Depends how much you plan to play it. I haven't played a WWE game since back on PS2, but I enjoyed it. The online sucks though and there's no real career mode. I'd probably say pass at $30 unless you're dying to get it.

Seems this talk has died down, I've been binge watching House of Cards all day so I'm a little slow. I'll drink anything when it comes down to it, but Blue Moon is always preferable. I wouldn't classify it as a "chick drink", but I can see the flavor thing playing a factor. I'm not shy of bourbon/whiskey either, Knob Creek and Crown Royal are great friends.

I think I've been pretty clear in my statements that RPG is 1000 times better at doing Frisky's job than Frisky. He could probably come up with a better OP too.

Sweet, because the story in Bayonetta was really the best part of the game...can't wait to watch a Bayonetta movie that is 100% story and 0% gameplay.

You're definitely rusty, as I had a blast with AC. Arkham Origins, on the other hand... :headache:

48.7% completed in the VR Missions, with MGS2 Snake's missions done (Variety Mode can go DIAF) and Pliskin, Tuxedo Snake, and MGS1 Snake remaining. :joystick:

I respect anyone in America that drinks beer besides Bud, Miller, and Coors.  Blue Moon while made by Coors is a respectable beer and is widely available unlike many beers I would consider better options.  

With that said, if I saw you take the fruit they put on the glass in most bars here and slam dunk it into the beer, I would shake my head in shame.  If someone tells you that is how they do it in Belgium, they dont have a fucking clue.

To try and be an equal opportunity offender.... for those that like Guinness, there are also much better stouts out there.  It really does not have much flavor at all.  It does get major props for the thickness of the beer, but that is really just due to the nitro.

I really enjoy Guinness, but I tend to lean towards a stout made by a local brewery (Deschutes) more and more. I've been missing Goose Island since leaving Chicago. But then Coors bought them and now I can find it here on the West Coast occasionally.

Congrats! Having a kid is the best thing I ever did. Puts everything in perspective; I feel like time started when my son was born... everything before that was me wasting time. Perhaps wasting is too strong of a word for it, but, something like that. My son trumps all other accomplishments by miles.

There are a few here who warned me away from it, but I bought it anyway based on some reviews and other comments I'd read.

I'm very early in -- only a bit past the tutorial dungeon, but so far I'm glad I bought it. Some cool mechanics in place that could really pan out well. The plot/story is about curry, so sucks, but it's not 'I'd rather burn myself alive' bad like, say, Monster Monpiece was (I still have scars from that games dialog). This games story/dialog is more on par with the Atelier series -- goofy and lighthearted, but not downright painful.

I'll probably be able to give a better review Sun or Mon once I have some more time into it. I can only speak ot the very basic controls/mechanics right now, which seem interesting if you like roguelikes. I'd say if you're interested enough to be asking, it's probably worth the $12 just to get it since that's a pretty solid price point, unless that's your lunch money or something.

I love the Guinness Draught the best. I used to bring it over to a friends house and then the next time I came by none of my Guinness had been drank. I told him anybody can have some and he replied nobody likes Guinness here. That's fine with me.

Not counting trophy patches for games that didn't have them before, I know GT6 got some new trophies to go along with the new Ayrton Senna stuff they added recently. I'm sure there are others.

If you exclude the obvious pure trophy patches (Uncharted, Burnout Paradise, etc) and pure DLC trophies... then yes, this is the first time I can think of that a pure game update added trophies to an already existing trophy set.

 
So I just finished Uncharted 3. Lots of mixed feelings right now.  I love Uncharted 1 + 2 so I had high expectations. As an overall experience it was great.  I was a little disappointed on the overall division of character time but the story was good.  But man the control to me seemed too loose.  Maybe I am just forgetting how they felt in the first 2 games.  The thing that really bugged me was they changed in enemy AI.  They basically changed how you need to play the game without really giving you the tools to play it that way.  You still have to take cover or else you get slammed but the enemies bum rush you all the time.  I really felt like there were tons of cheap deaths and I am not sure I will try beating it on Crushing like I did the first 2.  Just on Normal it felt harder but difficulty is not the problem, it is the fairness.  Stealth is completely broken which was unfortunate.  Playing Uncharted 3 actually made me appreciate how much better the controls were in The Last of US.  Also, way too many run from this sections and the Tomb Raider reboot did it better.  The ending though was done much better over the first 2 games though.  

Game was a tad short also. I finished in 8h20min with 56 treasures.

Edit: I am also afraid UC4 will be even less like the first 3 and we are going to get a much more solo Drake experience. I hope not though.

Also to expand on the AI issue.  Weird enemy spawns at times and being forced into hand to hand combat while 3 others guys shoot you to death is poor design.

Welp I'm sure glad I didn't attempt to play Wolfenstein on Uber from the start.  Going to be very frustrating if I manage to beat this level on it and then the exploit doesn't work.

 
Sony was really, really wise to include Tearaway in their latest online sale. I play the game in small bites, just like I've been doing with Kirby Triple Deluxe, and I absolutely love it. It's one of the most brilliant titles I've played, well, ever. You can make objects out of friggin' construction paper and put them in the game while you play it! You attack monsters by sticking your fingers through the system! The object of the game is reaching yourself with your little letterhead guy! It's just bursting with imagination. That game alone would almost be enough to justify buying the system, because it uses it so well.

I just don't enjoy shooters that play like this does on Uber. I think I'm past the worst section at least and there's no more guards that are going to pop around a corner and one shot me.

Besides I have better things to do than endlessly bash my head against a wall in an experience that I'm not enjoying. I have an MMO to play instead. :whee:

Its not cheap. Unless you walk up to someone in their face...you won't die. At close range they kill quickly. But id say most of the time you dont want to be in someones face who's carrying a gun. So common sense says stay away or have a quick trigger finger and good aim.

This game is a joke compared to WaW.

I couldn't beat Uber and decided to trade it in before the value dropped. I'll live with the 94% until I decide to pick if up cheap later on. Nerve damage got the best of me on this game. My reaction speed on Uber was horrible and was getting killed by 2 or 3 hits over just wasn't fun. I liked the game and the story was good. I also don't play a lot of FPS so that's probably part of the problem.

Pure luck was heavily involved. The game had the balls to throw seven grenades at you, with the grenade indicator going haywire and basically making it worse. I can't recall another game where they throw so much shit at you in such a precise way.
