if the update has not happened on the playstation store, then it would still be good, hence ""Spend $60 in any part of the PS Store (games, videos, etc.) Before The Update on Tuesday, November 27, Get $10 Back on December 6!"
How is that sony music unlimited? worth the $12? I'm thinking of getting it for the vita.
I like it. The Android App isn't too great, but it mostly works and I think it's cool you can listen to most albums the day they come out and decide if you actually want to buy them. I really can't imagine anyone not getting $12 worth of use out of the deal over a year. You'd have to really hate music.
Almost every single person is asking for a Vita version in the comments of the PS Blog. I hope it gets one as well.
They do that for everything though.

Edit: The store looks to be in the process of being updated, so the $60 cashback promotion is likely over by now.

I bit on the $12 Sony Music thing and I'm glad I didn't pay anymore because so far the service has been terrible for me. You can't beat $1 a month, but I feel like I'm getting what I paid for, if you know what I mean.

These sales do usually end with the next Store update but their own website pretty clearly indicates otherwise this time around:

www.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/store-credit/terms-2/

"$10.00 PSN Wallet/Sony Entertainment Network Top Up is available to legal U.S., Canadian and Mexican residents with a Sony Entertainment Network account who are 18 or older and who have spent $60.00 or more using the Sony Entertainment Network Wallet between November 20, 2012 12:01am (PST) and November 27, 2012 11:59pm (PST)."

I'm hoping someone asks Morgan Haro for clarification. I'll probably do it myself now that the blog post is up.
You can still try for it if you want, but you should be aware that you're taking a risk cutting it this close.
I agree. That's why I wouldn't even think about it without clarification first. I also wouldn't even bother thinking about it if I hadn't already spent $15 last Tuesday and will definitely spend another $10 this Tuesday.

I would probably only get Terrover, Peggle, Pinball Arcade, Slambolt scrappers and swords and soldiers on December one day before the sale ends, just because they might do a sale spend X received free credit from X to X.

We never know holiday sales...
I won't be able to check the store until later, are the pinball arcade tables on sale too or is it just the main game?
main game only don't lose your hope the tables might go on sale another time, I have that hope aswell

Anyone have an opinion on Pinball Arcade, I already have Zen Pinball 2, so is it worth getting another pinball game?

So I was just looking in the store and under the Vita Cross Buy section, it says "Buy the PS VITA game and get a bonus PS3 version" and PS All Stars is there for $35. Has anybody bought this? I know it works the other way around when you buy the PS3, you get the Vita version, but to buy the Vita version for $25 less and get the PS3 version free seems like a hell of a deal.

Have they said, or anyone knows when the current free Vita games expire (Uncharted, Gravity Rush, etc)
Have they said, or anyone knows when the current free Vita games expire (Uncharted, Gravity Rush, etc)
No.

You'll know the week before they expire.
Have they said, or anyone knows when the current free Vita games expire (Uncharted, Gravity Rush, etc)
Uncharted, Gravity Daze and WipEout will be there for a while... beyond that we know nothing.
Anyone have an opinion on Pinball Arcade, I already have Zen Pinball 2, so is it worth getting another pinball game?
I've only played it on 360, but it's fairly accurate representations of actual tables, and almost all the tables are classics (Medieval Madness, Funhouse, Taxi, Monster Bash, Ripley's, etc.). If you've never played any of those tables in real life, you might not like it. But if you were ever a pinball junkie in an arcade it will be one of the best things you've ever bought.

That said, some people have experienced flipper lag with the PS3 version, but I don't know if that's been resolved or how common the problem is.

Oh, and Twilight Zone is being released pretty soon for it as DLC, one of the greatest pins ever.

Edit to clarify: the main game comes with Ripley's Believe It or Not, Theatre of Magic, Tales of the Arabian Nights and Black Hole. The first two on that list are unbelievably fun. Tales is pretty great, too. I'm not a fan of Black Hole, though.

i think it's better than zen pinball, i prefer real tables that were in local arcades growing up

I'm pretty certain I read in one Blog post that the current Vita Instant Game Collection would be active through the end of the year.
Anyone have an opinion on Pinball Arcade, I already have Zen Pinball 2, so is it worth getting another pinball game?
It's not as good as Zen Pinball 2, but Pinball Arcade has the advantage of emulating real tables. There's the nostalgia factor there and it's pretty cool to play tables just like you might in an arcade. If you had to pick one, I'd get Zen any day of the week, bit for $5 you'll get Arabian Nights, Black Hole, Theater of Magic and the impressive Ripley's Believe It Or Not table for both the PS3 and the Vita. That's a good deal even if you never bother with the DLC, but if you get into it, there are like six 2-table DLC packs available at $5 each and some are pretty cool.

I'm not at my PS3...but random question:

Are the Uncharted games on PSN? Specifically the first two, I have U3 on disc. And if they are, anyone know how much they are?

Can someone explain how the Instant Game Collection works to me? Do games disappear after each month? Are they no longer free if you didn't download them before they expire? Once they expire do you still get to play them for free if you did download them before they expired?

http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showpost.php?p=10179034&postcount=284

They dropped the bundle for both of them to $29.99 last week. They're huge though, as I recall them being about 20 GBs or so each if that's a concern for you.

They're available to you for as long as you're a PS+ subscriber. No more, no less. If you don't 'buy' them for free prior to them expiring from the IGC you no longer have an opportunity to get them for free.
Can someone explain how the Instant Game Collection works to me?
Sure.
Do games disappear after each month?
It's not consistent. Some of them have stayed in the collection since June and others disappear after a few weeks or more. They always alert us as to what's being taken down with the next update.
Are they no longer free if you didn't download them before they expire?
Yes. That's why you need to "purchase" them while they're free since it requires little effort to do so.
Once they expire do you still get to play them for free if you did download them before they expired?
Yes, you can keep playing them for as long as your subscription is active.
Sure.

It's not consistent. Some of them have stayed in the collection since June and others disappear after a few weeks or more. They always alert us as to what's being taken down with the next update.

Yes. That's why you need to "purchase" them while they're free since it requires little effort to do so.

they work again.
Anyone have an opinion on Pinball Arcade, I already have Zen Pinball 2, so is it worth getting another pinball game?
I actually prefer the "feel" of Pinball Arcade over Zen. I like Zen a lot, and have heard countless debates over whose ball physics feel more accurate, but Farsight Studios' engine just feels right to me. I was never a huge arcade pinball guy, so I have little nostalgia for the real tables, and I think Zen's table designs are very creative, but whenever I play them, a little voice inside my head sighs and wishes they were using Farsight's engine :)

The Pinball Arcade is getting some great new (old!) tables, but track down a copy of Farsight's Williams Collection for PS3/360, as it's a great collection of tables and a tremendous value.

Really tempting to go grab some online codes for that spend 60 get 10 back thing before it expires tonight and go shopping for my new vita that I have coming.

Growlanser
Corpse Party (If I only knew I was getting a Vita when it was on sale:lol:)
Both Grand Theft Auto stories
and fill in the remainder with a PS1 classic.

Got to make up my mind soon granted since I'm in EST I have until 2.59am but I won't be up that long :)
Is the sonic bundle working for anyone who has sonic 2 yet?
This.

I think they were also able to get the funding for the Star Trek table. I don't know anything about pinball, but I like Star Trek so that will be cool when it releases.

Hmm, after some more research it seems like the PS3 version of Pinball Arcade is still pretty buggy. They patched some bugs recently, but apparently there's still flipper lag, balls moving through flippers and walls, goals not registering and more. I'll probably still buy it while it's on sale and hope more bugs gets worked out, especially the lag.

Dam looks like the sale on GTA stories over I guess. Both are coming up 20 bucks a pop now. Guess I'll have to find something else to fill the spot then.

Would anyone suggest getting Okami HD if you already own Okami? I am debating that or possibly some PSOne Classics to reach my $60 for the promotion. Any recommendations?
Cash Guns Chaos is coming up 75 cents for PSN+ users....
