I bought Warhawk right when it first came out and sold it a while ago. I would like to nab the downloadable version over the disc, but the pricing is quite different. I know it was on sale for $15 earlier last year, but seeing as nearly every store sells the game for $16, does anyone know of a price drop/ upcoming sale by any chance?

I'm thinking of waiting to activate my PS+ near the end of the month, or when something I want shows up.

Just a question about the PS+ avatar bundles: are these always offered or do they come and go? If I were to activate PS+ now, the Okami bundle is the only PS+ thing I'd buy at the moment.

I believe they are come and go.

The ones that have been there haven't been taken down as far as I can remember.

Say you activate your free PS+ and get access to Uncharted 3 Beta, does the beta end for you when your PS+ "subscription" does or is it full duration no matter what? Wondering if I should wait until the day before the beta hits to activate the free 30 days.
how do i download the ghostbusters movie? I thought it was a free rental due to psn... where do i go to get it or am I already late?
It was a rental and I think that offer was only good for the weekend.
Anybody play Shank? I've been meaning to and at $5 it's $10 cheaper on PS3 than 360
It's a good brawler and there's a demo to check it out for yourself.

I'm on DSL and the demo is the full game at nearly 2 gig(at least when I checked on 360). So I'd rather go on word of mouth before I leave it up overnight to DL
Didn't Sony say there were going to be a lot of PS Store updates as they clear out the backlog?
They cleared it out last week with two big updates. The only things left are a few of the stragglers (Beyond Good & Evil HD and Outland) that will be out over the next week or two. There will be multiple updates this week to put E3 stuff out there.

I played the hell out of the demo when it came out. I felt it was great but $15 was too much. At $5 it is a must buy.

You download the whole game when you download the demo, and then just download an "unlock" key to get the game. Download it and you will be glad you did!

isn't the blackops map pack gonna be out on ps3 soon? blops is already updated.
n yeah, that sucks, i guess i missed ghostbusters, lol, oh well

For $5 I'd say it's a buy. I bought it at full price and liked it, it can be pretty goddamn hard, though. And I mean HARD. The end boss will probably kill you at least once.

Seems some of Ubisoft's stuff on PSN got deals today. I noticed Assassin's Creed 1 and 2 are both $10 each (2 comes with the DLC) on the store for the download versions.

Warhawk is also $10!!! OMG!

I got all the DLC free from PS+ when it started so Its temping me!! Anyone here know if alot of ppls still play it?

I want to maximize my free 30 days of PS+. So I'm thinking subscribing on a Tuesday morning before a bi-weekly update is best. I can DL everything, then catch new stuff in the evening, after the update, then get the next update's stuff in 2 weeks, and heres the tricky part, hopefully get an evening of PS+ with the last update. That would be 2 months worth of content. Of course whatever free game comes with the last update I would only get a few hours with.

Will this work? The only way it would is if SONY doesnt count the day you subscribe as one of the 30, since technically its not a full day.

Also, any idea when the next PS+ update is? Today, or next Tuesday around 5pm MST?

AC2 at $10 is amazing. I got the 360 version for like $25 about a year ago, played through it, enjoyed it and sold it back. For $10, I'd happily spend some more time hunting down the odds and ends I missed earlier.

Anyone know of any current good deals on memory sticks, preferably at least 4gb's? My son just got a PSP 3000 for his birthday and the core pack doesn't come with a memory stick at all.

Hey SSFIV Arcade Edition is up at $14.99, but it says on the download page, that you won't be able to play with anyone who has not downloaded the dlc.

I'm in for AC2 Deluxe. So does the deluxe version include the 3 add-ons from this week's deals or will I need to buy those as well?

Edit: I'm downloading now (400+ minutes to go) it does include the the add-ons.

And just so people know, the sizes for the retail games are:

Assassin's Creed - 7.7 GB
Assassin's Creed II - 6.6 GB
Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines - 559 MB
Warhawk - 835 MB - Tons of updates probably

The game's description says it already includes all the DLC.

Anyone know how the Little Big Planet: GOTY content works? Is it saved to the HDD when installed, or is it directly off the disc? I was thinking about selecting LBP as my 2nd free game and giving my GOTY disc edition to my daughter.

Essentially, I am wondering if my save file and GOTY DLC will still work with the digital download version of the game.

Want the AC 2 DLC, but for 5.50 I feel like I should throw in the other 4.50 and get the game too. Then give away my disc copy or something.

In for both Deathspanks and possibly Shank either way.

DLC runs off the disc, and you need the disc to use the costumes, etc.
Ah crap, time to buy some PSN cards.
just give them your credit card number....err, wait..(haha)

also, is there anyone else out there that flips games to gamestop to buy PSN cards? used games at GS are hit or miss in terms of value (compared to ebay, amazon, etc), but a $20PSN is a $20PSN card. (plus you get PUR points)

I flip to amazon for this reason as their TIVs are almost always better, especially when you include the cost of driving to gamestop for me. Often use kmart coupons for cards too.

I dunno how I spend so much on PSN.... I don't even buy DLC.

It's a good way to get rid of extra credit.

BUH!

I literally just bought Tetris for $10

Well at least I can pick up Warhawk again.

Booster Combo has all three packs correctly? So really it is $15 and you get Warhawk and all of the add-ons?

How long are these PS+ deals good for? Are they until next Tuesday or are they 2 week (or longer) deals? I want Tumble at that price but want to wait as long as possible to activate my free PS+. Thanks!
Also for PlayStation Plus you can download the Magic The Gathering Duels of the Planeswalkers Full Game for free.
Already have it for 360 and Steam but thats pretty darn cool anyways! Good give away! Its a great game to play while riding an exercise bike since it has great depth and is a fun game but does not require twitch action.

If there's a known expiration date on any of the deals, I will definitely list it. The deals are usually there for a month, so anything newer will be around for a while and older stuff is closer to being taken down. We should be getting a PS+ update post this week, so we should know what's expiring within the next two weeks.

Ok, thanks. Looks like I'm in for Dead Nation as pick no 2.
