Nice sale. Hoping to snag a PS+ card to make it better.

Holy shit those PS blog post comments are hard to take. I mean, sure I know they are freaking idiots, but I can't help but worry that these loud mouths will push away some Indie developers. I suppose, though, as long as people are buying the Indie games, Indies will keep making games for PSN. And apparently people are buying Indie games as evidence by the success of games like Spelunky, Towerfall, etc, so I guess I'm not sure what I'm worrying about….

Love the deals this week.  Picked up:

Chrono Trigger

Chrono Cross

Vagrant Story

Tales of Symphonia Chronicles

Ys: Memories of Celceta

Personal 4 Golden

Also got sentimental and picked up Legend of Dragoon, even though it wasn't on sale.

Very satisfying, now to find the time to play them...

Why do people like admiralvic and affa leave this thread but this douchebag still comes in here? Holy fuckin shit.
I know you hate the dude for whatever reason but he's right that Ubisoft is literally Hitler over this Child of Light cross-buy incident.

Well, some of you have shitty taste when it comes to your sodas.
Haha just noticed your signature...I don't remember saying that but I probably did.

i really want borderlands on vita, but i'm going to try and hold out until they talk about the rest of the dlc. not sure why they're holding back 2 of the story dlcs, and i certainly don't want to pay for them later/take up card space. it's a good thing soul sac is coming soon, or i'd probably break down and get it anyway.

What is it you are expecting them to say? They listed what is included and those aren't part of it. They may or may not come at a later date, but if you don't want them to take up memory card space than you won't be getting them even if they do release them.

I agree with what crunchewy said. IF they come get released at all, you'll almost certainly be paying for them and downloading them as a separate download.

OlliOlli crash bug fix sounds like it is finally going to be out somewhat soonish. News with more details next week. And a subsequent update will include full leader boards instead of this only the global top score nonsense. Yeah! No ETA on that one yet, other than hopefully early summer.

In Spelunky news, and I know you can't get enough of it, from Derek Yu's comments on the PS blog, the PS4 version will include the pro HUD from the PC version, and it will also be patched into the PS3 and Vita versions in the next update. No ETA mentioned on that.

Cross save for BL2 is awesome. Was that announced previously and I missed it? Hopefully it has a separate trophy list that will auto pop my platinum when I load my cross save.

If not, I'll just play it again because it was a pretty sweet game.

I think it was confirmed by the developers that you'll auto-pop all trophies when you bring over your save, so that probably confirms separate trophy lists, too.

that's pretty obvious, i guess i should have worded that differently. i just want to know if they plan on bringing the rest of the missing pieces to the vita. if they're going to release it all later, then i won't be supporting the vita version of the game. i could understand the second vault upgrade, and the headhunter packs, but i don't see why the vita can't get the full goty that is sitting on shelves now for $40 for the other systems.

Awesome! Then you can simply not play it, because what's the point if doing so isn't going to earn you trophies?

Am I doing it right?

The week Borderlands 2 launches on Vita, its cousin on PS3 will be patched. Thereafter, you can send your saves between Vita and PS3 (and back again) at will, and you won't have to use the PlayStation Plus cloud to do so. Borderlands 2 on Vita also has its own Trophy list, so you can earn Trophies again on Vita if you've already earned them on PS3 (and the ones you earned on one version should automatically pop on the other).

Coke Zero is my jam. Love it. Cherry Dr Pepper is a close second. Pepsi tastes flat to me. And way too sweet.

Btw will I be able to dl the Show ps4 early? Or only pre orders moving forward?

Any of y'all east coasters ever have Moxie soda? It may have been a thing only in Maine. If I recall, it tasted like a combination of flat Dr. pepper and orange soda. 'Twas gross. The town I lived in had a yearly festival called Moxie Days too cause it was made there or something. Wonder if that shit is still around.

This is all that's been said about pre-loading:

How does the automatic pre-download work for my pre-ordered games on PS4?

Select PS4 games on PlayStation Store will be available for pre-order with automatic pre-download. When purchased, these games will appear in-store with a countdown timer until they’ll be ready to play. Up to several days before the game becomes available, the system will begin to download and install the game automatically and an icon for the game will be placed on your PS4’s home screen with a timer showing a countdown until the content is ready to play, so you can play as soon as the content releases.

Nothing has been announced for pre-loading just yet.

I don't know for sure, but it's quite possible they simply ran out of room. The vita game cards are... 4g if i remember correctly?

But then again, I don't see why you'd skip a game over this in the first place, so what do i know? i'm happy they're including some.

Love the deals this week. Picked up:

Chrono Trigger

Chrono Cross

Vagrant Story

Tales of Symphonia Chronicles

Ys: Memories of Celceta

Personal 4 Golden

Also got sentimental and picked up Legend of Dragoon, even though it wasn't on sale.

Very satisfying, now to find the time to play them...
I absolutely love that game. I've been wanting a sequel to that game since I first played it 14 years ago.

You'll never see the other DLC available. This is it. Vita's numbers are too weak to support that kind of DLC and it probably wasn't included simply because of them trying to keep it as close to profitable as possible. I would imagine the only reason that some DLC was included was to make it feel like something of an enhanced version rather than just a straight port of the original Borderlands 2.

That's fine if you don't want to support the Vita version, but the fact that Sony is probably throwing away money on this port might be admirable to some people. There's no way anything like Borderlands 2 would ever come to Vita other than Sony choosing to lose money. To avoid it simply because you can get all of the DLC elsewhere is missing some of the point of the Vita version.

I'd love to be wrong and see all of the DLC and even new DLC come to Vita, but Vita is almost definitely a losing proposition for almost any DLC since only a small fraction of people from a small user base to begin with will ever buy it.

I heard of it becaue I watch food network a lot and someone went to Maine. I would assume it is still around. I tried it a long time ago, and I concur it is awful. Whenever you hear about a drink or food that is only located in one place you know it isnt good. Its just nostalgic or whatever for the area/group of people that like it.

Can I see the internal profit and loss reports that you seem to have access to when you are done reading them? Greatly appreciated.

LoD is one of the few ps1 games I kept over the years. Good stuff.

Years ago I went to England and they had this bizarre soda at McDonalds (we wanted to see what weird shit they had there) which was orange in color, but tasted like black licorice. Now I like black licorice, but I can't say that I would ever want a black licorice flavored soda. Especially not one that is orange. LOL. I can't remember what it was called. Weird shit. So, yeah, we were successful. LOL.

i'm surprised how many people are against my opinion, but will pass on a complete experience like child of light cause they can't get cross buy. maybe i should have said i won't buy it cause i can't cross buy with the ps3 goty.

honestly, i haven't even played any of the dlc yet, but from what i understand tiny tina's is the best one(not included). from a nerd standpoint, it would be the best to me from trophy/achievement names alone. if they had a more legitimate answer than "wait-and-see" i might be more understanding. why not tell us what the deal is straight up? not enough space on the cart, picked the best selling dlcs, or just tell us "you buy we make". just wish more devs/pubs would be more open and honest with us.

full disclosure, if this game ever does go on sale for

Sounds like maybe it was anise flavored, which tastes similar to black licorice. As kids we always called it anus because, well....it tasted like shit (my mom made anise cookies).

I wonder if those God of War & Sly Cooper collection ports are gonna have the cross-save auto-pop thing going on. Separate trophy lists have been released. That would be aces because I already have three of those five plats.

full disclosure, if this game ever does go on sale for <$15-20, i'd end up buying it, cause i'm a weak man. i've also supported the hell out of the vita since launch by buying practically every good/decent retail release, and even a few digital day ones.

tl;dr i talk big, but i'm sony's bitch for life :(
I don't really think they've been dishonest at all. Like WNYX said, they probably chose to include some DLC to make it look like it's not just the barebones game, and they probably chose the DLC that was easiest and most cost effective to port over. They'll add the rest if the demand is there. BL2 on Vita is definitely a money-loser, but Sony is going to bear the brunt of the loss not 2K.
