You cannot buy gift cards with bby rewards anymore. No more psn no xbox live money or subscription they are all considered gift cards.

You sure about that? I am able to it looks like using $100 in rewards to buy a physical card. I just wanted an emailed card since it was instant delivery.

 
Damn. Just when I was getting into the Space Channel 5 demo it ended.

It seemed good, but after seeing a review it seems underwhelming. The game only checks if your hands are in the right position at the right time. That means if you have to do three shoot motions in a row you can just leave your hands in front of you, and you'll get all three commands correct. A rhythm game that doesn't require rhythm doesn't sound good. You can't phone it in when a game like Beat Saber exists.

I'm going to wait for a sale now.

Does PS Plus still give an automatic 10% discount on top of sale prices?  I thought I remember always seeing the "PS Plus" sale price next to the regular sale price. 

 
It was never automatic; those were deliberate PS Plus exclusive prices. The reason we don't see them anymore is simply because no one is giving extra PS Plus discounts anymore.

I tried in September with Disney and was told no more certs on gift cards. I tried to buy PS PLUS online and it also did not work. Several others here also confirmed. If you do find something that works, I would be interested to hear. I have a $50 cert I need to spend.
 
For anyone who saw my recent triumph of Valkyria chronicles, I’m now curious how hard it would be to play 2 and 3, which were apparently both released to the PSP. Do I have to find a working psp and the games or is there a way to play them on a vita I could find or another option?

chronicles 2 is on psn so you should be able to play it on the vita or vita tv. 3 was never localized. The demo is also on there for 2. 2 is grindier than 1 due to how the new promotion system is individual instead of dumping points for an entire class and requires drops specific drops for each class. It also has a large number of unwinnable boss battles which was what killed my interest in it ultimately.

psp wise from what i remember the only way to download psp titles is to put them on the ps3 now and connect your psp to it.

^ This is correct.  Though I view vcII very much worth playing if you have a vita.  After buying vcII digitally back in the day I had to do the ps3 download > transfer to vita.  But maybe it works directly now, not sure.

Every sega game I play I always to the feedback survey and beg them to release a vcII&III bundle on switch.

May not be worth getting the games coming out but if you have had ps+ for years without a subscription you would lose all access to those games....

 
Having downloaded the massive Division 2 free trial and tried it for a few hours, I can say that it's just not for me. It's well made, it's pretty, but it's just not my thing.

So my final call is no to Division 2 for 3 bucks, but yes to 428 Shibuya Scramble for 10 bucks.

I am interested in Shibuya Scramble, and it's a great price.. but my backlog would crush me if I added any more to it. I'm willing to take my chances it'll be this price or lower again. Probably during Golden Week.

It's not like what he said is some ultra rare opinion. Game Pass is a game changer much like PS+ was when it came out. Sony needs to adapt or they are going to lose a lot of customers to Microsoft. The changes they've made to PS Now are not enough.

I played Conan Exiles with friends a few times and had some fun with it, but I'm kinda interested in buying Ark.

Is it hard to pick up for a noob? I like the idea of taming animals/dinos more than the enslaving of people. Ark just seems like a more fun experience to me, and I feel like it'd probably take up way less space on my hard drive than Conan (94gb) does.

I'd ask if it was worth it or if I should save my money and keep going in Conan but my friends I played with went back to Ark. So basically I'm asking if it's worth it or if I should just move on?

A bit overwhelming at first, with so much going on, and so many options and commands to use in battle, especially during the boss. As an old school, turn based RPG fan, I surprisingly enjoyed the new action oriented combat quite a bit. Backlog be damned, I might have to play this at launch!

 
Yeah the actual gameplay in the demo is not very long at all - so no carryover is not really an issue.  Will probably be a pretty different product at release, with better visuals, customization options, etc.  I knocked it out before work.  Enjoyed it for mainly nostalgia reasons. 

Since I still have that amz preorder from the random coupon several months back, I'll stick with my $56 deluxe preorder.  Plan to sell / trade the disc after playing and hope for an eventual pc version.

Likely isn't accurate representation to the actual game like the rest of the demos they put out and is made up scripted content. I'm still mad about 13-2 because it did that which sold me on the game only for it to have a garbage drop rate in the real game.

thanks, i was hoping SE would release a demo for this before release. i did the Amazon coupon preorder when it was available but have been thinking about canceling it since i wasn't crazy about FFXV and RE3 is coming out around the same time.

Is it hard to pick up for a noob? I like the idea of taming animals/dinos more than the enslaving of people. Ark just seems like a more fun experience to me, and I feel like it'd probably take up way less space on my hard drive than Conan (94gb) does.

I'd ask if it was worth it or if I should save my money and keep going in Conan but my friends I played with went back to Ark. So basically I'm asking if it's worth it or if I should just move on?

Aside from that, I just played through the FF7 Remake demo and that was so fun. I'm even more excited for it now.

This is why all games should have some type of playable demo. So you can try before you buy. Or intensify the hype.

ark is kinda neat I guess. Very similar to Conan where pvp they can destroy your stuff while you sleep. pve was kinda boring for me, taming dinosaurs was slow, you had to feed them or they would die so dont go offline too long.
