This is a game not everyone has heard of but Juiced 1 for the PS2 and original Xbox has been my best racing game since NFS MW on the Vita. Playing NFS MW on Vita was awesome but after going back to Juiced 1, the controls were so much different and it was actually a challenge. Games nowadays are just being released year after year for their supposed update which is just a different name with different places to race but same everything else. In Juiced 1, the Viper is a beast as it is the most difficult car to control but for how fast it goes, it is worth it getting to know how to drive it without crashing. You can also let your crew drive which is different from other racing games. If your not sure you want to get a game, just look at youtube videos of people playing the game before you buy it.

There are games serieses out there that are beloved, who've had fan for ages drooling over the next installments, and when it's finally going to come out and people see changes for the worse, they still can't help but not get their fix. People don't buy into it because it's a good idea. People buy into it because they don't have any other option.
This is an awful defense.

Has there been any discussion if pausing game update downloads is no longer effective? I feel like in the past I could pause a massive update if I wasn't going to be playing it anytime soon since I have a data cap I need to be mindful of and it would stay that way. Here lately it will stay paused for a few days and then just download whether I want it to or not. Didn't know if maybe a system update broke it.

Very frustrating.

Yeah, that's usually how I fix it when the wish list screws up on my desktop but is working on the mobile browser, but this doesn't appear to be a cache/cookies issue as it's happening on two different browsers that I have cache/cookies turned off on. Regardless, I tried it anyways and it still didn't work. Ys is still there and refuses to be removed. :(
Huh. Mine is different too. For some reason there are three random games on top now and then it alphabetized the rest of the list. It's no longer most recent additions on top.

I agree that it's BS to sell essentially an unfinished game for $60 and then charge extra to get the rest of it later on. I honestly would prefer if they just sold a complete game at a higher price on release. I think back to the days where I easily spent $50-$70 on SNES, N64, PS1 and PS2 games. The base price points of games have ultimately remained the same. So I don't mind paying a little extra for new releases because of inflation and all that jazz, but I would prefer to have the complete game right away and not have to wait for pieces of it months later.

Does anyone know whether any place sold PSN credit at a discount for Black Friday/Cyber Monday (gods I hate that term) last year? I was without a PS4 so wasn't paying attention.

The problem is people consider any and all dlc to be proof that a game is unfinished which is just utterly ridiculous.

Also you can't bring up older games and then just completely ignore the fact that back before devs could push out updates easily they would instead just release new versions of the game and expect you to buy it for full price again. There were so many re-releases of games back then that would add a tiny amount of new content and some balance changes then just sell it for full price.

It's worse than I imagined. None of my purchases are showing up as having been purchased. Everything I've ever bought has a price tag on it again... Everything is okay on the actual console, thankfully. Of course, you can't access your wishlist on the console...

I don't think DLC means a game is unfinished. I have no problems with developers having great ideas after a game is released and them wanting to add it to their game as DLC. I do, however, have a problem with developers planning and working on DLC alongside the game well before the release date, with every intention of releasing it later on just to make more money off of it.

I decided to wait and see how it develops. Might pick it up if Best Buy does B2G1 after Black Friday. I don't care about loot crates in single-player games but this seems like it could be a real problem.
Campaign is only 5 hours so that's a problem for people getting it for that alone

The nominees for The Game Awards are out now:

http://thegameawards.com/awards/

The show's on 12/7, so we should get a sale then on at least some of the games that are nominated.
I haven't played any of this year's nominees in any category except 5 minutes on Super Mario Run and the beta of Overwatch. Not sure if that says more about me or more about this year's games.

Anyway, I do want to play a few of them, particularly Horizon.

That's not a bad price, but it's $24.99 on the store so maybe it was on sale this whole time until today? :whistle2:k

...Oh. Sorry.

...Thanks for not rubbing it in.
Nope, the Nioh Season Pass was on sale a long time ago and PSPrices apparently never detected when it went off sale, so it still thinks its on sale.

Lost dimensions cross buy?
This is a new low on PSN, previous low was $12. They are not cross-buy, but they do have separate trophy lists. The load times for attacks are slightly longer on the vita version, but that's the only difference. I enjoyed it quite a bit when I played it on PS3.

I somehow missed that sale and got excited when I saw the earlier post. Been itching to play some more Nioh and would've jumped on the season pass for that price.

Yeah I'm all digital and they are never the same. Usually $5-$10 difference like you stated. Even with the difference I buy the digital versions. If people are expecting the same prices as retail they will be disappointed.

BF digital is bad from my experience, but come Xmas sale, digitals often are cheaper than the BF prices and physical sales of the year. At least for me the last 3 years. So if we can wait so long for BF, mind as well wait another month.

Yeah I remember getting everything I wanted last year. I also usually buy PSN currency on the cheap and find a 20% here and there. Plus I've also already made peace with the digital tax.

I just bought a brand new XPS 15 laptop from Dell and for some reason, the Internet is extremely limited. Most sites I try to go to give a DNS error. The problem isn’t with the router as it works fine. Anyone know what the problem could be?

Not sure how Playstation deals can solve your problem

My refurbed XPS 13 had wifi connection issues; it would randomly dump and reconnect. I had to contact Dell for a repair on it after lots of hoop jumping. The wifi cards in the XPS series have been known to be ... not the best. Which is sad, as they are definitely top tier laptops.

I would make sure you've updated all your drivers from the Dell site, see if that helps or not, and then initiate a help ticket with Dell. It took me several weeks to resolve, but I'm overseas, thus making the chain for repair much longer.

On Topic: Still. Still no Bloodborne DLC. /grumpy

for people that did the sonyrewards trial reward... how long did it take for the trials to get checked off? when the trial is over?

Trying to figure out how I can do the PS Music trial. I think I’ve had Spotify trials on all of my email accounts so not sure if it will even let me (unless I create yet another email).

Why? What difference does it make when the are working on the DLC? Either way they are going to charge $15-$40 for the DLC. Weather it is developed along side or the day/month after it the game is released?

Do you only play games that are 20+ hours long? Lots of great games are only 5-8 hours in length. Should those be only $15-$30 at release? I don't bother with most season passes or DLC. Some DLC is great and worth it. Much of the time for single player games after I have finished the campaign I am ready to move on to something else. Online type of games the DLC is more compelling or even required.

I have a problem with super buggy games or unfinished games being sold and then later patched to make them work right. Or when they are patched so much it isn't even like the same game any more. Games that just didn't seem thought all the way through.

this music trial one is a pain in the ass

is it not free? keeps wanting me to subscribe for a 2 dollar sign up fee or something

do I need to do the spotify free trial ( I don't use spotify)before linking accounts to PS?

// yeah I dunno what I'm doing. I have spotify on the ps4 with an account with a premium trial and is linked on ps4 but the rewards website link is telling me to link accounts and then it says it failed

how do I subscribe to ps music? dafuq
