit and was wondering when it is gonna be sent or if I need to complain or what's up. Thanks.

 
Hmmmm. I used credit but that shouldn't have been an issue at all. You get an email with it or auto go into your Amazon Instant Video balance? I guess I'll send them an email. Also I got 2 ps+ subs, so 2 $5 credits or only one per account? lol thanks alot... doh

I got 2 $5 credits for AIV. I bought 2 PS+ and they emailed me codes the next day.

Also, I am probably late to the party again... but I just redeemed the 30 day trial that I received with my PS4 and it stacked on top of my already existing sub. I didn't think it was supposed to stack so YMMV maybe?

There we go... had a $20off coupon for used Game.  Picked up UMvC for 3 bucks.  Now, time to pay 3x that for the DLC :whistle2:

If it makes you feel better, I just bought the two character DLCs ;) Make sure you get the ones that are on sale. For some reason when I search on the Sony Store... it only comes up with the vita version dlc costumes which are $5 each instead of $2.49 for the PS3 versions which works on both console...

They expire at the end of this month, so get with Amazon ASAP.

 
yeah just sent them 2 emails. not really a big deal, but hell $10 video credit for buying something i was gonna buy anyway. crazy i waited 2 weeks but yeah scoured my email and didnt find anything from nov29th to dec 3rd or so, so yeah i got skipped. doh. hopefully they just hook me up. peace n thanks all

It was in the email about the purchase. Check all your Amazon emails again. Maybe you'll see it.

 
Anyone know if Eufloria for Vita supposed to be cross buy?

I already bought it for PS3 and I think it would be a good pick up and play game on the Vita.

Not to start with, as it is more complicated than it may seems. Cross-buy doesn’t quite work as this new version has some new features, and it is non-trivial to update the PS3 port to match. We haven’t decided yet on future bundle deals though, and nothing is impossible. For now it will just launch with a nice launch discount. :)

Well this is where I wash my hands of Knack and rescind my earlier assumption that finishing the plat would be easy. No proper new game + so to play very hard you're starting from scratch aside from whatever forms you had already completed. If you want to continue your existing game with your existing stuff then you can only do so on the same difficulty and as far as I can tell you can't even change your form. You have to find all the treasure rooms in one play through but I still haven't gotten all the parts for the gadget that helps you find them even though I had 12/10 parts for Brittle Knack after beating the game and all but one chest in the first eight levels of my second play through gave me more parts for Brittle Knack. Maybe I'll go back and get some of the quick ones you can do from the chapter select but I'm not doing two more trips through plus the other trophies for the plat. I would rather send off my locked in trade to BBY for $40 tomorrow.

I just hope they realize for the sequel that holding back most the upgrades for a second or third time through the game was a huge mistake. The gadgets and forms add enough to the game that making it so you only start to get the gadgets at the end of the game, and only if you're lucky enough or have friends, and can only use the forms after you beat the game means most people probably won't even bother with ever seeing them. The game's biggest fault is that after the first level you've seen everything the game will do mechanically and then you hold back the upgrades from the player.
