Luftrausers would be cool if it didn't control so fuck ing stupidly.  I doubt I pick it up again after tonight. There's $4.89 I'll never see again.  That could have bought me KFC tomorrow.

My fault for thinking I would like a game that Crunchewy likes.

EDIT: Why do my missions keep changing?  I had "Kill 3 ships while having no damage" so I've been working on that and I know I haven't gotten it yet.  But now it's not on my mission list anymore.  WTF?  Is it because I'm changing parts on my plane?  K, yes it is.

It controls amazingly. Use the dpad. Up is thrust, roll your thumb for angling. I can thread needles with that game.

It's really worth investing some time into. Also, it features a really subtle feature I wish more 'score attack' games would... the difficultly level of a new game is based on your previous game. So as you get better, the game naturally gets harder (starts up faster, more enemies, etc.)

There are definitely better bodies than the default imo, though there's nothing wrong with the default one. Actually, I like them all except maybe the collision one, but even that one is good at times.

I'm good at games where left is left, right is right, down is down, etc.

If I wanted to learn a new control scheme I would have started up one of the stupid 3D platformers I have that don't have inverted Y-axis.

Sweet. First the Last of Us themed dungeon/enemies, now this. Also the bonus stuff in Destiny. I know they arent game changing and dont really add all that much but they're nice little touches that I enjoy and make me glad i went PS4 for my primary console gen.

Why is Ori and the Blind Forest on Xbone getting so much attention?  XBLA and PSN have had these types of games for years.  Outland, Dust, Undergarden, ITSP, tons more.  It looks like a fun quality game but people treating it like it's new/different/special are idiots.

And people are calling it emotionally engaging.  It's a 2 minute trailer with a sprite bouncing around, a black bird, and that fat guy from Escape Plan.  How is that emotionally engaging?  At all?

The hyperbole around E3 is driving me insane.

As expected, Resogun is freaking AWESOME. I'm a little ashamed to admit it took me nearly 10 tries to beat the final level on Experienced. :oops: I'm still going to try for the plat.

DeadPool is surprisingly fun and I really like the humor so far.

Don't be. I still haven't. I blame it on playing the Rookie difficulty first, that's a setup for failure.

And for anyone wondering, I think RealBoxing is totally worth $1.75. The worst part so far is it cramps my hands trying to play boxing on the Vita. But the game itself is very fun, simple and easy to pick up. Much better than this Leftovers game.

Deadpool met and exceeded expectations. High Moon Studios is one of those studios that does surprisingly great work, but is under appreciated because they are in cahoots with Activision. War for Cybertron, Darkwatch, and now something to do with COD: Advanced Warfighter for PS3 / 360. Anyway. Deadpool. Great.

 
Of all the shitty, stupid, cringe inducing JRPG nonsense dialog I've read, I think Monster Monpiece takes the cake.   Just because it's about a bunch of school girls trying to save the world doesn't mean you get a bunch of school girls to come up the entire script during a single sleep over.

Though at least I understand what's going on, which is more than I can say for XIII.

I just got a Vita myself, and it's only improved my opinion of the 3DS. The browser is really nice, though.

Everything about this comment is bizarre. Not that the 3ds isn't wonderful, but it's a bit unusual for people to play a vita and then think better of their 3ds. And I don't think I've ever heard someone call the vita browser 'really nice', I feel like I'm paying it a compliment by calling it 'functional'.

 
oh yeah, I've got my coop hug super powers now in portal 2, so anyone that's up a 4:30ish in the morning cdt and who has crazy wood for trophies I'd be happy to give you a trophy hug (which probably won't do much for your crazy wood).

I mean, who doesn't like trophies?  Oh, maybe that kid at the end.

Same for me on Gunslugs, by the time I'd cruised through the rest of the game I just didn't have the endurance for that last level/boss trying over and over again. Maybe someday I'll come back to it, but probably not.

 
Yeah, I hear the coop in Portal 2 is pretty fun.  Just something I heard... I've never actually played it myself.  I mean, I own it... so technically I could play it sometime.

I don't usually say this--I would plop down $80-$100 for an MGS V: TPP Collector's Edition that includes a steelbook, Ground Zeroes, and well-crafted statue (of Snake or whatever Metal Gear is in this, I wouldn't care). That preview plus the E3 trailer from earlier this week have me SO PUMPED for TPP now. :joystick:

Didn't see it. But $6.14 is a world of difference. Especially with the PSN sales. :whistle2:

I'm not going to waste time moping over a $6 difference when there's nothing I can do about it. I have enough Amazon credit that I can afford to accept that "loss".

And I still have to play through MGS3, 4, Peace Walker, and Ground Zeroes before TPP, so they can take all the time they need...
