Germany all the way still but Argentia beating Brazil for the final would be awesome too. Brazil being another team I can't stand and Argentina being their hated rivals that would be winning the Would Cup in Brazil.

While Phil Fish will always manage to say it in the worst way possible, I do agree that Youtube seems to be about 95%+ people making money off of other people's content, including re-uploading other people's videos just to eke out a couple cents of ad revenue for themselves.

 
I have one of those Energizer (PDP) DS3 charger stands - one of the earlier ones with the two USB ports on the side. The bottom controller port stays permanently lit red, even when nothing is plugged in. Anyone see anything about a potential fix? Don't particularly want to spend $25 to replace it if it might be a simple fix. Thanks.

 
and portal too. Darksiders was great.

I played like 10 hours of darksiders 2 and it seemed epic, but so much more different and lost interest.

Bulletstorm is freaking awesome too, with the skillshots and characters. One of my rarest plats, but that online is a real grind. Hilarious fun game tho and those weapons are too cool, like ratchet and clank crazy style.

Trials Fusion is getting a new mode in a new update:

Today, Ubisoft announced that Trials Fusion, the popular platform racer from RedLynx is receiving a free update, the first of many planned to introduce new features for the game. The free update brings online tournaments to the game, giving players the chance to show off their skills in a variety of challenges. Additionally, 10 player created tracks have been made available cross-platform through Track Central, giving players more tracks than ever to choose from.

Through tournaments players will be able to see how they stack up against other Trials Fusion players. Each tournament will run for a limited time, giving players multiple opportunities to place on the leaderboards to win rider gear, bike parts, in-game cash and experience points. Prizes will be rewarded based on a players’ position on the leaderboard, the higher the rank the greater the prize.

Netherlands/USA would be my dream final but obviously that's a tad of a long shot. But I need Netherlands and Brazil to finish in the same spot in their respective groups (either both 1st or both 2nd) so they don't have to go head-to-head in the Round of 16. As long as US can get out of their group, the Round of 16 game will be winnable.

I don't hate Brazil but I don't like them either, especially at home. Only teams I really don't like are Spain, Mexico, Portugal, and France.

Callate! Stupid Brazil, why couldn't they at least put one on them? Ochoa had some great saves but Brazil did a great job of slamming the ball right where he was standing. Looked like me playing FIFA because I suck at aiming my shots.

I'm so close to finally breaking down and buying PS All Stars.

And they need to put that HSG add-on content on sale. It would probably make me buy the PS3 version if I knew I was saving money on the extra courses/characters.

The PS3 version includes a few of the courses and characters. The DLC is also Cross Buy, so anything you purchased on Vita is free on PS3.

fair warning, velo already mentioned it but the online trophies are a massive grind even with boosting. it's the game that taught me to check trophy lists first... I did all the sp trophies (including some really difficult challenge ones) before discovering that even with boosting, it's like 60 hours of doing the same map over and over or something ridiculous for the plat. shaq that.

still, it's a great game. it's similar in many ways to vanquish, actually, just with a goofy and colorful approach.

Thanks. Based on your post, I likely won't bother with the online trophies. I'll just keep myself occupied with the SP stuff.

 
it really wasn't that bad. I got it done in 2 days, maybe 5 hours a day. (these are old memories, I could be totally completely wrong)  It was with a mic and a buddy and for 5 hours we just talked and 3,2,1 kick and pull. Just the same thing of kicking every guy and then them leash pulling them over the tornado gap to get massive points. but yeah totally repetitive. make sure to have a drink and a smoke ready ;) It is actually fun if you both have mics and have a good partner and know what you are doing/sync kills. but yeah, grindy none the less.

I even 100%'d it, I think I am 1 of 15 people that bought the dlc.

i admit to being an idiot and grinding trophies at times. i have no trophy shame.

rpg and theeliteone also 100%'d buttetstorm. so yup, kudos to them. and admiralvic platted it.

Not going for online trophies doesn't make you a wuss.

However, going for grindy online trophies when you're not having fun anymore does make you an idiot.

And then you hit the button again and again it doesn't work and you get more zombies. And again. I run out of ammo for my good weapons and then I die. I suppose I should see if I can turn the difficulty down mid-game. Or maybe there is some trick I'm supposed to figure out that makes the lift work?

Entwined ain't a bad game. Feels like I'm playing those bonus stages in sonic, though. Also seems like it'll be a hard-ish 100%. Hopefully I'm really good at it by the time I finish the story.

The PS3 version already comes with most of the DLC - it's just missing one course and Kat from Gravity Rush, and her costume. As Frisky said, your DLC purchase is shared between both versions of the game.
 
The Vita is an amazing system and I'm enjoying catching up on its library at the moment.

But fuck me if it turns into an indie/half assed port machine for the next few years.

Or as Sony is trying to market the thing lately, a crappy version of the Wii U Gamepad for the PS4.

I had my doubts, but that Playstation All-Stars game is pretty great. Been taking a bite of it here, a nibble of it there, and have been enjoying every minute of it. I like the emphasis on super moves- turning into Clank and walloping everyone else with a wrench is incredibly satisfying- and I'm amused by how stages start out as a tribute to one game, only to be interrupted by another one. Best of all, I get to pick one of Sony's older, cuter mascots AND COMPLETELY DESTROY all their annoying grimdark ones. I could spend all day beating the hell out of Colonel Radish and turning him into Lucky Charms.
