Humble Sony back to Hubris Sony? That didn't last long! They already won the console war. Guess they feel they have nothing left to prove? Quality of monthly free games as gone down as well.

 
Not looking good. Saw that the PS Blog reposted a link to the weeklong sale with a “Black Friday hits PlayStation store!” title.

Hmmm....

But have we ever had a month without any flash sale?

Unless the early access sale last week was it. That said, steam had certain indie games on sale that I suspect would also be on sale on PSN.

I feel like the Black Friday flash sales are always the more recent releases for like $15 off or whatever. Like AC Origins, south park, etc...

These games were already on sale leads me to believe that there will be no flash sale. I could be wrong and they may have some crazy sale on older games or something, but I doubt that.

Edit - I just looked and the current weekly sale is called Black Friday Sale. So I think this is literally it guys.

I don't know why every has been saying there would be a flash sale. Since the beginning PlayStation said this would be the Black Friday sale.

where did they say that? because previous years sales were 2-3x as big as this one and had many more digital only games

I think they've always had black friday sales along with a Black Friday flash sale. Also it's there hasn't been a flash sale this month.

 
I feel like every once in a while a Flash Sale drops around 3pm cst. Holding out hope that is what's going to happen. With Cyber Monday around the corner I just feel confident that we are going to see some new deals. Particularly deals on things that aren't at retail stores.

 
not fully related, but is there a way to return to amazon website after proceeding to checkout? I know I can just back out of it or close and and open a new tab, but its kind of annoying. They either don't have this button or hid it to try to make you buy stuff.

 
Yeah it truly had been based on nothing more than our expectations based on years past and nothing factual from Sony. I could see a coupon code before offering up a new slate of games, even though with the recent Gran Turismo update announcement I wouldn't mind a nice sale on that. And Hellblade of course.

if you have used a 20% off code recently it won't let you use another. this has been said many times

if it says you entered the code incorrectly then contact sony psn chat support, theyll help u

When I put in the code, it tells me it is expired.

I also have the Day One Digital code

when i tried a 2nd code it says "This code has already been redeemed." Had my friend try it and it works.

Maybe someone high up in Sony will read this thread, see the word riot, and notice the outrage. Then slash prices drastically on some good games. Throw in a coupon code as well.
