It is NOT garbage. It isn't fantastic, but it is fun if you like Megaman games (it is closer to X than original games) it is fun. It has weird spikes in difficulty, like you will breeze through parts and hit some brick walls here and there. It is not a great performer, but on PS4 it is fine. The best way to get it is to buy physical new on the many sales it has seen, redeem the digital code (which gives you the DLC and the digital versions for PS4/PS3 and Vita if it ever comes out) then trade in the disk.

It was, but it has gone silent with no word on a release date or anything else six months after the original launch. A purchase now should probably be based on what's out right now, not a nebulous Vita version may or may not come out later on.

The time limit for the $10 code is just for taking the code from the message and redeeming it to your wallet in the store. Once it's in your wallet it sits there for as long as you take to spend it.

Nothing is going to be praised 100% by everyone. If you know what type of game Life is Strange is and think you would enjoy it, then it's a steal at this price. For every one person who shares Vigilante's opinion on it, there are at least 10 that would say the exact opposite about it. There are people that think games like Mass Effect, Bioshock, Skyrim, Fallout, Metal Gear, and so on are complete trash, so it really comes down to what kind of gaming experience you enjoy.

But if you watch a few YouTube videos on it you should know pretty quick if it's your cup of tea.

I need to give Life is Stange another shot but the choices / use of abilities is also a lot more obtuse. I sadly had to look at a guide to get through one of the situations very early in the game. I just think I kind of suck.

Until Dawn is basically in the Heavy Rain mold, much like all of the Telltale and Life is Strange stuff. It's a much bigger budget game that is designed around being an interactive horror movie, so the decisions you make and your success in QTEs and such will determine how well the characters do throughout the game. There are many more consequences to the whole thing that there aren't in the Telltale and Life is Strange stuff.

Rigs Mechanized Combat League is getting the first part of its big Winter Update tomorrow in a new arena. On 12/27, they are adding new Rigs that are new versions of the base Rigs but faster with lighter armor. They're also adding new Weekly Trials and a Customization Store at some point with the latter using the in-game credits for new limited time suits and such.

Went to Target to buy Store Cards while B1G1 10% off, some idiot mixed the PS+ and STORE cards on the same ing rack so I bought half store cards and half PS+ cards...
