gamerz54 ... first you'll want to clear out any cookies with "playstation" or "sony" in the URL.

Second, I'm unsure if you're the "buying from multiple regions" type of CAG, but double-check to ensure the PSN account is your USA one, and not UK, Japan, etc. The reason I'm putting this as a "likely" option is because the website will serve up content according to your IP address, but I'd guess that when you get to checkout, regional pricing / taxes / promotions are taken into account, and you're getting some other region's pricing at checkout.

Third, if either of those don't fix it, then check the other usual items, like using Chrome (since website authors don't check any other browsers anymore), logging in from your consumer ISP (not work), and maybe adding another, or changing, your default payment method.

Thanks for the suggestion. I only use one U.S account. I changed the default payment method, ran the browser in private mode and tried few other tricks but none of that worked. I contacted Playstation support and they are aware of this issue. As suspected, it is happening only to the users who downloaded the BFV trial in the past. They are working on solution. Hopefully they fix it before the sale ends.

Welp, my PS Plus just ran out about 10 minutes ago, so I fully expect to start seeing Plus-only discounts now. Hope you enjoy them!

Mine ends on the 20th of Dec... And I don't plan on renewing it. So if there's something I want and its PS Plus discounted I'm going to likely get it.

I'm letting my PS+ run out as well. I'm sure we'll get some good games this year, but I haven't finished a single title I got this entire year. No reason to expect things will be different next year, and I'm not really excited about anything coming out this year multiplayer wise.

If enough of us do this, maybe they'll take notice and actually do something about it. I'm not planning on automatically renewing, either. I've strategically set my expiration date during the first week of January, which means the last week of the holiday sale (the only PSN sale worthwhile all year). I have a backup PS+ card in case they ever offer anything worthwhile in the future or I want to play one of the Plus games in my backlog (unlikely). And the cloud storage is bullshit, I can just put my save files on a thumb drive.

That's because people that are upset complain, and often loudly as to appear the viewpoint is more common. People that aren't bothered by it won't say anything or get shouted down by the people that are upset so they don't bother. Particularly for "nerd" stuff like video games and comic movies. People complaining loudly have very little direct influence on sales, you can see similar reactions for things like Captain Marvel, Mortal Kombat 11, Pokemon (as you mentioned), etc. Nerd culture makes people think they can crash sales by typing out a vicious burn on Reddit, but it does little in the long run. That does not say that it is directly correlated, like complaints = success, just that they also do not correlate to failure.

There are studies out there that say that an upset customers tells like 3 or 4 times as many people about their experience than a very happy customer on average. The Internet is a megaphone for that.

What's fun is when a campaign that tries to kill sales on something fails, the conspiracies are incredibly entertaining. I just loved all the people that made claims that Disney bought out theaters to juice Captain Marvel to a billion because the incels just couldn't stand the thought that they have little impact on comic movie success now that they have gone mainstream. I'm sure there are a bunch of aggrieved Pokemon "Dexgate" fanboys that are pretending Nintendo went out and bought all the copies of their own games or some stupid shit.

I recently realized that PSN isn't getting a lot of money from me nowadays anyway. Despite frequently checking this thread, the only games I've bought on PSN in the last 20 months are Momodora IV, Wild Guns Reloaded, and that Namco Arcade bundle. So even if there is a PS+ sale, chances are I'm not going to buy much from it.

Everything I've wanted I'm either trying to get a physical copy, getting it on Switch, or it's just too stubborn to go on a decent sale (I'm looking at you, Timespinner).

PS+ has been a less-great deal lately because Sony is coasting into next generation. They did well this time around and they know that success isn't guaranteed to repeat itself, so they're exploiting their position of strength in the short term to build up the warchest. That's just how these things tend to go. All companies eventually take advantage of the install bases they once gave good deals to build. Kinda like how Steam discounts have sucked progressively more and more over the years.

It did. . .objectively. As far as mainline games go, it did not outperform Moon & Sun in sales so while an impressive number sold, it's actually on a downswing from 3DS. Granted the install base of 3DS vs Switch at the time of the game's respective releases, Switch is down about 3 million units so that does factor a bit. So the reality is that yes, it did record sales the way Nintendo spun it but it did lose sales from the complaints.

My Plus ran out, and I didn't notice it until this morning.  But my PS4 is mostly used for single-player story mode games, so I'm not planning to renew.  I've also never liked Sony's policy of not letting you purchase games that you have already claimed on your Plus membership.  Microsoft has never stopped me from buying a Games With Gold or Game Pass game because they apparently want my money.

I don't know why Ratchet and Clank was excluded from the $9.99 Playstation Hits sale. 

Also, I am double-confirming that the Playstation Hits version of GT Sport is not Spec II.   At least not at Target and Gamestop.

I started onkine console gaming with the PS2, and full on PS3. When I got a PS4 I paid for PS Plus every now and then for 3 months. And just got a year last BF.

I'm sick of paying to play online, sick of there being less interesting discounts for plus members and them taking away the PS3 game and not replacing it has made me shift towards single player games only while playing F2P games for any online fix.

For PS5 I plan to get the console when there are many many single player games that will be discounted to $30 to $20 and below.
