anybody has an idea when will the 3 months PS+ codes with amazon AC Vita get expired ?

Yup, I bought the PSN+ subscription through my vita. I didn't have any money in my Wallet. It automatically added the funds to my wallet first then spent the money in the wallet to give me the subscription. And I was able to check on my subscription, and it doesn't expire until June of 2014. So I did get the extra 3 months.
Unless the current promo is totally different than all the preceding ones, the +3 months only kicks in if you spend 49.99 directly out of your PSN wallet. Redeeming prepaid 1-yr cards (like the ones from that glorious Target error) shouldn't entitle you to anything additional, so no need to feel down Affa. ;)

EDIT: Huh, well I'll be. Checked the PS Blog and HTZ was right; pre-paid cards do work for this promo. I believe that's the first time they've opened it up that way. Sorry for extending false peace of mind Affa!

Redeeming the PS+ pre-paid cards like the ones from Target, do give you the extra 3 months.
Indeed - when I redeemed my last card it showed the new expiration date immediately and it was 15 months after my old one. It might have even shown it when I was redeeming (before I hit submit).

----------

As for the freebie this week, I have no plans for buying Bioshock Infinite so I wouldn't mind the first one free on PS+ since it would go along with the second one we got earlier. But I see why they wouldn't want to do that. But I haven't played any of them yet and having it on PS+ would probably prompt me to start the series (and then maybe get the new one). I'm pretty sure I have the first one on disc laying around somewhere anyway (from some long ago Blockbuster sale ;)).

If it is a CoD game, then, well, meh - not interested.
Purchased another year of PS+ and Vagrant Story. With that free $10 PSN code they gave me recently and the 3 months bonus, this turned out awesome.
good man for picking up vagrant story.....hmm now I want to replay it

so far only the season pass for blops2 for me. backlog too huge to just start grabbing games like journey and whatnot.
No, he's not. Unless they changed things with the new store, credit card amounts go to your wallet first and then it all comes out of the wallet.
That is correct.
Im guessing Crysis or Crysis 2
I really hope not, I have beaten already both and I was not really that impressed with the story mode. IMHO they can't hold a candle to the Bioshock or Call of Duty series story mode.

so the sale on the PS Vita anniversary games and the Gamers Choice winners end with tomorrow's psn update correct? I want to buy GTA San Andreas and a couple of other games but the store is under maintenance right now and it won't let me sign in.
March 12 most likely.
Why do you think the MLB12 Vita sale may end on March 12? If they are doing "new deals each week" wouldn't it end on 3/5 when the next set of deals come out? I guess we may know more details later today, but if someone is on the fence, they may want to decide soon just in case...

There'll be a different set of Vita games on sale starting tomorrow when the store updates.

If the ad banner is to be believed we will have a new set of vita deals this week.

Maybe the shooter is Deux Ex? I mean, it's not really a classical "shooter" but just a guess. Anyway, we should know in a few hours.

As for the Vita sales, I bought the games I wanted (Super Stardust and Hustle Kings) last night, just in case they do disappear tomorrow.

Fits the pattern of old EU+ rehashes, but I doubt it. In that vein, if they wanted to blow us away, maybe Dishonored, but that's too big a stretch, I'm sure. Looking forward to either the standard weekly disappointment or the rare wow.

Hope not. FPSs control like complete ass with a controller.

The promotion starts tomorrow and runs through March 11th.

Here are the free games we’re giving away for PS Vita:

Wild Arms (PS one Classic)

Patchwork Heroes (PSP)

Here are the PS Vita games that are on sale for a 30% discount. If you’re a PlayStation Plus member, you’ll get 50% off:

Army Corps of Hell

BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend
Dokuro
DYNASTY WARRIORS NEXT
Knytt Underground

LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes French

LEGO Lord of the Rings
Orgarhythm
Pure Chess
Retro City Rampage
Sine Mora (with Trial)
Spy Hunter
Street Fighter X Tekken
Sumioni: Demon Arts
Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3

We also added a few more games to the sale, with the following discounts as noted:

FIFA Soccer 13 (30% off)
Madden NFL 13 (30% off)
Oddworld Strangers Wrath (25% off) (New patch details here)

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2013...ary-deals-this-week-including-new-free-games/

So can anyone confirm this? Sony is giving away 4 free PSP/PSone games, but I don't have a vita. Can I redeem these still (whether through my PS3 or the web store)? I'd really like to try Wild Arms

^Way sweet that we're getting free games. Lame that I'm gonna eat $1.50 on Knytt Underground, which I just bought a couple weeks ago at 40% off.

Also note that they mention the current Vita sales do end tomorrow.

There is still one more day to pick up the first batch of sales titles, so don’t miss your chance to grab award-winning games like Escape Plan, Sound Shapes, and PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale at a big discount.

Here's some of the approx. prices, after PS+ 50% discount.

Army Corps of Hell - $20
Big Sky Infinity - $5
Blazblue - $12.50
Dokuro - $10
Dynasty Warriors Next - $17.50
Knytt Underground - $7.50
Lego Batman 2 - $20
Lego Harry Potter 5-7 - $10
Lego LotR - $20
Orgarhythym - $10
Pure Chess - $4
Retro City Rampage - $7.50
Sine Mora - $5
Spy Hunter - $18
Sumioni - $7.50
Street Fighter X Tekken - $20
UMVC - $20

Orgarhythm, Sumioni, Sine Mora, and Pure Chess are all within my price range. I think Sumioni is probably a for-sure buy.

Cool, four games for the Vita. ^_^ I'm down with that, especially Wild Arms. That with whatever else we will get for PS+ makes this an awesome month.

Seems I might end up buying a few games from this sale after all. Damn you, PSN.

Do you get DLC when you buy Vita games on PSN if the retail copy includes them? I'm looking at Street Fighter x Tekken; retail copies come with DLC vouchers for extra costumes (and maybe characters) that are cross-buy with PS3. I don't have a Vita and would mainly want it for my PS3 copy. Would I be getting the DLC if I buy the game on PSN?

haha, thanks! terrible at math (even in its simplest form). I JUST tried the Sine Mora demo the other day, and was surprisngly and thoroughly impressed. Looks good, plays well, and adds an interesting mechanic. Definitely worth that price. Thanks to @pancakesarelove for the recommendation, even if I do still hate suda51.

Hmm, Sine Mora for $7 is tempting, but I can't decide between Vita or PS3. There's no difference between the two (I just know I want it on PSN since it has some exclusive content), but I feel I'd rather have a bigger screen so I can easily all the stuff easier, especially for a shmup.

Sumioni for $10.50 seems decent, but I can't help but feel it'll be on sale again.

This is awesome. I really enjoyed the Patchwork Heroes demo on PSP but never bought it.
Really happy to be getting all these great games for free.

I also will probably pick up Orgarhythm and Sumioni Demon Arts.

Crossing my fingers for a sale on Zen Pinball and/or Pinball Arcade Tables.

No problem. I thought it was really weird that they didn't post the prices in the PS Blog post. I had no idea what regular prices were for most of the games. I'm shocked that Army Corp of Hell is still listed at $40. If it had been price cut to $20 and on sale for $10, I would have been all over it. I would have grabbed Lego Batman and Lego LotR for $10 as well.

I'm surprised you're not PS+.

Swell sale, looking forward to emptying my psn wallet tomorrow. With the spend $50 get $10 back promo I'll be tempted to get umvc3, blazblue and sfxt digitally just for pick up and play convenience (what would that average them out to - like $14 each after $10 back?).
I'm surprised you're not PS+.
I am, but not on Vita. Long story short, made a sub account when I was younger, used it on PSP & Vita, wasn't aware of the restrictions with sub/master accounts when I got a PS3 with PS+ years after I got a PSP. I can get PS+ stuff on my PS3 via master, but not on Vita since it uses the sub account, which is the one I normally use. Wish Sony would allow the ability for subs to be separate from their master account like what Microsoft does with Windows/Xbox Live accounts.

Very excited for the free games. Not really interested in much of the games going on sale though.

I did however notice that at the very bottom they also mentioned Oddworld Strangers Wrath being 25% off. I might bite on that.

I'll gladly take Wild Arms for free. I loved that game when I was younger, but I don't think I was able to fully appreciate it since I was just a kid. That and I never beat it, so I'm excited to get a chance to play it again.
Here's the file sizes for the free games:

Patapon: 183MB
Wild Arms: 299MB
Patchwork Heroes: 229MB
Piyotama: 32.8MB
Thanks for that. Was just thinking about how much space was left on my 32gb card! Believe it's going to be full after this month!

Not sure if you're asking rhetorically, but it would end up being about $16.19 each for SfxT and UMVC3, and $10.12 for BlazBlue.

I would too if I didn't already have it on PS3. It's a great game, when it gets to 50% off or more on Vita I'll double-dip.

Have Patapon on UMD and bought Patchwork. I don't mind having a digital copy of Patapon. Never played Wild Arms or Piyotama.

I don't have a Vita yet, hopefully I can get these via the PS3. (Waiting on that supposed HDMI output version. Also, allow Dualshock 3 support for PSP/PS1/Minis and I might just have to bite on a Vita.)

Nice roundup for tomorrow. Looking forward to trying out Wild Arms for free since it's one of a few PS1 RPGs I never played back then. Piyotam looks fun as well.

4 free games (I've been meaning to try Patapon for years), Dokuro, BlazBlue and Oddworld for me I think... And MLB 13. And Tomb Raider. This is a backlog engorging week...

Hrm, I'm interested in Dynasty Warriors Next but I'm thinking $15 is my ceiling on that one. I don't need to spend any more money on games right now anyway, so it's just as well.
Nice roundup for tomorrow. Looking forward to trying out Wild Arms for free since it's one of a few PS1 RPGs I never played back then. Piyotam looks fun as well.
I'm really excited about wild arms. I passed it up back in the day because of limited allowance. Guess I get to add it to my backlog and hope for a great memory card sale so I can add a bunch of these games.

Haha that is funny. I've always enjoyed math so I'm glad to help.
