Sweet thanks for the recommendation, I'll grab Limbo now.

Remember Me is mediocre at best but I see so much potential for it throughout the game and wish they took more time to refine it. The story is bland and lackluster, gameplay is very linear and combat is inferior in depth compared to most third person action RPG (GoW, AC, and DMC especially, since it's also from Capcom). However, I really like the setting and environment of the world, and I dig the music.

I bought it from GF for cheap so I don't regret the ride but wouldn't pay over $15 for it.

 
Can't you sync saves in Portal 2 between PS3 & Steam? I know you can play co-op on PS3 with a dude on a PC, but I'm pretty sure your save syncs so you could continue your game on Steam if you wanted.

whining is voicing displeasure incessantly, which is what you are doing. this site is about finding and sharing deals on video games, not about constantly "voicing displeasure." it would be one thing if you "voiced your displeasure" and left it at that, but you feel the need to do this all over and over again. i am not the only person that has pointed it out to you just in THIS thread alone. finally, if your "beef" is with sony, why don;t you do what i said in my first post and complain to them on the blog and stop doing it here?

FF1-4 remakes. Maybe V since I've never played it (though I'd prefer if they ported the iOS version.) I'd get FFT:WotL if not for the slowdown bug. FF9 I'd probably pick up for $5 even though it's ugly as hell now. Possibly Xenogears and Chrono Cross though they've got the same problem.

Yeah, you can! I did this. 'Twas awesome. It also syncs your trophies/steam achievements (only ps3 → steam, though).

Yeah I don't know if I am being reeled in here, but their might be a generation gap here and you may have not played some of the older Final Fantasy games... but Final Fantasy Origins, Final Fantasy 6, 7,8,9 ps1 classics for the Vita would be nice.

 
I'm surprised I'm hanging around at #82 on the leaderboard. Been there a few weeks now. If I ever get a Vita and start earning trophies on the bus, watch out.

(I actually do enjoy SW more than any FF game, but that's just cuz I'm not into RPGs. And I am into shooting bees and puffballs at enemies.)

:rofl: LOL. I'm with you. Unfortunately, I do believe it's one of those things you "had to be there to understand". I've been telling myself for years that I'd catch up on all these so-called 2 and half bit "classics", but it probably ain't happening. Chrono Trigger is one that especially taunts me. Playing a lot of these feels like watching silent film. Maybe that's superficial of me, but whatever. I wouldn't recommend the (original) MGS1 or Ocarina of Time to someone now and expect them to see the same brilliance I saw back then.

The two things I don't understand about modern gaming (and modern gamers):

- Emphasis on graphics over gameplay/story

- Obsession with imaginary awards (achievements, gamer points, Steam cards)

- Oh yea, and another one, Call of Duty

 
I've got no problems with pixel art. But I tried one of those early Final Fantasy games and it sucked. Not because of the graphics, but because of random encounters. It made me want to just stand still. Then play something else.

I really don't give a shit what a game looks like.  I just care how it plays and if it's fun.  The only game where the graphics have ever bothered me was Monaco.  It looks like such dogshit I can't even figure out where to go.

Dude, I can't thank you enough. I was INCREDIBLY bummed that my desire to get a deal had completely lost me a chance at the game. Bought the download code and it worked just fine. Considering how many quarters I lost to this game as a kid, $10 is really all the deal I need. :p

 
So I'm currently 49 out of 138 in the trophy thingy.  Seems pretty high since I stopped actively going for them a year or so after they were implemented. I guess I play enough different games to rack them up passively. Some of those people at the top, though... what a sad, tedious existence.

Uhhh, if you're 49 while not actively going for trophies, that means you play A LOT of games so feel free to step down from that high horse.
