I love RPG's but between a full time job and a toddler and a wife who also plays games (which means if there's a game she wants to play I can't play it in front of her) it's really hard to get through them. I'm still maybe only halfway through ME: A and I am kinda dreading it a bit because I only get to play about 2 hours at a time so it's hard to get in a rhythm. Telltale games and other choice based games are easier because my wife likes to watch and I can make it through a good section each night. Right now I'm playing Until Dawn, which is pretty good although I find myself wondering why I'm trying to save all these turd teenagers.
I'm surprised you still have any time on your PS4 at all. After I get home I played with kids and by the time they go to sleep, I collapse on the bed, and have around 30 minutes Vita time. Vita is basically a gamer dad's savior. As you can see, going through YS MoC now, such a long JRPGS is only possible on Vita for me. *cough* fuck you Trials Cold Steel 3 *cough*

Vita is definitely a gamer dad's savior... and remote play of PS4 games is a wonderful thing.

Yeah It seems like I do nothing but work lately and days off are used to catch up on stuff like laundry, grocery shopping ect.  I am making a little progress with ys moc myself.  got the forest 26.9% complete which means the game shouldn't take me more than 40 hours I guess assuming its required to beat the game.  I think I am just outside the 2nd town.  Would have been able to enter said town but I forgot to charge my vita.

I remember back when the ps3 came out and it was 2 years old so I come home from work and my toddler who was 2 I believe and found out she jammed 6 discs in my ps3.They weren't just any discs they were from my rurouni kenshin collection.I don't think I could even jam 6 in there even if I tried.

No witcher 3 season pass sale. I wonder if it will be there next week, but I doubt it.

Still waiting for re4/5/6 to hit the $5 mark on ps4.

Nothing on this sale is tempting me. Prices are still a bit high. There is a lot of good games that have come out this month that I want to get, but I just don't buy games on release anymore.

I got an email from the Playstation Store address for a $10 credit from VRV. Anyome know what this is?
I thought it was a PSN gift card, but apparently it's credit for a VRV subscription. I tried to redeem mine via the VRV website and the code doesn't work anyway.

did not work last night when i got email but tried again this morning it redeemed. their couple shows on their mit be viewing but not going stay after the month.

I keep hoping they add external hd support for games on the ps3

damn near filled up my 1.5tb which really isn't hard considering how ridiculous the game sizes were/are (compared to 360 versions)

it might never come

I really gotta stop buying the same games over and over

for different systems
upgrading physical to digital
sometimes vanilla and complete versions
own it on ps3 and 360
then the ports and remakes

in this case the deadspace and bioshock but I do it way too often
I'm in the same boat. I buy the same games digitally and disc for PS4 and Xbox One.

But I stay away from remastered games.

Vita is -perfect- for dads. Like, I can't even say it enough, it's ... perfect.

The number one feature is suspend mode... you can just click the power button and instantly pause/resume whenever you feel like it. Battery lasts ages in suspend mode - I briefly owned a 3ds and it would always be dead whenever I wanted to play. My vita -always- has a charge.

Games are great. And, maybe I'm being a bit shallow, but I love that it looks like a gadget and not a toy. I don't mind playing a vita on an airplane, but I wouldn't really want to play a 3ds. It is what it is.

Remote play! So awesome. i actually don't use it as much as I thought i would because i have an absolutely insane vita backlog [i have like 300+ vita games], but holy crap, it's nice to be able to play ps4 when the tv is in use.

I've had brief love affairs with android, ios, and 3ds... and I always come back to my vita.

Vita really is amazing and underrated. It makes me wish for a successor, but then again, kind of not, because I have such a big backlog on it that I need to focus on before moving to the next gen.

100% agree. Vita has been my second most-played system (behind PS4) since I bought it nearly 3 years ago. I don't even use it for remote play. The instant suspend / resume is the greatest feature of all time. There are times I might only play 15-20 minutes and it's ready to go without worrying about save points, etc. I would happily buy a successor Vita (provided they get rid of the proprietary memory cards). I only wish I had bought the system sooner.

Just wanted to check PSN and it seems they have the Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro PS1 games in their classic list of games now. Although a remake of crash was made I was wondering if anyone have tried or bought them? I wouldn't mind getting them for the Vita as I can play them anywhere when I am waiting on something.

Yeah if its an interactive story based game, my wife likes to watch me play and its easy to get through in a week or two on nights we have no TV shows. So last week I was able to get through Until Dawn. The week before that TWD: New Frontier. My daughter goes to bed about about 8pm, so I can play from about 8:30 to 10:30. But the RPG's or games that my wife likes to play like Mass Effect, Witcher, Assassin's Creed are tough to get through. My wife gives me some alone time on Sundays where I get about 3 hours to play whatever with her and the kid out of the house.

I have Beyond Two Souls in the backlog so I'll be able to get to that one next an I look forward to the entire season of LiS: Before the Storm being released.

My strategy is basically to have one active game I play alone and one active game I can play any time. Of course I'm going to go and complicate it by pre-ordering Battlefront 2 and AC:O with discounted PSN credit to get the 20% off coupon to buy another game for the backlog...

Do you live in some strange time/space vortex that exists pre-streaming Netflix/Hulu/Prime? Because I'm so f'ing buried in shows I eventually want to watch that my tv backlog has somehow outpaced my gaming backlog.

Reminder: The Sale of the Dead sale is supposed to end with tomorrow's update (PS.Blog, Sale page), despite what the games themselves have set for their expiration date, so you should make your purchasing decisions before then just in case they do end for Week 2's sales to go up in their place tomorrow.

Hah, no we have Netflix, HBO and Starz. We have regular cable too but we limit our regular network shows and try not to pick up new shows unless a show we were watching gets cancelled. Then with HBO, Starz, and Netflix the seasons are short or can be binge watched.

Is there somewhere on ps forum we can like post what we would like in the next firmware if there will ever be one o_O

I think there are new Halloween sales. They're just mixed in with the Week 1 sales that are continuing for another week; or at least haven't been pulled yet.

I'm pretty sure Castlevania: SOTN wasn't on sale last week.
