I just ordered a 65” from Woot. My credit card offers an extra year warranty on top of what the seller/manufacturer offers so I’m fine buying refurbished. I’m excited to have 4K and HDR for the first time.

Hopefully they fix that problem you’re talking about with a firmware update.

My iPhone works great with my CX other than when watching HBO Max the Dolby Vision is great but the picture either has noise or isn’t 4K.

I knew that Maneater would eventually be a PS+ game, but I didn't think it would be this soon. Still working on Valhalla now, and got Spiderman MM for Xmas to work through too. Hitman 3 on PS5 should also tide me over until more games arrive. I got into Hitman late so it will be nice to play one where everyone doesn't already know every assassination method before I even pick the game up.

Well, there are very few PS5 upgraded games to choose from right now so it was a very small list to choose from. This was probably the one that cost them the least to make free.

I'm not sure what you saw in The Suicide of Rachel Foster. I'm a big walking simulator fan and it was easily one of the worst I played. Not a single thing about the game did anything above being mediocre.

Probably. I think at the end, they made it so you can install/uninstall the campaign/co-op/multiplayer/warzone separately. But even if not, you could probably just uninstall Modern Warfare and install the free Warzone standalone and keep playing.

Honestly as someone that played on PS4 vanilla initially the orchestral soundtrack alone is a huge upgrade. The graphics are worse but it’s a stylized game so it doesn’t make this version look that much worse.

The beep boop soundtrack in the original version of DQ XI was one of the main reasons I put it down and sold it. I get what the composer was going for but yeah, it was a bad call. May have to go back and give DQ XI S a go.

I need Hitman help. I do not even know what I own... I think I have the ps+ verson of Hitman 1... and maybe the free Prologue for 2? Maybe more?

I am dling HM2 currently to see what I have unlocked.

What is the best way to upgrade during this sale? The store is a mess - several items are marked free, but glitch out when i try to add them, other items have prices but when i click in it says i need something else (which isn't even listed).

Can I just get HM2 Gold even if I 'own' hitman 2? Does this allow me to get the legacy stuff? Legacy also confusing...

Any great tactical games I'm missing? I went through the whole sale, found a few possible hidden gems like operencia (drpg)... i played a bit of the first Crew but wasn't feeling it, especially given one trophy required some ridiculous long mp race. Not sure about the sequel.

Not that i need any of this. Too many games, a new ps5, and no time.

I'm not sure what you saw in The Suicide of Rachel Foster. I'm a big walking simulator fan and it was easily one of the worst I played. Not a single thing about the game did anything above being mediocre.

I personally liked the story, cabin setting and the subtle nods to The Shining

The Crew 2 is always online and all you do is drive around and do goofy races with questionable physics. Also has a strange card upgrade system for the various vehicles. There is fun to be had there but honestly there are better things to spend your time and money on.

Thanks. After watching a couple of videos on the differences between the versions, I don't think the graphical downgrade is as severe as I thought. One of the videos also had a comparison of the original and orchestrated score, so I can definitely hear what you're talking about there. I think I'll wait for the potential sale refresh on the off chance of it getting a discount, but I'm going to buy it.

I like arcade racers with solid drift physics. Love pretty much every NFS, even the bad ones. Blur, Split Second, Driver San Fran... but I dislike racers that are too sim or don't have a sense of speed. I'm even willing to play bad ones that get the feel right, like Spyhunter and Asphalt on Vita.

So... still no idea on whether to buy.

Try re-logging in again.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider also isn't appearing on the "Subscriptions" page, but if you search for it in the store, it will be free to "Add to library" once you're logged in to the site properly (which you might appear to be without actually being, so try re-logging in).

So I have hitman on Xbox. But I had a similar situation with “owning” hitman 1 through games with gold. So I bought hitman 2 gold and to get hitman 1 to work I had to install it separate. That triggered the legacy pack to be free and unlocked hitman 1 missions inside of hitman 2. Once I confirmed they were unlocked I deleted hitman one.
So install hitman one, check legacy pack and install it, and if you need hitman 2 missions then purchase the hitman 2 season pass. Now I did this a year or so ago, so please forgive if it’s not accurate as I’m pulling this from memory while on my lunch break.

On a related note of ed-up PS store garbage: it looks like currently, if you add Maneater PS5 to your account with PS+, you won't be able to buy Maneater on PS4. The PS4 version appears "unavailable for purchase" for me now.

Hopefully if we bitch enough about this up, Sony will just give the goddamn game to us on PS4.

Seems to be some new price drops. I grabbed Catherine Full Body Digital Deluxe for $24.99. Thinking of getting Walking Dead Sinners & Saints at $23.99. Both appear to be new lows according to PS Prices at least.

I dunno, most game names usually strike me as generic or some kind of branding. It doesn't make sense to me. Maybe there's something in the story or the mechanics that makes sense with the name. I'll still add it to my library and probably never play it, but I wouldn't consider it better than the average name.
