Damn you. I'm not sure if i can resist this. I know nothing about it, but it has cards... in the title. Damn. Maybe i'll google it to see if it has reviews on some other platform.

Frisky also sold me Hot Shots Tennis. Is that the 'rpg' style tennis game? I remember hearing about some rpg tennis game and i want that, but I don't remember exactly what game people were going on about.

Which two? I've put so many hours into this game, but I've been working on a rare kill for awhile now. (you need to complete some challenges with different weapons, but one particular enemy hasn't spawned for me for ages whenever i've got the proper weapon equipped).

I know the steam version got patched recently; perhaps the patch is in sony qa. It's a small studio, and they released on multiple platforms... i know we all want patches yesterday, but i'm willing to give them a break as long as we get it.

I highly, highly recommend this game to anyone who likes arcade games. It's extremely good.

Quick note - the game has a sort of stop motion frame if you're colliding with something. Some people mistake this at first for a framerate problem -- it's not, it's intentional, and allows you to adjust to avoid death in certain situations (such as avoiding being hit more than once by machine gun fire).

It's by far one of my favorite games on vita. Top tier arcader, for sure.

Speaking of peeps -- what are those oreos people keep raving about? I thought someone said 'crispy marshmellow' or something, but my local store has like 20 different kinds of oreos but not those. raspberry cream. vanilla. double stuff, mega stuff, 2 different mint ones... a vanilla and chocolate triple decker. but no 'marshmellow crispy'.

The last time i bought oreos there were originals and double stuffs. wtf happened.

Not as much of an RPG as the Mario Golf/Tennis GBC games, but it definitely is borrowing from that style of sports games. My review from back in the day when it came out.

 
So all i've found out about Kilka Card gods so far is that it used to be a f2p ios game.

It's a mix of Sudoka and Solitaire that seems to get good (not necessarily great) reviews.   

I... might pick it up.

Yes, it is. It has action, romance, humor, sci fi, and stories that can be spread across multiple seasons. There were times where I've been genuinely amazed that something which seemed so insignificant in one season comes back to be huge like three seasons later.

If you told her you wanted to watch from the beginning with her, it would make her so happy you'd be getting boned every five minutes, guaranteed.

Dr. Who can be really good, but requires a certain level of tolerance for goofiness during certain episodes. It's a bit of an acquired taste at times.

You make quite a case there Stotch. I'm really not watching anything with Arrow and S.H.I.E.L.D. taking breaks, so I may have to give it a shot.
 
On another Doctor Who note, I have the 3D blu ray for the anniversary special, and it' sea silt the best in home 3D I've ever seen. Every time someone asks how the 3D TV works, I pop that sucker in and they vow to buy one. But then I don't tell them that aside from times like that, the 3D is pretty useless.
 
Heat aren't doing too well. I'm still hoping at the end of the match something crazy happens like Kobe Bryant comes onto the court and lays out all the Spurs with a chair. And then Lebron just starts chucking him half court shots like his name is Eldritch.

Derek Fisher was starting to become a fan-favorite here and he had a really inspiring playoff game where he flew back from New York where his daughter has eye cancer and was in the hospital and he contributed and helped us win the game.

Well, after the season he asked to be released from his contract so he could be with is family and relocate to a city that had "the right team of specialists" to help treat his daughter, who was currently being treated in New York.

17 days later he signs with the Lakers. Has bounced around quite a bit since then as well. Jazz fans felt like he used his sick daughter to manipulate his way out of a contract so he could play for a championship contender. Which is exactly what he did. Not a huge Jazz fan but I still happily boo him every time he's on TV.

Haha, Utah really does hate that man. I believe his daughter's doctor was located in NYC and they would fly her there every month or two so I can see why some fans would be suspicious that he signed in LA.

He had some big moments, but even as a Lakers fan I know he was a notorious, Vlade Divac-level flopper.

Still can't believe him and Kerr are getting 5 year/$25 million deals. It's like, I also have zero coaching experience, who wants to give me a contract like that?

Edit: Looks like I was beaten to the punch due to my slow typing. Of note, I think his daughter did get checkups in LA

I guess Jazz fans have to find something to arouse their passion for the team since nobody that's played for them for the past few years can do that.

 
So whatever happened to that next gen feature we were supposed to see where you can join a friend's game and play for them? Wasn't that supposed to be a big deal? I feel like I remember MS mentioning it a few times, and then just stopped talking about it.

I remember when DirecTV had an all 3D channel.

I think I tuned in to it one time to watch about 5 minutes of the BCS championship game.

And watched the Uncharted 3 trailer in 3D.

Other than that I can't think of anything I used it for. The batteries died on the one pair (because who's spending $60 for another pair?) of 3D glasses I had. Wanted to see how Puppeteer would look. Oh well.

I think most people were expecting theater style pop out of the screen instead of the depth you got (more like looking through a window) but man what a wasted gimmick. Good thing the TV itself was good and not just about the 3D.

I remember that. Pretty crappy move on Fisher's part. But then again... Utah.

 
And if you don't believe that, a couple years ago Fisher asked the Dallas Mavericks to release him so he could spend time with his family. A few weeks later he signed with the Thunder.

Didn't even know about that one. That's less than a year removed from having the Rockets buyout his contract after being traded to Houston. (for Jordan Hill! How can such a terrible GM just have James Harden and Dwight Howard fall into his lap? The man who gives untradeable contracts to Jeremy Lin and Omer Asik)

I definitely remember it being an announced feature with the PS4's share button. With all of the features being patched in to the PS4, can't recall any further mention of this. Wonder if they ever got it working in the first place. Or maybe they were worried about the potential conflict of people "sharing" their game libraries when they would want them to rent through PS Now.

Additionally, the whole "jump into your friend's game to help them out" feature that they were toting is fascinating to me. I can easily see a cottage industry of "professional game assistance" cropping up using this feature. It will be interesting to see what the limitations of that help from afar will be, and what language Sony puts in their TOS regarding this, and if it outright tries to prohibit or regulate people charging for such services.

Glad the Rainbow Moon sale is still going. Gives me some time to play it more before I decide on purchasing anything else. Just picked up the Large Starter kit with the money and 60k pearls. Game is fun, but seems like it will be pretty grindy, though. I just don't wanna break the game so early.

Guess I was forgetting that there was no demo for it. Played a bit of it on PC and yeah, it's a bit awkward at first (and for me continued to be awkward). I imagine we've all gotten used to standard twin stick shooter controls instead of the tank controls of Luftrausers.

Sadly, I believe the default engine is the best handling so it's all downhill from here.

Couldn't get into it like I could something like Geometry Wars. Even with the different unlockable parts.

I downloaded Delta on the 14th of May, so it definitely did not release today. Perhaps its the standard Delta that got put up on the store today as there was a timed Limited Edition on the store for early adopters with some extra bonuses.

I just picked up the new Vita grips for the slim model today. God what an improvement. My hands were cramping a bit after average play time but with the grips extended sides my palms rest naturally and comfortably.
